- We all know life has a way of chucking things at you, but it's usually when you least expect it. This time though we're stranded and going nowhere fast, we've little choice but to keep our fingers crossed and wait it out.
Thereafter it's all about more great park ups, Izzy gets a bath and we explore Slovakia’s wine region...purely in the name of research you understand 😉🍷

We love the idea and "never say never"... transiting through the Hook of Holland is our preferred crossing so hopefully we can take you up on your offer (if you're not travelling).

Thoroughly enjoyed this one both. There’s something really nice I think about traveling out of season. Even though the weather is hit and miss . You found a lovely little campsite by the looks of it there- sauna and hot shower heaven. 😊

Thank you, travelling out of season is our tonic, I know it sounds terrible but I love late September, all the kids are long back at school and most of the late summer tribe have left. You know the Craic 😉

I travel with a lithium jump pack that easily starts Diesel engines up to 7 liters....used it several times to start stranded folks...well worth the cost IMHO. Love your videos...subscribed!

I carry a set of HD jump leads which is great when you have someone to jump off.
I've no doubt it’s a great bit of kit and indeed when we first set off on our full-time travels we carried everything (just in case).
The reality was, we never used this type of gear and off-loaded more and more over the years as we needed the wine storage🍷😉.
Maybe it's time to revisit, particularly as it's more compact and efficient than ever 👍🏻

Thanks Paul, yes we enjoy the odd glass (but all joking aside), we love the educational side whether it's Sherry, Port, Balsamic Vinegar or Vino we just love these old places which are usually paired with fascinating people.

Anyway, thank you - always appreciate your feedback, I'm not sure how it's going to look moving forward, there’ll obviously be a bit of truck build, I've still got a few informational type vids (costs etc) but time is now the enemy, so we'll see. 🙏😀
We had a similar situation on our trip to turkey. Batteries were getting worse over time to the point would not start in the morning. Not sure how easy it is but our truck has been wired up so we can reverse the flow from the on board batteries to the truck in an emergency to get the truck started. Saved the day in our case until we could replace 👍
Hi Andrew, we too were wired up and could use the leisure batteries, but I really didn’t want to do that as it isn’t ideal with Lithium, I'm sure they would’ve been fine but expensive to replace.
I've since bought a Durite Booster pack which is excellent and not hugely expensive. 🙏😀

Great video again. We camped in Slovakia in February / March, but struggled to find anywhere open. Also the ground was so wet that wild camping was risky as hell and often there were loggers on the trails and many were impassible. The snow drifts were really difficult too, often rendering P4N wild spots inaccessible. Tescos was a surprise to us - did they accept your club card?

Yeah, I can imagine it's pretty bleak in Feb/Mar.
Exciting and beautiful in some respects but the reality is high risk and exposed to the elements.
We haven’t had a Clubcard like forever 😂😂 🍷🙏.
Enjoy your videos as usual. When are you going to start the new build? That may help grow your channel exponentially as many viewers are interested in following builds religiously as a learning process. It a shame your channel is a slow grow considering the quality and diversity of videos.

I think your phrase (slow grow) is sadly exactly right and I hope it helps grow it, the niche is incredibly small and it's hard to know what people want - maybe a change is a good thing 🤞😀
