  • In this adventure we look at Salt Lane's WW2 air raid shelters for factory workers, the Nine Elms cement kiln, and Cliffe Fort. We first fly our drone over the fort to view the impressive structure from above. The rest of the video takes a more informal vlog format to our usual content - this place has already been documented in full online before so we instead decided to show you our trip in summer 2020.
    Shot on the Mavic Pro 2 drone and GoPro Hero 6

    I'm quite jealous of you guys. The last time I walked through there in the mid 70s, the ground level wasn't flooded, and in fact there was a tent set up! I think I donated my photos to your site. Sad to see how much it has deteriorated.

      Amazing stuff, sad that it’s become so flooded in that time. If you run the SpaceWarp site then you did indeed and those pictures are still very much welcome, we are currently making a new website and have already included many of them so thanks again👌

    14:39 This is the sighting station for the Brenan Torpedo. It was sighted from the turret and the wiring went down to the lower level to release the torpedo.

      They should add a plaque or something there shame its just been left like that wouldn't take much to restore it

    • @lorisarvendu
      @lorisarvendu Před 3 lety

      @@Gaggle_of_gays There would be no point in adding a plaque as it is on private land not accessible to the public.
