How to Recover YOUR YouTube Videos that YouTube Removed

- This video teaches you how to recover YOUR CZcams videos that were removed by CZcams for violating terms of service. This is not a method on recovering videos that you yourself have deleted.
Earlier today, I uploaded a bunch of videos that had been removed BY CZcams. I thought that those videos had been removed forever!
Requirements:
1) The CZcams video must still exist in your dashboard.
Steps:
2) Visit your CZcams video as .com/embed/VideoID
3) Open Google Web Console, go to the Network tab, then play the CZcams video
4) In the Google Web Console, right click the Name of the largest Size column entry, copy and visit the link
5) Hit the download button to download the 360p version of the video

What do we do if the video isn't in our dashboard? I'm assuming youtube took it down, and it's over a year old. So bummed! I worked really hard on this video and it was an important one. Help!
It's not working for me. there is no option to hit play. Just the :/ face. Mine was also removed due to copyright
You are an absolute LEGEND. I had a video that was taken down in 2006 and I had no idea I could ever see it again, considering the original was lost in a HDD failure!
This still works as of Apr 30 2023, it's slightly different however. I had to go into CZcams -> Your Channel -> Content, then click on the video from the list to get to the "Video Details" page - then open Chrome Dev Tools, click on the actual video it'self to give it focus, then from that point it's the same as the video. CZcams makes CZcamsrs suffer for their own decisions how do you remove someone's video without giving him a chance to retrieve it and download it back without removing it, Making the owner cry!this happened to me,I cryed homie!

And the worst thing is that they keep the video on their servers for years!!! It's your property, if they remove it, at least provide you a way to keep it locally on your PC! It's basically theft in this state!!

Damn. My deleted videos were like a time-machine to me. I e-mailed CZcams how much I cared about getting them back, as I only had misleading words in the descriptions. This way I can have a nostalgie trip for the evening. About 20+ videos got deleted and I already watched 3 of them using this method. The videos age about 4+ years ago. So thank you very much for this

Same. They removed a video from 7 years ago that was very dear to me. There was nothing inappropriate about it. They could have privatized it instead of stealing a memory from me.
They didn't steal anything, they just reminded you how incredibly dumb it is not to keep your own original backups.

Worked for me!! Thanks so much! I couldn't get it to work from the "embed" url - but I did go to the CZcams Studio and I could do the same steps (from the "developer tools") from the video editing page. Was able to recover the video from there. Thank you!

update! in Aug 2024 i had to go to youtube studio and go to the warning tab there where it has you review your video to see where you violated their policies. from there i followed sam's instructions to go to developer tools> network> click size 2x > copy link under the name tab> open in new tab & download! Thanks a bunch!
I can't believe this still works. I know some people say that it doesn't but maybe they're doing it wrong. I got back a video I thought I would never see again because youtube had the only copy of it and it was deleted for violating their terms of service. So happy to have it back !

You really should save an offline copy of your video. You can't trust youtube. They will delete videos if they are music, movies, or TV shows and the copyright holder complains. That happens to me when I save links to vids and I go back to them and they are deleted because of a copyright claim. Sometimes the person's account is banned. There are other sites which might be more lax and not delete videos, like Vimeo and Internet Archive.

Hey @MicrowaveSam I can get to the embed screen but once I go to the neworks tab there is a gray fuzzy screen that says "This Video is Unavailable". Do you know how I can overcome this and get my video back?

Thank you! This seems to only work for videos that were removed by CZcams for terms of service, like you said. It also only seems to work if you are logged in as the person who uploaded the video, meaning you cannot recover other people's videos from your account. Still, this is very useful information and helped me get back an old video of mine. Thanks again!

Why aren't some people keeping their videos stored locally? Geesh, you'd think they'd know that.
I guess that it was no accident that this video was uploaded on the 1st of April.
It works, trust me, just under two conditions I stated above: The video must have been removed specifically for terms of service violation (meaning CZcams didn't really delete it from their servers, they just hid it as best they could), and you must be logged in as the person who originally uploaded the video. I tested it on an old video of mine that met both conditions and it worked like a charm.
I think thair are Videos made for April Fools and Videos Downloaded on to CZcams on April 1st.

One of my older videos has been found by someone and reported for "Violent criminal organizations" _only_ because it had nasheed music in the background. Despite the suspicious date of upload, this method actually works and I've been able to recover the whole video!
However, as Santtuinen's comment says, it'll only work when you preview your video in CZcams Studio *and* when it's still available. After receiving a warning or a strike due to violation of terms, CZcams gives you seven days to watch that video before it's gone for good (or not).
Don't ask what was I thinking when I added nasheed to the video. Truth is, I thought it was fitting, and I don't even do that anymore. Sheesh, 2K views down the drain...

hey!! if it isn't working for you, try this, just worked for me. you follow every step of the video until you get the full screened video with the play button. you play it, then immediately pause it, then go to video quality and choose 360p. mine was at 720p and it just popped an error. then press play and that's it, it starts playing

Iv just got my video back that was deleted for censorship, it was about the rothschilds.haha I followed this video but when I pushed play it still said it was deleted, I can never remember how to get to the video editor but what I did was...
click on any of your videos, then click the edit button below the video to get to the studio, then click the Return to channel arrow (next to the video name), then I scrolled down and click on the deleted video I was looking for, on the next page theres a small video screen on the right, I pushed play on it and I can watch the video there.
What I did then was click File, (at the top of my browser, I use Firefox) then Save page as...,
then when the save box opens click the Save as type dropdown and choose Web Page, Complete (htm html), then choose save destination and click save.
go to where you saved it and open the folder that just downloaded, and there should be a video called videoplayback.mp4 (thats what my one was called) its very low quality but it plays on gom player perfect.

Try logging into CZcams Studio, open developer tools the same way they did in the video, click network and then at the top you can filter the type of files you get. I clicked on media to filter only media files. Next, open your “content” thru CZcams Studio and click on the deleted video. In your developer tools you should see a file come up, mine was called “videoplayback?expire....”right click that to copy and open in a new tab. It worked for me, hope it works for you!

There's another way you can do it to any video you still haven't deleted of course that was removed by youtube, I'd say mine was from GTA RP and you guys must imagine how those things go sometimes, it was removed because of inappropriate content (hate speech? even though it was just cursing) but nonetheless, it's bad, so this method didn't work for me but what I did was the same but from youtube's studio page, you can play the video from the small window on the right side it just gives you a "request URL:" you just copy that and paste and boom. Sadly quality does only stay 360p but it's better than nothing, I just want to keep mine for memories.

Yes, you can reupload the videos from your video creator program again, but often times, you might not have the video on your computer at all. You might have deleted the video from your computer completely.

I just don't agree the drawbacks of youtube playlists, nor do I agree with illegally downloading content before it is unfairly taken down, privatised or deleted.. maybe if youtube gave us a more cloud like service to keep playlists of content we do not own or we didn't intend copyright to as we just want to continue viewing the content without our rights as viewers bypassed.

Using windows 10 hp laptop doesn't seem to work I get the link after developer tools and takes me to where it would download but there's absolutely nothing

Still works in regards to showing the video in full quality compared to the 360p preview from the creator dashboard. Downloading on the other hand is not possible anymore. Although I do have 2 work arounds for you all; IDM being able to download any video from any webpage or using software like OBS to screen record while you play the video

Ahoyhoy There, Fellow CZcamsrino! I would like some advice .PLEASE HELP! I work hard on my videos. I always have to delete them from my camera so that three is space, so that means I can't watch any of MY finished videos once I put them on CZcams. They always buffer every two seconds when I go to watch something of mine on my own device. I have my one App that takes up all the space on my SD Card and I'm not sure if I can recover my five years of progress on the game, so I will not mess with the SD Card, ever! I need to know why CZcams is Possibly choosing what seems to be random videos of mine, which are nowhere to see but on CZcams, because , as I said before, I always have to delete long videos from my camera for space. So they take a random video,( it seems that don't mess with ones that , out of context, they could be offensive, or eben the ones of tv shows that I do, no, they take the clever ones of my pets, that I work so hard on to get the animals to do those things that I catch on Tape, and it's not even offensive or tv related, they just want to be jerkasses, I think.
I attended a training program & downloaded sessions using CZcams premium.
The moment the trainer took out my access to the content on their site, I lost access to the videos on CZcams.
Is there anyway I can access & watch those videos on CZcams?
I paid more than $3000 to the weekends training school over 5 months, & could not review them. The instructor would remove access 1 or 2 weeks after each weekend on average. I requested him to give me access because I was not able to find enough time during the week, but he would not heed & retort back that how would he be able to do his busy if he allowed it.

Nah didnt work. Managed to get it work when u go CZcams Studio, find ur video that is deleted. U can play it in the small screen before that open the same developer tool and Network tab. Play the video and copy the link and download it.

Doesn't work because somehow my original video was automatically converted to a short after it was deleted.. It was an unlisted video from 8 years ago, I don't even understand how it could get flagged all of a sudden and for what!?
