thats a 56ci motor so gotta be 1986-newer. whats the model #? port side swivel bracket
You loop your tranny lines ? And how’d you do the heater core lines , cause it feeds all the way to the back of the van. Mines a 05 dodge caravan. Thanks
I had to man up , I drove my 59 Kingswood for 25 years and I miss her so mutch Buffo
You should open an OCC, atleast your bike would run! You have inspired me to find an early 2000's Suzuki C50 or C90 and chop it up. I think that bike was made for it because of the whole lower center of gravity design. They put the battery below the radiator and the gas tank is false and the tank is below the seat. Should lend well to minimizing the bulk up top.
Does this apply to a 1990 454 SS?
I weld a putty knife blade to a Sawzall blade worked great. And you can do it by your self
Please excuse my dumb question but how do you know how to "match the numbers?"
Now that’s a awesome wife being home be cream for her husband
Skids are on backwards to
THANK YOU
I just got an Evinrude 70. Owner said it was running fine, then it wasn't. Gonna check head and water flow. Maybe fuel pump and filter? Looks like a good motor
My 1957 Fiesta wagon sat in the back of a farmers hay barn for 16 years last driven in 1969 before I bought it in 1985. I still own it. It is one of the best cars I have ever owned.
I love to see old wagons back on the road. We need to save all of them we can they are a vanishing breed. Having been replaced by minivans and SUV's. I see the GM pats sharing started in the later fifties as my 1957 Oldsmobile Fiesta has the same window cranks and inside door handles.
Station wagons are still being made, they just call them "Crossovers" nowadays. Much uglier looking than the old ones though, in my opinion.
Your birds are out of control
What about that lumina
That’s he’s daily driver. Lol
Beautiful Impala, they have always been a favorite of mine!
Beautiful old car
Beautiful flat top ‘59 project! Looking forward to the restoration process and putting that old girl back on the road.
Old Chevy never dies they still want to run and drive
That is a beautiful Car. Love the patina
Worthless video. You don't even tell us wtf your doing
Body is nice and straight
Love the wagon ! Im not a huge Chev fan , but love this one . What are your plans? I hope you restore it and not hotrod it .
My '85 70hp did not spit either... so I did what you did and unclogged it... good to go!! Thanks from SC.
I remember finding one of these on a trip to utah 7 years ago, in an open pole barn. I believe it’s still there. Why do they call them flat tops? Are there two types of 4 door impalas?
Yes. There’s a bubble top and then the flat top. I have a vid up when I rescued 4 of these 2 of them bubble, a wagon and then the fourth is this flattop
put some crazy V8 big-block in it🤪.. Great car👍
I wonder if it's sold next in Santa Anna California this what the frames say
trés joli break station wagon !
on se croirait dans la série des envahisseurs !
where you all from? looks like Missouri?
Illinois
I was close. My dad was from Monroe city Missouri and when visiting as a kid from Seattle he said we will drive over the bridge from Hannibal to Illinois just so you can get a pennant at the gift shop. Only time I set foot there😆
Aww 😭❤💖
Fluid/throttle pressure [kickdown] lever/modulator. Neat wagon. Wonderful grille and bumpers!
Absolutely beautiful to me nothing is more beautiful than the 58 to the 64 Chevrolet Impalas long and low and damn a beautiful car
oh great..yet another old ford swapped to a chevy motor...well that truck is ruined ...why not look for a 302 or 351?????....hell a 460 even..anything but a chevy ..i dont get why you chevy guys go out and get a ford and swap it over..if you's like chevy so much....buy one.. .. and i'll bet there are more 9 inchers in GM vehicles and mustang 2 front ends in GM products ..then there are chevy motors in fords
I appreciate ur input but this was given to me and I know GM and have plenty of them. Just makes financial and time line sense

I have had similar extraction problems. Old cars that sat that long, all tires are flat, & brakes are locked up. Winch won't pull it up. Try to inflate tires as much/if you can. Use sledge Hammer to beat/smack the rims several times. This shock, tends to break free the Brake shoes from drum(s). Wheels may then roll ,again. Attach cable , with chain SLING,to solid part of frame. Back up close, with tension on cable . Leave TOW VEHICLE in reverse, Driver at the controls. Swab your steel trailer deck with oil. Let the winch pull the trailer under the car. Apply a little throttle , while in reverse and at the same time drawing the winch cable in. Steel deck trailers are best for this technique. You are not pulling the car onto the trailer, as much as you are pulling trailer UNDER the car.
I’ve tried this technique with tow vehicle being neutral. That’s how I loaded the 52 ford
Those came equipped with the 348 V8 !
Yes sir. She’s locked up but she’s getting rebuilt by her new owner
Why aren't I surprised, that a Chevy 350 started right up ?? Nature of the beast! Can't wait to see what ya do with it.
Right. First step. Cleaning carb and flushing tank. Keep an eye vids will be up eventually. Soo many projects goin on at once. Lol
I just bought that original one you were trying, that was lower profile. The spectre brand that sells the screw adaptor also sells a spacer kit for like 9 bucks you have to buy to get it clearance. Awesome vid super informative
You have about what I'm starting with. I'm using a jag front and rear suspension under mine. I'll be posting videos also
That's a pretty nice truck. It will make a great foundation for your build. You gonna try to get the flatty running ?? I hope it's not cracked.
Not for this build. Saving it tho. Buddy wants it for a winter project. He don’t have the garage for large projects
New to your channel watching from sunny Hermanus South Africa 🇿🇦 😎 thanks for sharing your video.

How’d you move your computer?
I unhook battery!! Then I unplug computer, put it on battery tray, reroute the wires to it, then spray foam and zip tie it down
VERY COOL!! I had a 59 Parkwood wagon back in 1981. 283 V8 2bbl. Manual 3 speed. Ran well. Good transportation!
Is the skeleton in the junk pile your recent customer??? LOL
Lol. He didn’t pay his bill
What happened to it?
It got sold to a gentleman in Virginia
Nice job
If you ever do that again remove the bolt and latch for the hood latch and I know my 3/8” drive torque wrench fits rot in there on that bottom right head bolt. 19 ft lbs., 228 in lbs.
Thank you. Noted.
Great video. Did you record the open compact wire?
