    They get louder over time ! Especially after using blade cleaner

    For the corded Masters to keep them from overheating, you have to temper them by laying them on a towel and letting them run for about 1 to 2 hours...they'll never get hot again...in barber school we would leave them running in our break room for the entire day...lol

    I like this real talk review bro. Definitely subscribing. As far as the clippers go I just can't with the cordless masters. They have a super strong motor and do have that extra lever play but they sound like they got a broken transmission 😂 and that tiny battery is bound to have a small life spand with all that power.

    • @MaineCutz
      @MaineCutz  Před 3 lety +1

      Appreciate the support bro! Glad to have you join the family 💪🏾 but bro that’s exactly how I felt about the clipper lol they aren’t as loud as the video projects them to be, but you’re absolutely right about the battery lol before I double up I’m going to see how long they last lol.

    I like the cordless masters. I feel like it’s a trade off. The cordless definitely have more power than the corded. In order for you to have that power, you’re going to have to deal with some loudness, and the battery won’t last as long. But they definitely made sure it can cut through anything.

    • @MaineCutz
      @MaineCutz  Před 3 lety +1

      Absolutely. It’s just hard to adjust when you’re used to the corded masters being so quiet 😂 but they’re definitely a great clipper man forsure.

    • @wdowning12
      @wdowning12 Před 3 lety +1

      MaineCutz definitely an adjustment. If they were quieter they’d be the perfect clipper hands down.

    I prefer corded clippers. I got corded seniors and recently bought the cordless seniors. I prefer my corded seniors because of how quiet they are. Those corded clippers just sound cheap. I’m keeping my cordless senior for those occasions where the cordless is more convenient. I’m about to buy the corded masters just to keep it OG.

    • @MaineCutz

      Na I feel you 💯 cordless are definitely more convenient but it’s hard to beat the OG clippers

    Well I love mine. Don’t care how loud they are. I have the Phat Master corded, regular Master corded. And I have the cordless. Didn’t zero gap them. When to get the gold cordless Master for my birthday. Definitely gona zero gap them shits. If you love barbering you just got to have or collect clippers. Masters were my first self defense weapon. Beat the shit out a robber with the corded heavyweight champ.

      @@MaineCutz ya ull get over the sound real quick. Even my clients noticed how smoothly their hair was being cut. They actually asked me about the clipper i was using. They said they usually experience pulling from other barbers' clippers but not with mine. Made for a more relaxing experience.💪🙌Andis master for the win. Butterrrrrr🍞

      I have three pair of cordless fade , standard and phat love them , I also have a few pair of corded. I notice with my cordless they got a bit quiet after some use, one pair still a lil loud but nothing to annoying.

    • @GarrickWhite
      @GarrickWhite Před 3 lety

      By the way you can also put a piece of cushion like wahl corded clipper come with in where the pin meet the blade and cut down on the noise they produce

    • @MaineCutz
      @MaineCutz  Před 3 lety

      They definitely aren’t as loud as I excepted but bro I can’t lie I miss the traditional master sound lol. Just being able to hear nothing but the hair being cut is so much better than hearing nothing but the clipper.

    Thanks for the great review man! Curious if you've ever tried the ceramic blade on either set. I've been a corded Wahl Senior guy for a while, and would LOVe to use the corded Master. Its the traditional build quality that the Wahls just dont have anymore. My only concern is the ability to cut heavy hair....I feel like the ceramic blade may solve the issues that I've heard it having with that.

    • @MaineCutz
      @MaineCutz  Před 2 lety +1

      Appreciate you for tuning in bro 💯. I’ve never tried a ceramic blade other than on a trimmer & really wasn’t a fan of it. I’ve never had a problem cutting bulk with the Andis corded master at all the only downside of the master is that it’s heavy which I guess to a certain extent is a good and a bad thing.

    I’m just waiting for you to be disappointed when you turn those loud clippers on lol. I barely use mine. Don’t use those during conversations, frightened children or people who just don’t like loud clippers. They should’ve made the cordless ones quiet like the corded ones. Don’t do the fade blade I hate it it’s definitely too fine. I just wish they made a gold taper blade
