- DT 770 Pro vs 700 / 900 Pro X, ATH M50X, & HIFIMAN Sundara
Many gamers spend a lot of money buying new GPUs like an RTX 3080 or CPUs like the 12900K so they can have the best gaming experience possible, however there is one thing gamers cheap out on all too often. Headphones. In this video I give a quick review of popular Pro headphones like the Seinnheiser HD 280 Pro, 380 Pro, Audio Technica ATH M50X, BeyerDynamic DT 770 Pro, 700 Pro X, 900 Pro X, and HiFiMan Sundara and give you my thoughts on which headphones are the best options under $200 and $500.

Which headphones are you using right now? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
Haha. You are just gushing about the DT Pro X headphones being not comfortable right straight into our face. No specific explanation or so. Well, this is a gaming channel. Understandabe.
You recommended the dt770's which are the worst headphones ive ever heard. Must be tone deaf. The M50x model blows fizzy treble trash away.
I think it’s unfair to tell people to avoid DT900 Pro X and DT700 Pro X just because you found them uncomfortable, comfort is subjective for everyone and many people are ok with high clamp (most sennheiser headphones have high clamp). The DT900/DT700 are an upgrade to the DT770/DT990 line up in terms of objective sound and they have a detachable cable.
He is always making such ridiculous claims
he is a noob!
I own the DT 900 Pro X, and they are my daily driver bar none. Absolutely perfect all arounder. And they are "wallhack" mode in gaming for their resolution, clarity, soundstage, and imaging.
He probably are not much of a gamer, that's why his subjectiveness is shrewd. If you really want an opinion about them headphones for gaming, go somewhere else.
PS - He is recommending Sundaras for gaming, and I just laughed. Sundaras are garbage for gaming, but fantastic for music.
"Sennheiser is not in business anymore as far as I'm aware" .... this guy should literally get banned from the internet.
Dude this youtuber is a total knob. He has zero technical background in anything he talks about and all of his recommendations are based on income potential he has from sponsors. The fact that he has 108k subscribers shows how dumb the majority of the internet is.
Yeah been using 990 for years and they are super comfortable. I just wish they were updated to improve the build quality, I've had one pair break because of the cable and my other set just broke where the cups meet the headband which is pretty common. Just trying to decide if I get the DT900 next
I disagree what he said about DT 700 / 900 Pro x. I have the 700 version and it sounds great. I can run them with my phone and PC without any external amps and I can wear them with glasses for hours to an end and I have pretty big ears, absolutely no discomfort whatsoever. I've had no such distortion he talked about and they're built very durably.
I have the 900 pro x and they're awesome aswell. Very comfortable. Idk what he's talking about..
I’m pretty much sure that he’s just talking crap in order to promote some other product, it’s sad that we can’t see the number of dislikes on this video 😃
with that price range, go test Hifiman Sundara
@@bubski1MC I never the 900 pro x as well I love them, I top frag all the time on valorant and pair it with thx onyx as well
@@lohti is the onyx an amp?
I thought you were gonna say PSUs, lots of people cheap out on their power supply as well.
This!
That's what I thought when I heard it. Personally I find audio one of the most important elements where games that were great but with drab or lacking soundtracks board me yet ones with incredible music that had dull or generic gameplay really hook me. But hey, audio is very personal and if you've never heard good audio, you don't know what you're missing. Similar with 4K images, you don't notice what you're missing till you've seen it long enough to get used to it.
That's what I thought too.
I think you used exactly the right words when you described the DT 770 Pro 80 Ohm. "Even your on-board Motherboard shouldn't have to much trouble trying to push these".
Most Mainboards will probably fail to properly push the 80 Ohm Version, but they have no problem trying to push them.
If I didn’t knew comfort on headphones is very subjective and varies a lot from person to person, I’d question which headphones you had. Because I got myself the DT700 PRO X and they are easily the most comfortable pair I had to date. I’ve been wearing them for up to 6 hours straight at times and they never became uncomfortable to me.
True. This guy is just gusing about the DT Pro X headphones being not comfortable right straight into our face. No specific explanation or so. Well, this is a gaming channel. Understandabe.
@@rionvalet Yep, I have the 700 Pro X and they're fine for ME. Key word: Me. They also sound great for music and decent for gaming.
Had my DT 770(32 ohms) for well over a decade now and they're still recommended to this day. Go to love it!
Not really. It’s been somewhat obsolete for a while now but it was definitely good a decade ago.
@@adsrbad9733 I agree for the 32 ohm version but the 80 and 250 ohm versions are very much still popular and relevant not only for gaming but also in the audiophile community
@transporter255 do Dekoni pads really make such a difference the 770 is now competitive?
@@xlneoMAXlx What’s the difference?
@@adsrbad9733 can i ask you something, which headphones should i buy between, beyerdynamics DT 990 pro (£130 on amazon) and Sundara Hifiman (£300) on amazon ? I am not an audiophile but i want to listen to some really good sounding music from my iphone with details and punchy clear bass big sound stage and loud without distortion .. this is my 50th youtube video review more i see more i am double minded so thought asking people in comment sections of those videos who seem like they know about these things , sorry to bother, and thank you 🙏
I've had the DT 1990 Pro for 3 years now, love em!
They're built like a tank, I don't see them ever breaking, and the audio is great.
I guess the only downside is that they're quite heavy, and it can get noticeable if you wear them 24/7 like I do.
@transporter255 which one?
@transporter255 which one, theres several
fantastic video, and thanks for pointing out the people who cheap out on audio, its really sad how ignorant people are about audio. They're really missing out.
Sundara's might need an AMP but not necessarily a DAC :D
I just grabbed the Sundaras and an Ifi Zen Dac V2 since its a amp and dac. This'll be my first foray outside of gaming headset space and going a bit into audiophile territory. Hopefully its good!
Damn I’m surprised you say avoid the DT 700 pro x’s. I’ve only heard good things about them so far
I can confirm after purchasing them and using them for 2 months, they are incredible. I can hear everything!
@@TimmyTheSnail thought the same…
nah he talking crap... Pro X are great.. not perfect but saying to avoid is crap.. have both 900 pro x and Sundara.. sold my sundara to friend because its not great for gaming.. it term of music listening.. both are great and depend to personal reference.. but 900 pro x bass abit slower than Sundara.. deep but slow
@@TimmyTheSnail They are WAY less comfortable than the 770's and they sound identical.
I got the 900 pro x and I love them, they pair amazing the the thx Onyx and I top frag almost all the time on valorant with the crosshair placement diff with hearing the footsteps so crisp and clear
Beyerdynamic MMX300, I think the second revision of the 1st gen ones.
Absolutely wonderful headset, and it has a very nice mike. I got it in 2014, and its still going strong. Should probably replace the ear pads though; they're getting a bit rough.
Also, if you get a USB DAC, short cords are less of an issue. I recently got a Mayflower ARC2 and it has been absolutely awesome. I've got a headset hanger under my desk, and the Mayflower in the corner where I can easily reach the volume knob for adjustment. And the sound is glorious!
I got my MMX300 (600ohm) back in 2014 too and I agree, glorious sound. When some friends and I play shooters I seem to be the only one hearing footsteps clearly.
Mine is running on an Motu M2.
Unfortunately the cable is dying on me like 2inches from the cup, real bummer.
Hope yours keeps going.
@@PickedLast Ah, yeah. I did have to send it in to get the cable replaced a few years back. But they got it back to me ok after that.
I have the Beyerdynamics DT 770 Pro 80Ohms Version for about a year now, I liked them!
They're built sturdy, and they sound decent for the price.
I use the AKG K260 for Hi-Fi listening, the AKG K270S on the console in the studio and the AKG Y50BT for jogging. Also have the AKG K280 just for the completeness of the collection.
I have the Beyerdynamic 990, 1990 and the 900 pro x. Everything wears a little differently, but they are all comfortable. Noise from the cable is not a problem with any of them. I even find that it occurs least in the 900.
Couldn't agree more! I love my DT770s. Coming from Astros and the like, there is just no comparison. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching!
I use the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro and I absolutely love them!
I've been running 600 ohm DT990 Editions through a Bravo Audio V3 Tube Amp for about 3 years now. I need to get a DAC, but I want one with red + white out and I want it to be a similar in size to the V3 so that I can stack them to save space.
or... and hear me out now... you can hook your DDL/DTS-C card up to a good home theater receiver with TOSLink, and out to reference speakers and subwoofer for full 7.1 audio. I really miss those Nvidia Soundstorm chipsets, the audio rocked. The ability to hear noise directionally was an amazing advantage in death matches.
SHP9500's are cheap, the most comfortable headset ever and sound pretty great + they don't need much power
ive heard theyre good
Thank you so much for this video, this is exactly what I was looking for 😍 going for the Sundara's
Hey
I just orderd a sennheiser hd 560s for gaming would you say they are good or should i buy beyerdynamic 770s insteed?
I use the Audio Technica ATH-M50x for monitoring when I'm recording, the RØDE NTH-100 for editing and general listening, and the Sennheiser PC37X (but not the microphone) for gaming. My microphone is the Shure SM7B, and everything runs through my RØDECaster Pro II.
I'm considering one of the Beyerdynamic headphones, but I'm also thinking about upgrading my speakers. I currently have the Razer Nommo Chroma, but I'm looking into getting something like the PreSonus Eris E3.5. I'm trying to transition away from gaming peripherals and towards more of a production-focused build.
I've been using an AKG K712 Pro, along with a wireless Antlion Modmic. I'm a pretty big fan of both.
Perfect Timing bro, I've been looking for a good set of headphones. I am gamer that did cheap out on headphones after building a pc, but I'm looking to make a change, however most the vids out there suck. Thanks for the intel.
DT770 Pro working for me superb.Connected top a soundcard in my pc, also very very comfy.
I'm rocking the dt 990 premium 250 ohms. Paired with a schitt stack. I love them.
I have the same, and getting a DAC/AMP was 100% necessary for the DT cans to really shine. without an amp, I would never recommend using them, over something like an akg 7xx/701 or senn 598. I still like the akg for general purpose stuff, but the DT990s are just "fun" with the profile they have, more-so than any similar prices cans
Update: After doing some research , I ordered the 900 pro x. I still love my 990s but I want a more versatile head. If I don't like the 900's, I'll just return them.
Beyerdynamic tygr 300r.
Will never go back to "gaming headsets".
Thank you for this video. Thank you! I have been thinking like this for 18 years no joke. Now I dont have any of your recommended headphones but I have my second pair of Sony MDR-7506. They are absolutely great closed headphones for about 100euro. They are super pure on sound because they are 'studio monitor'. And really comfortable to wear. And I can tell you from experience that they last a decade.
Thanks for watching!
I'm using the Sennheiser PC38X only because I'm in a loud environment and I'm sort of soft spoken so I wanted a mic that would be close to my mouth. Otherwise I would still use my Sennheiser HD598s with my Blue Yeti.
If you have a quite room, the dt 990 pro are open back and much easier to wear for a long time. You don't feel like you are enclosed. Highly recommend the open backs...
If I have a dac/amp that can easily power the 250 olm 770s would they be good for gaming or does it not sound the same as the 80 olms?
I thought about that. I have a pretty good separate mic, but not the highest quality sound coming from my headset. Never used both tho.
Phillips SHP9500s and V Moda LP2s. I use the 9500s for gaming, and I switch between the two for music listening, just depending on what I'm listening to
I use the Meze 99 "Noirs" from Massdrop, and my other fave is the Monolith 1060c's, both because I don't need pinpoint accuracy with the games I play ( Fallouts, The Witcher 3, The Outer Worlds, etc.) but I like very neutral and dynamic headphones for music.
Of course, none of the headphones I own can match the sound from my aDs 910 loudspeakers.
I bought the dt 770 pro about 3 weeks ago and I love them :)
I'm using Hyper X Cloud Alpha S headphones. Great quality sound and mic. Only problem with it is the position of the sound controls on the cable.
One thing I can say about Beyerdynamic headphones is that the plastic clip on the slider rail is very brittle. Mine snapped on the right side after less than a year of ownership but I was able to replace them with a 3D printed part that was much stronger for ~$25. I 100% recommend replacing the clips with a 3D printed part rather than buying a new one from Beyerdynamic only to have the same issue over again.
An aspect that I rarely hear people mention is, "how well do these stay on my head?" I have DT 770 PROs and I picked them by going to the store, head grooving, and seeing which ones stayed on my head the best. This was because of previous issues where I was jamming on my guitar and the headphones started to slip off. The sound quality doesn't matter if you can't keep em on your head! :)
Exactly what I thought! You can move very fast and hard, and they still swing back in the right position.
I use a pair of high quality 12inch bookshelf Edifier speakers over sbdif. They sound excellent to me. Anyone have any suggestions for a better pair of speakers or headphones I would appreciate it. 😊
I'm using a Steelseries Arctis 1. It sounds great to me and I can always plug it into my phone with an aux cable so it works great for listening to things on all my devices.
The DT 770 headphones are legendary for their longevity.
I don't daily drive the DT 770 but looking at reviews many people have.
What I have been daily driving for the last seven years is the Sony MDR-7506, they are the ONLY headphones I have ever had last anywhere near that long, and these have ZERO construction quality problems to this day, the headband is still tight and shows no signs of wear, there is no cracking in any plastic components, and even though the coiled main cable gets tugged on daily it's solid as ever.
IMO fantastic audio performance, even though they are the opposite of bass heavy they can reproduce 10hz which almost nothing else on the market does. If you want to EQ them I have no doubt the MDR-7506 would sound as good as any other headset.
The Good: High end audio, bulletproof construction, relatively low impedance (63ohm, I have never noticed lack of volume from any mobile device), coil cable is amazingly convenient, fold up design, ~$100 pricetag.
The Bad: Depending on the size of your head the ear pads may not be big enough, for me they're partway "on ear" but after I got used to it they are "comfortable enough", then the earpad material will flake off after a few years but almost all earpads do, and real leather replacement pads are cheap and readily available.
Yeah the MDR's is a gift from Christ himself.
Agreed on the DT-770 for Gaming.
I have two other headphones in the $200 range and the Sennheiser and AKG sets are tuned for more mid-focus, so the DT-770 is my version of "Bass Heavy", which makes percussion sounds from shooters and racing games feel really good.
If I'm playing with someone and need to use a mic, I use my Hyper-X Cloud II. Decent enough for the price. If on the other hand I'm playing something and not using a mic I use my Pioneer SE-Monitor 5 headphones. Audiophile type headphones that I really like. The sound that comes out of them impresses me and they are also comfortable to wear.
Sony WH1000XM4 with V-moda Boom Pro. Am I doing it wrong?
Went from Logitech g pro x to the dt 770 in 32 ohm, an oh boy there is a big difference, way more soundstage, clarity, build quality and very comfy. the 32 ohm version has a shorter cable that is perfect for pc.
G Pro X Wireless with replacement thicker ear cushions, it’s amazing.
My setup is vmv d1se(dac) -> Singxer Sa1(amp) -> Dan clark audio Aeon 2 Noire(headphone). I also really like using my Harmonicdyne Zeus headphones for playing games as well. The rest of my headphones are really just for music though.
Funny how life works. Just got my corsair virtuoso XT’s today and so far they been great. Expensive but my birthday is in a week so figured id try em out and if I dont like them can always send them back cuz I bought them on amazon.
Haha I bought myself the same headset for my birthday 2 months ago. No complaints after two months
I've had a pair of DT-770s (in 80 ohms) for over a decade, and agree they're the most balance headphones I've ever heard. They have the broadest range of frequency response, comfortable, and have serviceable parts. I've swapped the pads on mine several times, parts are available everywhere.
I've also used HyperX Cloud IIs, which are very similar to the Beyerdynamics, but not as serviceable and more bass saturated.
got my dt-770s in 08, still rocking the original pads lol. i should replace them but they're holding on. use them daily as well.
@Nate Fn If you have the 32 or 80 ohms, you don't necessarily need one. But if you do have the 80 or 250 ohms, I think a Schiit Magni Heresy would work. You will need some nice RCA cables/adaptors, though. Be sure to get more than just my opinion and read reviews/specs/instructions carefully.
Video paused, I'm using the HIFIMAN Ananda.
Sennheiser is out of business? News to me.
Also if you are just playing games don't waste tons of money on headphones. Sundara's are great but not worth the money (unless you are listening to music), BT 770's are definitely a good option though.
currently using my pair of Sennheiser HD280 pros! :D
I'm using Beyerdynamic TYGR 300rs, everything about them is perfect, one of my favorite purchases ever
6:58 - DT770s 80Ohmz lack bass also your going to need a amp for those. Tested them with the realtek onboard sound cound and the volume is extremely low. Most def a amp is fully needed as 80ohmz for these isn't so easy to push compared to 38Ohmz in the ATH M50x.
Klipsch KG-200 Gaming Headphone in Black.
LOVE Klipsch audio im an audiophile and always bought
Klipsch since 2000 for home and recently PC headset few months back.
I used to main the DT 770 Pros, but then I dropped them and right driver is way quieter than the left driver, so I'm trying to repair them. But ima still pick up the 770 pro x's
How can I take you seriously if you don’t know the difference between a DAC and an amp?
I got TYGR 300 R but im looking for second headphones as i need also closed back ones
Using Audio-Techinca ATH-M40x. Using them for video editing, but gaming too. Wanted to go for M50x, but the sound they give is not neutral.
I would LOVE to buy the DT 770 80 ohm...but it's got a super long cord that's not removeable. DT 700 pro comes with a short cord that's removable
Dt770 pro 80 ohm on a schiit magni 3+ had it for nearly two years and I am so happy with my choice.
I purchased both and love it!
The focal elegia we're discontinued and are often on sale on adorama for $380 that's a $900 headphone for $380 which is a steal. I also have the sundaras and the elegia slay when it comes to detail retrieval. I'm hearing things I've never heard.
Hows Sundara's soundstage compare to DT990s?
one more things is that the dt770 pro despite beeing closed back for some reason have pretty ok-ish sound staging which in gamer language is just surround
compared to the mx50 which i think have far worse
I got the SADES Spirit Wolf USB headphones. These were about $30 three years ago. They are a bit heavy on my ears but I'm fine with the sound. I wish the microphone was a little closer to my mouth or the position was adjustable.
Many I remember in highschool I got these giant sades on amazon as I had no money. They looked absolutely ridiculous but they lasted me all high school, even if they did make me look like a freak. They were the sades 709. Later also got the 710 for my PS4 to use virtual surround sound but upgraded to a wireless Sony set later on.
using my sennheiser HD560s. love em
I have hifiman HE4XX and I love them for the price. They beat out my og pair of Philips fidelio cans, which is a feat.
Sadly I cannot agree with your beyerdynamic reviews, I've been using the dt 700 pro x for a few months now and they've been very comfortable with a very nice sound, even compared to the dt 770 pro....
I don't know how you can whine about the comfort, it's whining at the highest level and imo very unnecessary.
Soundwise I definitely prefer the dt 700 pro x ones
Nah they are WAY less comfortable than the 770s.
Steelseries Arctis Pro + Gamedac over here.
Casual gamer, audiophile but not on the crazy side of it.
Pretty happy with what I get after some alterations on the equalizer.
The exact same one without the gamedac though.
200Ohm DT990 pros are my daily drives. have been for at least 5 years now. absolutely love them
I read this as 2000 ohm lol
stepping up from the ATHm50's was like putting on glasses for the first time
@@searchiemusic i'm actually planning on going from M50Xs to DT990 Pro, are they really that good?
@@razelm yes absolutely, it'll sound a bit weird, kinda bright, maybe fizzy at first but once you get used to them its way more detailed and balanced, it really makes the m50's sound too bassey, like when the low note hits you don't lose any high detail, you're gonna love em
@@searchiemusic so, I just got then, put them on, noticed they're a bit lighter than the m50xs, as for the sound, holy.
Honestly, I love the wider stage these have due to being open back, altho, not a very drastic difference from my m50xs(Large cushony pads will change their very closed down sound signature and will open them up a bit).
DT990s have plenty of bass as well, but they sound much better bcs they're open, so the Low end doesn't drown the Highs and Mids.
Ngl, they sound really really good. Glad I got them now, for a good price too.
I will be keeping both pairs tho, M50Xs are great for travelling and I can use them with my phone as well because they're easy to drive.
Had those for 4 years now, and they have been through everything and they still work just as fine!
i got an old model of hyper X don't remember the exact one but usb/jack i go usb and always worked good
i am using Sony 1000XM4 headphones mostly through bluetooth, the mic I use from the webcam built in mic
not useing headphones at the moment but my kali lp-6. but if i use my headphones they are the sennheiser HD-25
You should try Beyerdynamic Tygr
Solid recommendations.
Using the steelseries arctis 1. It’s a pretty good budget headset for the price. :)
I have a philips shp9500. quite a divisive pair of cans but I like them.
Sennheiser is still in business. Where did you get the impression otherwise?
Sennheiser sold to Sonova, but they're still making audio equipment. There's a lot of misinformation about Sennheiser no longer making headphones. Them selling to Sonova is more of a collaboration. Sonova is still selling under the name Sennheiser, while advancing with medical grade audio devices.
For me I use the formerly Massdrop (now just called Drop) Ether CX. They were an $800 set which I use with a split DAC/Amp combo. It has my favorite sound curve out of any headphone I've ever used, but it can come off as a bit stale in dynamics. My Gold Planar G2000 have a much more lively sound, but it definitely requires an EQ to fix it's obnoxious bass.
The m50x was my first decent headphone and can agree with your assessment. It is a bit sharp for gaming and even though you'll notice grain and imperfections in your music files, it also does a poor job as letting you hear the extra details you're missing. Ironically it's cheaper younger brother the m40x is a fair bit better in this regard. In general though that is the Audiotechnica sound, it's not a great signiture for gaming. Many people still stand with Sennheiser's HE 600, HE 6XX, and HE 58X Jubilee as good headphones for gaming, though I say they aren't the most comfortable.
I don't have the sundara but from everyone I've heard they do seem to find it incredible. Can't really speak for it myself.
damn that’s crazy
@@peen2804 I've bought many other headphones like how I just got the Sony WF-1000 XM4 as my first true wireless, but I've never found a headset with an audio curve I prefer more. It may have been steep, but it was worth the price to have great comfort and the perfect sound curve for me. Not to mention good closed back headphones are harder to find.
Currently I use HyperX Cloud headphones, a decent pair of closed back headphones that I've been using for years.
Edit:
I'm actually looking at getting a wireless set of headphones since I got the PS5, I'm not planning on building a new PC any time soon. Been looking at the HyperX Cloud Flight since I've generally have had a good experience with that brand.
I have a pair of HyperX Cloud II and use them for both gaming and work for Teams calls and Genesys Cloud calls. Comfortable, sound great and cost around $100-$120.
Still say no wireless headphone I've tried was ever as good as the Sony HW700. Shame they don't make them anymore.
Using Hifiman He400s, these things are AWESOME
The razer blackshark v2 pros with the usb dongle and broadcast mic quality is goat
I'm using beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 ohms most of the time. Also using :
- Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee (easy to drive, a bit muddy, veiled, unrefined)
- AKG K7XX (good soundstage but otherwise underwhelming)
- HiFiMAN HE 400i (flat bass, recessed mids, tizzy and grainy highs "à la Grado")
- Fostex T50RP MkII modded (very natural, fluid, organic, finely detailed highs - the opposite of HE 400i)
- KEF M400 (super easy to drive, bassy and dark)
Audio-Technica WS1100is with a Vmoda boompro. Dunno if they still hold up in the current entry level headphone landscape but they definitely still hold up against the M50x - more soundstage, better detail retrieval, arguably less bass but it’s definitely tighter. Only potential issue is they leak sound a bit bc they’ve got vents on the back. Mine have been going strong for 5 years and I beat the shit out of em through college, I’ve actually got a pair of replacement ear pads from Brainwavz coming in tomorrow because the originals are coming apart lol.
Also yo Sennheiser is definitely still in business and bigger than ever - HD560S and PC38x, check em out. If you’re into open backs also check out the 58x, 6xx, and hd600 if you have a bit more money, and if you need closed backs, hd280pro seems popular
i got a sff pc with a 1650 lp, a 3700x... even though im using a budget gpu i use blacksharks v2 pro which a comfortable, wireless and lightweight. would say as lobg as they are comfortable, they are good enaugh as long as youre not an audiophile
also got the wave:3 mic
Shure SRH840 (since 2014) with B550 Aorus Elite AX v2 AmpUp on-board audio. I was surprised to see these headphones used by Nightwish's singer in the studio while tracking vocals for their 2015 record. I've been on the trigger for Sennheiser HD599's for a couple of months, but honestly my reason I still haven't bought them is due the difference between an already good audio and an even better audio is way less than the difference between crappy audio and actually good one.
Sennheiser PC 360 - why? because i owned a set of the previous version and they lasted many many years, super loud, clear and bassy plus open backed so low on the sweaty lobe front :)
My headphones are Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro and I also have Studio Monitors for music producing, Yamaha HS8.
Nice!
@@GraphicallyChallenged thanks man!! love your video's
I have an old Mackie D8B and Protools set up I use with Sennhisers, I guess the ancient aliens guy of graphics cards has a bunch of engineers watching him lol
@@danielbennett4867 FL Studio user over here, been an FL Studio user since I was 12 and I'm 26 now. I also got a PreSonus Studio 24c hooked up with a microphone that I use to record.
I literally just paired my XM3s with the PC before watching this video. Audeze Penrose X I plan getting soon.
I use Steelseries Arctic pro Wireless, connected to my computer via Optical cable
I have had my ath m50s for 7 years, never had a single problem, that sound far better then most gaming headsets I’ve tried, no mic amp required, can plug and play to your phone, and will last you a very long time, he may not recommend them for gaming, but to use day to day for anything from music to cruising in gta you can’t beat them
i had mine for 5 years until it broke, and i discovered that they were actually bad when i bought better replacements
id look into k371 etc
I second this. I've had my M50x's for a few years and they're incredible. I will recommend them until the day I die. Everyone I personally know who owns these absolutely loves them. For context, I listen to EDM and also produce music with them. And I actually never found the DT770s comfortable, but the M50x's are a dream.
I have a really awesome 5.1 surround sound system. I live in my own house. I crank that shit up! Its freaking awesome! I wouldn't be able to have it in an apartment.
Philips Fidelio X2HR are my main and SHP9500's as secondary
I use the Astro A50 Gen 4 with Dolby Atmos turned on. Game changer when playing Call of Duty Vanguard and hopefully soon with BattleField 2042
I'm using the ROG Delta because they are comfortable, cool looking and have great sound.
IEM BGVP Art-Magic DH3, Sennheiser HD598 & HD598cs depending on the game and mood I'm in
I rock PC37X and to me they are perfect. I'm sure alot of people have better cans for sound quality, but to me, they sound awesome, have good depth across all gaming types, and the Mic is top of the line.
