the shroud and overall shape of the engine reminds me of an old briggs and a old kohler
Yeah I'm like "where's the rest of the go kart" 🤣
Now it needs a homemade style go cart to run in
That could be a cool idea!
I thought that too, but good luck finding a small enough centrifugal clutch.
Great video. You did a good turning it into a little project. I was hoping you would put a muffler it so it was satisfying to see you slip that in at the end there. Like to see if you can come up with a unique use for it. 👏👏👏
Greatlittle engine. Like the way the pushrods cross over themselves.
seriously ...that was more relaxing than a bong hit....
Hahaha that is good to hear!
Really nice set-up. When I saw that muffler, I said I hope that is silver solder! I guess it wasn't. Even silver solder may not take the heat. Anyway that is a wonderful thing.
Outstanding work 👏👏
Thanks a lot 😊
that is beautiful engine
I enjoyed it!
Everyone has this printer I swear :) great starting point, auto leveling on newer models really help tremendously
Yes haha, every beginner has or had this printer.
I want to upgrade to an auto bed leveling printer, I hate the manual bed leveling, to be honest.
@@AJRestoration consider the any cubic neo, I happened across it when it was for sale on Amazon for $130, I've auto leveled it about 3 months ago and haven't since. I probably do at least one print a day, if a print fails it usually is my own fault by putting in faulty print settings. Been a super reliable printer for me, day and night difference in quality.
Vraiment sympathique vidéo 🙂
Sounds sweet.
That’s is soooo sweeet love it great video great build 💪
Glad you like it, more to come!
thats so cool . ima fan of tiny motors engines etc.
I have another cool one coming up.
Very interesting and great video🥰👏👏👏
Oh the sound.😊
Perfection! haha
When the solder melted on the muffler and it fell apart... my first thought was it must be a Ford OEM part. ;)
My guess is that the muffler was assembled using electrical solder (melting point around 370F) instead of silver solder which has a melting point from 1200F to 1750F depending on which type is used.
Haha It could be a Ford OEM part haha. Yes it was just normal solder, I plan on doing it with silver solder or brazing, I am investing in a brazing kit and I will redo the mini muffler.
Super cool
It will only drive one thing
And that’s my wife
It’ll drive her crazy ❤
101K subscribers!! well done :D :D
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Would be neat if you made a micro recoil starter for it.
aThis motor is so cool...But thought might be complete assembly. i want one and have seen video..
It's exceptional build quality. I had so much fun with it.
Nice 😎😎😎👍👍👍
I’ve got an Ender 3D printer. What program do you use to make your products?
Running it a bit lean but really cool creation.
I use this insulators for my rc helicoter fuselages..
Do you have a ebay link or something? I'd like to see what it looks like
Creditable Dyffryn freesia 2nd cycle is retrofit but nice engine
i was expecting a fake dc motor-driven model, but this is the real deal!
Oh no haha I would never do that to you guys.
Fantasies AJ, groot pret my friend
Baie dankie, dis vet pret haha
Nice, now you need 4 insolator dampers mounts for vabration...
I wonder if one could find dampers so small.
Need to use silver solder if you want your exhaust to stay together.just fyi.
Correct I do plan on redoing it but properly.
I wonder how it would sound if you used dual pipes on the exhaust????....🤔😁
Like a Harley maybe??...🧐😎👍
I bet it would sound pretty great!
I fell asleep, when I woke up he was still taking the ingition unit out of the plastic bag just like he was when i went to sleep.
Glad I could help you figure out how to pause the video. ;-)
@@AJRestoration lollollollol
I have one of those in real life not sure if it starts any more
❤
I really enjoyed watching you open the cardboard box at the start, I've never seen anybody open a cardboard box before.
Aw yeah! I'll do it every time then hahaha I'll tag you so you don't miss it. 🙂
I think i have found a life sized version of that engine sitting in the dirt😅
Lekker ding
Absoluut haha
The front of the engine blower housing has me stumped on what style of classic engine it's made to.look like
I think it's supposed to be a Nelson brothers sattley engine.
I just googled Nelson brothers sattley engine and I agree it does look like its similar. Also first time I saw one of those engines, would love to own one someday.
@@AJRestoration one of these days you.will find one for the right price
Definitely a Briggs and Stratton fh
@@alexblough5739 thank you for the info on this video on this engine blower housing
Do these produce the electricity needed to run? Alternator/stator etc?
Yes, the company does sell mini generators that you can hook up to generate electricity. You can also make one-off a small dc motor. I have a video planned on this topic.
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota AJ. Dam CZcams been messing with me. Dam keyboard keeps freezing up
Mine does the same every time I try to comment then 15 seconds later it works
@@Austerationsame here. Question, are you by any chance a Republican? If you get my drift....
I was going to buy that from engine diy😂
Feel free to use the links in the video and my discount code!
bonjour monsieur sur quel site peut on trouver se petit moteur cordialement
Now put it on dyno !!
Haha that could be cool, but I have no Idea how to dyno something like this.
Why ?
well done...conversion to electric start next and a full water cooled radiator and water pump :)
That would be awesome.
Why ?
I knew that solder was going to melt. Try brass..
I don't have the right equipment for brass or silver solder yet, I will invest in it for the future.
Very nice work A.J... did you get better throttle response with or without the muffler?Turned out beautiful...
It was basically the same.

Legend, thank you.
I would’ve already lost every one of those tiny nuts and screws
I almost did, had to crawl the floor with a magnet.
We're we supposed to read that instruction book since a cat seems to have a hold of your tongue?
The cat always has my tongue haha. No its just a little preview, some guys like it.
Time for actual silver solder... LOL.
Correct hahaha
Hook a small motor to it and use it as a generator.
I have a video like that planned.
Really Great Video, I only wish you had made the stand out of a very nice piece of REAL timber! preferably with lots of grain showing!
Why ?
Idea Sir.
Figure out a generator set up to run off yer 4 stroke to be able to charge your phone-etc.
Maybe use like one of those wind-up style flash lights.
Run a generator with it and use it to run a model train.
I want to try and hook a little dc motor for a generator and a few LED's
It starts, now what?
Love the tiny muffler. Now you need to make it into an itty bitty generator.
Why ?
villiers
Would be smart to mount the engine down first
It would want to be cheap because someone else has had the fun of building it 😢
🥶✊🏻🇷🇺
If you move a bit more slowly you will stop altogether!
Is that a challenge?

Cute little engine, dumb wordless unboxing and assembly.
Wordless is my thing if you want words there are many videos out there that has words ;-)
Starting engine at 8:58. All before is bullsiting.
Thank you for pointing that out haha, wanna skip all the other bullshit.
What is the point?
A working model ICE
. . . .
If you have to ask, you would not understand.
Running a miniature gas engine allows for the observation and study of internal combustion engine principles on a smaller, more manageable scale. It provides a practical understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical engineering. By examining the performance and behavior of the engine, one can gain insights into the efficiency of combustion processes, the mechanics of reciprocating engines, and the optimization of fuel-air mixtures. This hands-on experience is invaluable for both educational purposes and for fostering a deeper appreciation of the complexities involved in engine design and operation. Did I say enough?

over priced item
I actually don't think so. If you take into consideration all the engineering and the quality of the small parts its well worth the money.
