the squares characters in names on PC are just a lack of letter fonts in COTW. like if you use symbols or foreign characters in your name it shows up as a square. so that's not a cheating thing. the PC community def got a load more cheaters after the free epic game deal though, at least that is what I noticed back then.
Hey new here to the channel but wanted to share my personal experience with modding myself. I have done it, there are files that you can download from nexus mods one in particular called animal population changer. And another is called WeMod which you can run around fast or change your xp cash freeze animals etc but with the animal population changer what it does is it creates a copy folder of the animal population and you can adjust the settings to only have 1 great one on the map or even just a couple of diamonds so it looks legit but sometimes it’s not also so I’m just letting you know that even if a multiplayer server that is modded sometimes you can’t even tell if it is and I’m being honest about it and about myself included. But yes you can go crazy overboard with the population changer as well and do parties and such. But generally I only use my backup save file for the modding part and mainly use it for photography purposes. But yes if using it for getting multiple great ones it does ruin the fun too. I don’t multiplayer my server at all but keep it to myself unless I’m doing it in friends only mode with a friend I have but that’s as far as I will go with multiplayer. But yeah I wanted to let you know about how some modders could adjust the settings to only have 1 great one or diamond for each animal so yeah. I’m also a content creator and I told my followers that I wouldn’t mod or cheat the game in my grinds or that I would quit making content before I did that so that’s what I promised to them and continue to promise them. So yeah I just wanted to be honest about it and how it works etc
Personally i have modded my pc account slightly. HOWEVER I HAVE A REASON. I legitimately made it to level 60 on PS4 when the game came out, i played it for a solid 2 yearsnstraight, found jaxybeard when he was around 2k subs and was supee into the game, the whole nine yards, but i played on my fathers console, and i dont have one myself when i moved out, i tried to grind for levels once i got it for pc but being so used to having everything unlocked it made the game painful and not fun and my adhd just wanted to be able to play the game i was used to. so i found a mod that brought me back up to level 60. Thats all i’ve done, ive made all my own money and unlocked all my own weapons, and even then ive still yet to replace my 5 or 6 diamonds from my ps4 days.
I'm so glad I havent experienced a modded server, I think it takes away the excitement of seeing something rare when you've already seen it 30 times in some random multiplayer server.
I just think it's unfortunate it's so prevalent in multiplayer, if it's single player you do you, but a new player may find one of these servers and ruins the entire experience of the game.
I think u know lucasso (on the disc and in lives streams) but he was in a server got max money ect and had to restart because of joining a multiplayer server
i was cheating once but on a private game and i made a new character 2 days later plaing on cheats is soooo boring trip without a point (sorry for my english)

I'm on console and have never seen stuff like this in-game. But I know on PC it's a lot worse.
This was certainly a showcase of what to be on the lookout for for pc players
its basically is ridiculously easy to cheat with WeMod
