Jaguars are very good " swimmers"...in the wild😂😂😂
You CANNOT fix stupid…🤣
he ought to say he parked it and came back to find it underwater cos that's a write off even if it drives - and they will say it's done on purpose so not covered
He ought to not claim. It’s not worth it on something of that value.
@trainman665 It's a facelift X type so probably 4 to 9k in value
@@stevesharp9081 He’d get £1500 if he’s lucky.
First time I've seen a recovery truck driver strip to their undies to recover a vehicle. Usually they wear waders or just walk right in with zero F's given about the water or wet trousers.
It's mad particularly taking off his shoes as there is no way of knowing what he is standing on.
how did that jag even get that far into the flood and lol @ the driver stripping down to his undies
i bet that jag is a write off, why are people so silly these days ?
Because ignorance is instantaneous?
08 reg diesel Mondeo , oops, sorry X type Jag , you bet your life it will!!
It’s not a mondeo.. it’s a cd132 platform derived from a Mazda GE platform , used by many cars from Mazdas , mercury in America , Ford , Jaguar .. the x type in all wheel drive shares nothing with a mondeo but the general inner platform front end which houses an engine and the bulk head , the wheel base isn’t even the same lol . the to say it’s a mondeo is like saying a mondeo is a Mazda 626 or a mercury cougar or an x type … .. if anything it’s more related to the AWD Ford fusion(US spec) than the mondeo as mondeo was only ever front wheel drive and its “platform” was vastly altered because of this
@@carsandstuff365 Well I'll bow to your greater knowledge then🤗 ! All I know is that my 2.0 diesel x type estate was made by Ford , and every single part was stamped Ford or FoMoCo and quite a few of the parts were identical to the same engined Mondeo of the time .
The saloon ones were as you say, 4 wheel drive and a bit more unique.
Old Jags have no value at all
That’s my old X Type, sad to see it die like this. Served us faultlessly for 4 years!!
You should have been more picky who you sold it to. Absolute ignoramus second owner.
According to BABVVO and TEBBVO sadly soon all gas cars will be banned in EU!
I have a X type estate, lovely car. I was curious to see what engine it was so I ran this YK08 HPP through the Gov MOT check page and it does not come up at all. ?!
@@fredericksaxton3991probably because it's been scrapped.
@@mdog2501 Do you know when this happened? Was it recent or ages ago?
The reason I ask is the Jag is not smashed and is complete and ought to have been taken to a salvage yard for online auction and reclamation & possible repair.
I used to have a login for a online salvage yard and once bought a hi-spec Merc estate that my bro wanted which had been flooded. I paid 20% the value and he had it running within a few days of me buying it.
The man in his pants 😂😂
thats a fascinatul from Romanitsche Lurrebulle forced to work for free in EU or UK
Us locals just avoid any road between Sielby, Barrow, Quorn and Sorrel after any more than three rain drops. 😂😂😂😂😂
Nice billabong over there 😊
Nou watch out for the crocs mates
hope mr underpants gets paid well
The good old River Wreake wreaking havoc.
under carpet electronics flooded , rusty brakes and bent conrods !
Oh wow how did the jaguar get there it should be in the wild :)
Transit and trailer doing the automotive equivalent of a monkey walking on two legs for the first time. Evolution right there
Seems crazy going out to a flood rescue recovery without waders, walking barefoot in flood water is mad and if you get a cut risks weils disease.
The guy who got the vehicle stuck couldn't be expected to be prepared but the recovery driver ought too.
Well i work as a brake down man, and that would be a warning if not dismissal.
Absolutely spot on! For twenty years I have done voluntary work in and around watercourses. Those in charge have always stressed the necessity to wear PPE. Unpleasant bacteria are in flood water and on one occasion I spashed river water in my eye with the immediate result that I had a severe cold for a month.
@@danieltalbot2402 Yet you can't spell "breakdown". Hardly encouraging.
Those are poor fascinatuls that dont get money for what they are forced to do
Why would you even think about trying that?
😃😄😅🤣🤣🤣
Hey Tom, does this road flood all the time even with a bit of rain or did this happen as a result of a major flood?
Usually only floods after heavy rain
Proving once again that some people have more money than they’ve got good sense.
I Didn't realise jaguar made boats.
He should remember his life jacket next time
💦🔒?
I washed well, cleanliness is the key to health
Fool! I'm being very benevolent!
Love to see what insurance say 🤔
In a few words? No way, mate.
a full cover insurance will pay
🥺
There cars not boats.Watching from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Next we will see recovery drivers in wet suits
Why oh why hasn’t anyone put a ‘P’ into that street sign..
did the guy strip off to save his clothes being wet or something?
Jaguars are not engineered to be waterproof? Bent valves sre VERY expensive
Если такие люди живут в этой стране , то эта страна полный банкрот😂
Suit you sir . . . Wet is she sir . . .
????
Let's reflect for a second that the cameraman had to endure very wet feet and legs to capture the footage.
Waders have beern invented. Check out similar footage to see my point.
He had wellies on
Should never tried it
No real loss , not a real Jaguar.
As real as Jaguar as anything else of that era.
Apart from the engine it's pretty much all Jaguar!
Yes, its a total loss and uninsured as it was intentionally driven into deep water. It was only worth about £1500 prior to its sinking. Some people buy the wrong submarine
