recently got a gx470, doing all the maintenance first then mods. Always willing to help others out when appropriate. The worst feeling is a sense of helplessness in the middle of nowhere. Be safe and know your gear

Really good video! Thanks for sharing all of this. Your last comments really drive home how important it is to know how to use everything.

Definitely good advice. It appears that the vehicle in its stock form is the least expensive aspect of this whole activity. And then there's the separate videos on comms, med kits and other items that come in handy in case of emergencies. Most importantly, finding a support group! :))

Great video. Very helpful. For some that maybe doubt or wonder about Sandy Cats rope and shackles. I ordered a rope and shackles to use on my ranch. We have trucks, skid steers and tractors get stuck on a fairly regular basis. (We are 1.5 hours north and slightly east of Houston). You shackles are fantastic as well as your rope. I have three other American brands and your gear is as good as the very best I own for much less. Thanks for developing something that everyone can afford. One comment on the video. I know this was not "all inclusive" but I might suggest to all you guys to have at least one first aid kit. All guys love gear and tools, but if you noticed he talks about practicing at home BEFORE you go out. Never truer words spoken. Same applies with first aid. Oh... add at least one Leatherman to your belt or center console. At least one! Keep up the good work. BTW- if you guys go out on your own especially - you must keep a day pack of food, water x2 and fire starting. Always have extra water. Great job and we appreciate the video's.

7/8 x 30 rope and 7/16 shackles. We sell a kit now on our website

I absolutely dislike wheeling with folks without a winch. I get it and understand that everyone's budget don't allow a winch at that point in time but I'm at the point in time where in doing harder trails. If they don't have a winch than they don't have any other recovery gear other than maybe traction boards 99% of the time.
