    Here at Sun Distributing, we believe that the supplier of the window film should know every aspect of the business. It makes it hard when a tinter or tint shop needs support but their supplier does not know the business from one end to the other. I started as a tinter helper in 1989 and worked my way up to the point of distribution. Along the way I have put together a successful retail tint shop and know every hurdle that a tinter and/or shop owner could face. I believe that there is an extreme value to having a company with our experience in the industry having your back.

Also Just make sure you don't spam the cut button on the what ever software you use and clear your queue in (printer & scanners) before turning on your plotter lol @@gianniguallpa3777

    Man as someone who uses a graphtec all the stuff you had issues with wouldn’t be there on a graphtec. Like profiles, longer roller area on right side, blade depth calibration etc. of course yours is still more than good enough to get the job done it just goes to show where that extra money goes.

  • @mattsconberg8225
    @mattsconberg8225 Před 2 lety +4

    I think a few of your concerns are just your inexperience working with plotters. the moving film left to right is a simple fix, you should line up your film roll with where it it feeds onto the plotter. a good move is to over feed with no Pinch rollers, then by hand and evenly roll back the film roll about 6 inches or so, that will level out and straighten up your feed. then you Pinch, and run....

    I hand cut specialty cars like older 80s cars and what not but for most newer cars I use a plotter to speed it up and can say graphtech is Wel worth the money luckily I didn’t have to pay for it- but can say it is super easy to switch between ppf and window film as well as keep the roll straight with those extra long grit rollers I’m able to save presets and can cut out multiple cars in under 5 min but like the video said their will always be tweaking you’ll have to do on some occasions but honestly the one in the video isn’t bad and if u know how to use it it can be a very fast way to cut out car while working on another

    • @DetroitTintStudio

    • @AstonThaRat
      @AstonThaRat Před 3 měsíci

      If your plotter has a Teflon strip that the blade cuts against then try replacing the Teflon. There's a good chance that the blade cut too deep on part of the Teflon and now the Teflon surface no longer has an even depth.
