In the US, I went to a two year linesman college, graduated in 2021, & got a cdl recently. Hoping to get an interview soon. Hard to get in for some reason. A lot of nepotism over here unfortunately.

*Linesman...
Why are they using class 2 rubber gloves for putting a earth on muppets
someone in management told them to ;)
It is an energized conductor until the grounds are applied.
51Winton Yeah imagine being extra safe and careful when dealing with high voltage electricity. Nerds.
Because applying earth is still a part or isolation procedure. Someone doesn't read the regs.
American lineman here, are you calling a ground an earth ?
No one in the field wears safety glasses?
Thanks for pointing this out Keith. The video is a few years old and we have since updated our safety policy to ensure safety glasses are worn when we are working on or next to the network. We'll be updating our video to reflect this.
Electricity North West Outstanding!
Bet you are fun at parties..
@@ElectricityNorthWest to be honest theres no excuse the video is only 5 years old even then you should be wearing glasses
@@ElectricityNorthWest what's the salary for this kind of role?
