    16歳で免許取って最初に買い乗ってたバイクです。今見てもかっこいいと感じます。大切に維持されてるのを嬉しく思います。😃

I had a 1966 305 Superhawk my Freshman year in college. I took off the long torpedo mufflers and put on Triumph short mufflers. I paid $300. for it in 1974 and I got it up to 105 mph on a lonely flat Oklahoma farm road one Sunday morning. It was so steady and well balanced you could lock the throttle and stand up on the seat with no hands.

Had a 64 super hawk when I was in the army stationed at Ft Huachuca.Lots of nice canyon runs to Mexico. Almost no traffic in 1968.

I had a 1967 Super Hawk. Whoo boy, how I loved that machine!! Not exactly sure what happened to it. Sometime while I was in college it drifted away. Man, I wish I had it now!! Thanks for the look at yours!

Actually, they began sending them through to the dealers with that new seat treatment, the padding against the tank. The CB160s came through with that feature also. It is standard for that year. I was a service tech and manager for a new Honda dealership during these years.

Hi, speaking about the CA- 110 50c.c. Cub, Honda would say " 143 miles per gallon. Pay for it with your savings on gasoline.

I had two friends who each had black SuperHawks. One had a ‘65 and the other had a ‘66. They both came with the stock straight handlebars and each of them opted to put “scrambler” bars on them to allow for a more upright riding position. The seat, as he mentioned, should have had no silver piping and should have been straight in front instead of having the bump. The bump was added in the ‘67 model year, which was the model I purchased., also opting for the scrambler bars. I remember never liking or getting accustomed to the look of the bump. I sold the bike in ‘69 and that guy sold it in ‘71. Sometime around ‘74 I approached the third owner with an offer to buy it back. He just laughed. I lost track of it after that. I always liked the stock exhaust note on the 305.

Probably the best bike for its time that Honda ever built. Certainly way better than the bland crap they’re turning out now.

Nice bike ! FYI ,that seat has been reupholstered (silver piping is a dead giveaway) but some bikes came with that seat and none had the "Honda" on the back. I'm not sure but almost all of them that I have seen did have those low bars.

The flat bars were standard for '65s, I had one myself (dealer mechanic). For the next year, they came through with bars that had a small rise to appease the market demand for higher bars due to U.S. market tastes.

If you don't address the bubbling on the tank the rust beneath will eat holes in it. Beautiful wee bikes well worth fixing

Never mind the brilliant adjustable footrests or cool forward working kickstarter, anybody noticed the control cables that have built-in grease nipples?

Yes, several models had those, saw that first on some CB-92 125cc sport models starting in about 1960.

The only people who ride a motorcycle in shorts are those who haven't laid one down yet. Same thing goes for riding without gloves.

Relax Gary Tacticool, this is America! There are only a very few absolutes in this World. Riding in shorts and wearing gloves aren’t on the list. Stay cool man

I wouldn't wear a helmet either if I took a 5 minute ride on a vintage bike just to go past the camera at 20mph. That probably makes me stupid but quit crying about it here. Nobody cares.
