Yep, we're ready for Montenegro. We're hoping for the same gorgeous coastline abs mountains but with fewer people and less expense!
What pans out is a mixed bag of weather (with attitude), beauty and epic off-grid camping.

You could've bought a low mileage Man HX 60 RHD....with HD Aircon and more road presence than a jumbo......imagine barreling down the autobahn in one of these beauts.
Maybe, having spent 25 years in the army I'm more than familiar with the HX range, yes they’re extremely capable off-road and an easy drive with that auto box, but trying to get parts coupled with its diagnostics software in South Armerica (for example), just did'nt appeal.
I also want a cut-through and didn't fancy the hassle of resiting the rad etc.
If I was going to buy one, I'd have an HX80 in LHD
Hey both, great vid as always. I said to Paul did he remember the storm the last time we were in Croatia? It was wild- I like a summer storm myself 😊 can see why you left the campsite though - far too packed for comfort. Are you going to Kosovo- it’s an interesting place to visit ?
Thanks Amanda, probably not on this trip as we want to visit Serbia, and having a Kosovo stamp can cause an issue or prevent entry (possibly maybe).
I know it sounds ridiculous but we're up against time, we're meeting Izzy's son in Corfu in late September and then other happenings are err... happening 😉
But yes, it looks interesting so we will definitely come back at some point 👍🏻😀

I’m blown away by your pictures and videos. Your truck seems to be going strong. What parts have you replaced so far. You’re doing hard core off roading and I assume you have gone thru many bearings. Just curious.
Thank you and appreciated, we replaced some rear suspension components last year, hub seals and a few hoses and five tyres, but that's it.
The truck only has 60k miles from new and has had an easy life until we bought it, so it's been over serviced and we don't abuse it asit's our home on wheels.
That's the beauty of an older pre electric MAN, basic but they just keep on going. Thanks 😊

I think I've only ever mentioned it on the truck show round (one of our first videos), it's 8.4t gross vehicle weight so unfortunately, no you'd need a cat C license.

I would be curious to know how much you spend on average every month. Do you have a budget? Between diesel, camping fees, tolls, repairs. data and food & wine as well as one-off costs like dashcams it must add up.
It really depends on the country we're in, we try to avoid using campsites generally as we're self-sufficient.
