I want to feel that on the road. How it goes from like 500hp then jumps up to 900hp in like a second. WOW!!!!!! I just know I probably never will. If I ever had the money to get one of your motors I would. Something you can beat on forever and it will last! Great work, you guys know your stuff!
Welcome back Tom, from a select group of Australian fans. Hats off to you Tom !!
glad to see you going again! Hope your recovery went well
good to see you're back Tom.
hope all is well
love it man glad your ok! look forward to watching your videos!
Nice to see the f bomb making some noise at last 😊
loves the videos love the burnout and donuts keep em coming
Glad youre back and at it making videos!!
Omg glad your back
F bomb. sweet, hopefully we'll see it on motor trend again also. welcome back tom
Welcome back!!
Just so AWESOME to have Tom back!!! Love every video man👍🏻
Yes, I agree. I recently got a second chance myself after a nasty motorcycle accident. I have to say that you need to make EVERY day count, and appreciate every one you get. Glad to have you with us Tom.
I wasn't to see more videos like the ending. that was nice
I had to pouse and sub n like at, about 30 seconds really awesomeness , wanna stick that into tha ol 76'r 4x4 Jimmy with me , lol cool vid wicked awesome motor
Nice!!!
WAHOO. nice motor!
Wish I had this job!
I would love to see what you could do with a IA2 block or MR1 block with edelbrock pro series heads
Tom you should call up Freiburger and tell him to make more videos of himself doing that in the Fbomb. That car does not get enough video time!
My 79 Camaro would certainly shine in all its rattle can flat black with that motor!! Prolly never but love the dream
are you guys the same Nelson racing engines that built Dennis Moody's cosworth engine for his gartrac Sierra in the UK ? ? cheers
Wow that's a pump with nitrous+!
Tom. Thanks for brining the heat. Nice Vid.
I want to put a 632 in my 87 Caddy brougham Make it a sleeper . Tranny , shaft ,back to built axle with a hidden roll cage .
Great video makes me wish i had built my bottom end stronger. By the way does Friburger know about this?
Damn Son!!
You got a love the F bomb that is one bad ass Camaro
Freiberger was probably cringing and smiling at the same time damn F-bomb
I hope every can hear the turbos and blow off valves on the F- Bomb. That car hasn't been completely switched over just for this video. It makes something on the order of 2500hp dual turbo setup
Will that engine work in my Honda?
Hopefully you reply. Do you run Evans Waterless Coolant in your builds?
Does freiburger know about this
What's the ticket tom ? I'm interested in one? What heads and crank?
the magic button
Funny I gotta come over here to see the F bomb but can't see it make smoke over on the motor trend channel
Looks like you owe Freiburger some tires.
Dustin Walden
Was coming down to say something very similar! 👍👍
More like Freiburger owes Tom another few hours of labor :D
Great ending to the vid, a shame about the camera work though- we missed half the burnout!!!
wait that motor isnt in the f bomb now is it? the F bomb still sounded turbo during those doughnuts. either way that nitrous hit was awesome! ! !😍
We need a nre vrs steve Morris shootout!
On of the coolest things is a car emerging from its own tyre smoke like "the shadow" 1994 alec Baldwin you remember. Awesome
In Freiburger's F-Bomb no less!
torque on tap at all times
@5:29 What popped on the F Bomb?
how much for this set up
Tom Nelson builds some pretty rowdy 632 BBC motors nothing sounds better in the dyno room than that
What is CARB legal? Lol but seriously, how do you do it? I can't even get a catback exhaust for my car.
Hey! Is that Friebergers Camaro you're kicking the piss out of at the end of this video?
Yes his shop built it.
that went from 400hp to 800hp in a blink.
awesome mate, but you need to brush up on your skid technique, my grandmother does skids like that on her electric scooter on the way to the pension office... lol
what's the life on a lot of these motors granted not making it a full time drag motor
A lot. Its an 850 hp motor with a 200 shot on top.
With a one kit small shot and running clean? It'll last a while depending on how often you use the bottle but a Nitrous motor will always need more freshening up than other applications.
Team ACG these things definitely aren't running ragged edge
More than a while I'm guessing
unless I'm mistaken, this same motor is also available as twin turbo up to 2500 hp, and even then it is built with reliability in mind.
did you see how quickly it made 950 without even breathing hard? this thing would probably outlive a Honda civic
I would have to assume that Tom uses only the finest in the reciprocating assembly (being it is a Dart block with Brodie heads). It should go a long time, even with a 200 shot. This combination should go a while, -even if it is a drag motor. This is a good example of a big-cube normally-aspirated motor with all the good stuff integrated into it. Brand names aside, it is always the sum of the parts that equals the result. That is not to say that it is inexpensive, because good stuff costs money, -but for dollars spent, and simplicity, this package is really hard to argue with, whether you are a fan of any of the big three or not. Reliability really falls on the user and tuner (as most damage occurs from incorrect tuning). Most nitrous motors are hurt from advanced timing or running lean, so the lifespan of ANY engine depends on its operator.
I thought the F bomb had turbo's? Why NOS now?
This wasn't the motor for the F-bomb.
I think that was some gratuitive burnouts at the end.
Oh, yeah I watched it again... Cool
how much cost wise
hash glass 38k
smurf juice!!!!
Hey are you guys hiring test drivers. If so I'm your man.
I'd order one today if I had the $$$...
hey tom this is a bad ass f bomb now was mean before but holy shot it's even meaner now
I'm telling frieburger
V-tec or nah?
lmao ripping the f bomb
What's a ballpark cost of a motor like this?
blipco5 what he said, ballpark.
blipco5 a new house
+MyLonewolf25 Worth it :-)
blipco5 jk probably around 50k ish or less
Personally if I'm already spending big bucks I want a 1k ci sonny race engine
I want one SO BADLY
Lonewolf....ima a gear head from way back but I'm just dreaming here. I actually drive a four cylinder Accord :-( With a CVT :-(
anybody can do donuts ....how fast is it ... lets see it man
NOTICE: NRE has topnotch machine work done.... Virtually NO BLOW BY ! Wide open, then a lil N0s & still no blow by. My SBC stroker from Bishop-Buehl Racing Engines Was the same way. New OEM 87 octane engines have more blow by.
if I built a nitrous motor I going to prug the NOS thru the motor.
What Prius driver put thumbs down?
tom if give anything to even have your worst motor
Yea, "The F-Bomb", what ever happened to that car? Frieberger snowballed it for no reason. Supposed to be the fastest "do everything car" and it sits somewhere with flat tires and stale fuel. I only bust balls about this cause I have no money to do cool stuff, and that guy has plenty of cool things. Do something cool with the cool thing you have so people can live vicariously through you man. Do it for Dale!
There a reason why no one uses his motors in the drag racing scene ? Only for the rich I guess
Few people here use his combos
I love the f bomb
This is 100 years old tech if not earlier. It sounds ok but why would you?? Google when overhead cam happened google when multiple valves were used per cylinder. Google forced induction. Just have a look into the past please..... when I mean the past I mean cutting edge internal combustion technology.
Every 4 stroke IC engine has had multiple valves per cylinder. Intake and exhaust.
Dude recording on the burnout part sucks!!! Lol
Lol seriously
ya but what about the ford ecoboost LOL gayyyyy
Nice motor, useless skid. Lynchy can give u sum tips!
Has an NRE engine ever won an actual race? Should that be required to use "racing engines"? Why haven't you changed your name to Nelson Burnout machines yet? People don't race with your stuff bruh. Haven't you figured that out by now?
another boring video of a motor
Come on stop filming with a potato ,your work is lessened by the crap film work.
sound is very generic. Doesnt sound mean at all. Sounds tame. Another awesome engine in another terrible car.
That's WEAK for NITROUS and 632c.i. you can get that on NUTTZ alone. I give this combo 👎👎👎 X(
XP QUAGMIREXP XP wheres your combo?
it's a mild motor with a 200 shot..wtf do you expect?
