This bike is tits, man. Brings back mammories.
i grew up in westbury long island, on the glacial till. minibike heaven the rich kids had 2 mini trails, and i had a rupp. theirs looked just like yours.
$500 at best.
Original (53 year old) tires isnt really a selling point.
Why compromise the performance of a Norton Commando by installing a single Mikuni carb. Cough, sputter, gasp. The new owner should put the dual Amal carbs back on, only then will they know how a Norton Commando should perform.
I had a red one
Less than a grand new.
This is what I learned to ride on. Ours was a 4 speed with a clutch if I recall.
lol I just bought one of these I'm fixing up...I didn't even realize there's supposed to be a buzzer for the blinkers....but now that I think about it I did see it mentioned in one of the wiring schematics I was using, but I just figured it was for a different year or something.
I just bought one of these...not in nearly as good of shape. Tank has a terrible rattle can paint job. Missing the oil reservoir shroud and the left side shroud is some piece of crap after market thing. Some other cheap aftermarket stuff on it, but otherwise it's road worthy. I have it all torn apart right now, but hope to have it back on the road soon.
Neat. It might as well been a bigger frame. It has suspension far from a common minibike
That XS650 right side crankcase cover is one of the prettiest (coolest) engine designs ever ..well the whole motor (tappet covers cool) too but that big ol alum unit crankcase clutch cover with the deep YAMAHA engraving is an industrial art masterpiece... not to mention screams 'flat track racer'
😎👍
I bought mine in '69, my first cycle. I could never get the mixtures right and always bellowed smoke, embarrassingly, as well as eat sparkplugs. Otherwise it was nice to ride but the Suzuki 250 Hustler ate it in speed and reliability. Well my mates one did anyway. Thanks for the post and memories
I had one of these in Austria where it was sold as a Puch SGS...a lovely little bike, took me and my then girlfriend all round the countryside in style.
Is this before Polaris started making Indian?
No this is the Polaris and they have really hit a home run with it! Thanks for your interest.
How much $$
Great bike but you're taking it Out on dry rotted tires! ?
I had one. I put Krome Werks mufflers from my Sportster on it and it really sounded good. OHC and HP plus mufflers is a cool combo.
Wow that's nice the paint the engine everything
Thanks for your kind words!
I had a 1973 Capri and my girlfriend at culinary school had a 1974 same color blue 💙
And the point is?
Sounds fantastic
Hermosa máquina lástima ya no las hacen como en esos tiempos❤❤❤
Musica especial para mis oidos . Felicidades amigo tienes una joya de motorcycle..
I just love it when people like this are like crooked used car salesmen . Ho yes everything is original . Lie from the start just like Donald Trump . Then they cant wait to tell you all the nice things about it . Well I dont this the cables are or the NEW seat and then and then on / F--- I dont thing the paint is ether . Liars tell on them selves in know thing if your going to buy it that oyr eyes and ears will ignort the BS lies .
Its a 63 .
You know they're /7 mufflers...?
Is this bike still available/cost/location?
Sorry, it was sold on eBay. Thanks for your interest
@@TriguyT110 Do you miss it yet ? 😁
I had two T150Vs, I sold both. Silly me as I was always the happiest riding those bikes bar none.
Do not compares the quality Honda Gold wing with the Harley super weighty !
جميل جدا 🛵😊
Go for it. I had one for years and ya know, they are all and more that they say. OK, I still have and ride my Norton 1972 Commando. 😊
1:12 need some information on the coil thanks 1:35
The one way I know of to tell if this is a 77 or 78 is the speedometer. On a 1977 the cable will come out of the speedometer at a 90 degree angle to the speedometer housing. On a 78 an 79 the cable will be racked down towards the front hub.
Bad very powerful/ fast
Love them add 2 of them a 79 /plus a touring model by kawasaki that be an 81 both had all the bells and 🎉 ever need I can still get ack the 79 which I may thanks
What a beautiful bike...!!! a real beauty.
Sir, i couldn't find you on eBay ! Do you have any link of the pages?
That is 100% an RT2 360, the RT1 was completely different.
tune it better...mufflers are too loud.. those things were super quiet !
not original seat or those chrome hand rails.
Is the Tail light marked Lucas ? It looks exactly like a Triumph light . Nice Bike.
Fantastic short video! My last race bike at age 17 was this one. Our leathers would take the paint off the aluminum tank. Would love to buy it but I'm sure its sold by now. Subscribed.
What's the point of owning this bike if you have only done 75 miles on it ? Guess you are just a bread head who is into motorcycles for their value!......wanker !
I just bought a motorcycle just like this one almost matching. It needs vert minor work. Do you or anyone you know work on these? Thank you
In my favourite colour
I had one in yellow a 78.😊
