  • Let’s swap out that hole filled tank with a more solid tank. We’re gonna change the sending unit while we got it apart. Then….. she’s ready for her first road test. Keep an eye out for the next video

I love when a new vid comes up for this old girl. My first “car” love was my moms 59 Kingswood. My dad surprised her with it when I was born. We had it till I was 7 when someone rear ended her at high speed when she was stopped. I was so upset for months after the flatbed took it away. Seeing this one being resurrected surely hits home for me. Thank you BigRed for sharing your , and her, story. Looking forward to the first ride video. Hope it’s a long one !!

I did some investigating. Paint code 910A is for Frost Blue. Trim code 839 is for blue and grey cloth and vinyl. The best I could do with the assembly plant is maybe F is for Flint MI. The license plate frame is from O.R. Hahn Chrysler Plymouth in Santa Ana CA Orange County. My neighbor had 1973 Valiant she bought from O.R. Hahn and she said it was a demo model. So the dealer was there until at least 1973. I'm guessing it was sold as a used car from the dealer. Santa Ana has had Guaranty Chevrolet back until the 40s 50s in the same location on 17th street. It's still in business at the same location. A while back the Tustin auto Center was created off the freeway. GM asked Guaranty to move their dealership to this Center and Guaranty did not want to move. So GM let Guaranty operate Tustin Chevrolet for a while. It has closed since then. So maybe your Parkwood was sold new at Guaranty as it was around at that time.
