    May the gods bless and cherish Ruth Rundgren. What an intuitive, warm, loving soul. I was honored to meet her a couple of times, and she made quite an impression on me.

    Can't believe I grew up so close to him. Just 20 miles on the other side of Philly.

    WOW what a find, this video! I was at GARF '85 and recognize some of the faces in this video... Ruth of course, Mary, Patty and others... lots of fun pics in my photo album from that time in Philly. I remember asking Ruth about Todd knitting in class too! What a time, I'll never forget it.

      I guess you could call them the "Toddstocks" of the 1980s, minus Todd and band members.

    Thanks for this awesome video Ed. Upper Darby looks so much like the neighborhood that I grew up in Pittsburgh. Blessings to Ruth, Todd and family. Gosh, Todd looks very much like his mamma.

    Wow, thanks for uploading this, Ed! Believe it or not I have a photo of you while you were videotaping Mom Rundgren in this video. Imagine my surprise when I saw myself in the video, toward the end, when we were singing "One World". I had forgotten all about that part. Well, thanks again and take care!

    I remember Ed and Mary back in the day. Remember flying into Maryland and drove with Mary and someone else to Upper Darby to meet Ruth and Harry. Met Todd's sister and Robin. Thought it was '82 TEPTAE. Perhaps '84. 40 years ago. Wow! We all drove up to Wilkes Barre, PA to see Todd play. Later that evening at our hotel believe it or not... Todd showed up!

    Cool beans Ed....Crate Paper on her skirt, sounds like a type of school I went to, we would cut or take to seam out of our bell bottoms and wear body shirts and we would get sent home to change or told not wear them anymore, we would say, this all we have to wear, call our mom, they finally gave up on us hippies or rebels..that was the late 60's and early 70's...Great story about underground school paper...Peace bird..

    • @SpiritofharmonyOrg
      @SpiritofharmonyOrg Před 7 lety +4

      Many are still fans. Mary for one, who was one of the originators of Utopia Times. ME... guess you would still consider me a fan! LOL! Patty Hobart, who sings the school fight song. There are a lot of people, really don't know all.

    Bobby Hummel lived next door from me when I was a kid,he was way older than me and I never believed him til right now😮

      @michaelblaine6032 Před 4 lety +1

      Dude, before you were born Bobby knew I was a fan and he told me his name was on Todd's first album (Runt). I didn't find his name on it so I wasn't sure what was going on. About a year ago I looked at my Runt CD and saw the liner notes which were taken from the original paper liner on the album. I read those notes thoroughly and sure enough, Bobby's name was on there! When I bought the album way back my paper liner was just paper (no notes) so that's why I didn't see Bobby's name.
