I was wondering how many whitetail do you have to kill to have them respawn in that zone im having trouble with them respawning in that usual drink, feed, and sleep zone I usually kill the biggest two in the group (lvl 2 minor are all I shoot) I leave the level ones. I’ve waited for a couple of days for them to respawn nothing just same ones from then.
I also love how you said baskit rack butits a kluster rack i tryied telling you when you where live lol

Crow do you know why when I go to my moose zones on Medved, most of them don’t even show up?
Likely just late, its normal. Only workaround is to reset time within their render distance till they show up
In my fallow grind its crazy yesterday i killed 30 deer and got 6 diamonds and a piebald also in my combined 800 kill grind i have 25 diamond fallow, a max weght piebald diamond fallow, 7 piebalds and a albino congrats on those awsome whitetails
how do ya tell how many you’ve killed in a grind is there a stat page you can go to or do ya just count them all yourself
I've also had some crazy luck. I just got a super rare piebald fallow deer

Herd management
I’ll got a level 7 crocodile albino yesterday
Idk why he keeps talking about herd management when it’s not a thing in cotw😂😂 or else you’d go around shooting small bucks
What are you talking about lmao, the devs have literally had to make a statement about herd management because its so good in cotw. Its not the same as herd management in way of the hunter. In cotw if you load the map up with low levels the game tries to compensate by spawning in more diamonds. It just takes a quick search on youtube to find tons of videos from multiple creators talking about how to do it.
Herd management is just the name people gave it because you are selectively shooting animals to get higher levels to spawn.
It is a thing, it doesn't work like that though because it's not intended to be a feature in cotw. It just got discovered.

I’m convinced there’s some cheaters out there, I’ve put in almost 150 hours into one species and have 1,000 kills watched all the videos and this doesn’t work. Some people get it in 5 kills and others thousands. So stupid
How often do you get diamonds? That will tell you if you are at a good state for HM. Typically you will not see a drastic increase in great ones or super rares till you are getting a diamond every 10-15 kills. You want 70% or more of your entire male population of a species to be the lower levels required for that species. 1000 kills is not much in terms of starting a grind, the fast grinds are typically farther down the line. For example its very rare for the first couple grinds to be fast as it takes time to manage the map down and usually the following grinds are faster. My first few whitetail grinds were taking 1500+ and i was getting a diamond every 30 kills after a couple thousand kills. Now i get a diamond every 10-15 and i have had 4 Whitetail great ones in the past 2k kills. There's a certain level of RNG as well to take into account so you can always be getting unlucky/lucky as well. My 8300 kill bear grind is a perfect example of bad RNG as the following grinds were much shorter. It 100% works or the devs would never have had to clarify its okay to do. It takes a lot of time and its very easy to miss a lot of zones. Since HM is based on the entire population missing 5 zones with a few males each can greatly affect the results. Hope this helps
