Hey what's up! You should post of video of how they cut after the modification. I'm wondering if they'll still cut the same.

Genius fix bro!! Saved my Gold cordless Andis clippers perfectly!

That’s a good trick, but also put two pieces of rubber over the two prongs that the cutting blade goes on. And this should do this themselves. I don’t understand why they don’t. I put a similar mechanism of a quieter clipper to see what happens.

wow when andis does this and give it more battery life I'll buy one. and it will be the best selling clipper... ever

Does this add a detrimental load to the motor, causing more friction and therefore warring out the motor prematurely or does it still float without hindrance within the body?

After one hour of work ,this isolated tape is cutting off and pieces of it will be inside clipper . Best mode of fix this loud to change original edge to ceramic .Don't thank me👍

It’s a electrical tape bro 😂 it can’t just heat and melt like you’re thinking you’ll be good but the ceramic blade is the best way to not have to keep doing this process

i think this is just a remedy last for a week because if put an oil to the blade tape will come off

@@will_e_beamen the 76 were supposed to replace my octanes. I’ve got both. After filling the gear area with a whole tube of grease it’s much quieter and I have no complaints with them as of now

Thank you, I haven’t got one because of the noise, how is it compared to wahl senior with your fix? They sound as if they had a magnetic motor (corded one) with your fix or am I wrong?

If you were to use the corded andis clippers and kno how silent they are..you can compare to that. I am working on making a rubberized piece instead of the plastic abs . So my plan is to permantely solve the noise issue

@@BarberFaded I should have asked for the corded one, good comparison. This seems really good then, my issue with cordless clippers is noise and power. Do you think by removing the noise it doesn’t reduce the power?
