Who the hell do Michael Alig and Ernie Glam think they are? Michael Alig spearheaded a countercultural youth movement based on the concept of the Warholian "anti-Celebrity" and became King of the Club Kids before inspiring the film Party Monster, starring Macaulay Culkin. He is currently painting masterpieces of artwork; working on his autobiography, Aligula; designing a club kid-inspired clothing line called Skroddleface; directing a NYC art collective called Countdown and recording a new dance single. One of the original club kids, Ernie Glam is a journalist and irreverent talk show host by day, Underground clothing designer and stylist-to-the-stars by night; catch him - -if you can get past the red velvet ropes -- at the city's hottest nightclubs and parties.

"Glory Daze" also mentioned the whole "shot him up with Drano" bullshit. The cop says it and Musto says it (again!).

5:20 he was clearly looking for approval before continuing, which he didn't get, so he continued pretending that he cared about his crimes. He didnt care Ernie and I'm sorry for that. It isn't on you. You did your best. He had a severe personality disorder.

Michael Musto not wanting to do the right thing??? Oh my, I am shocked. That guy is gross. Both on the inside and outside. He has given me the willies ever since I first saw him/read anything by him when he was on the talk show circuit w/ the club kids. He is just tacky and gross..eww.

Ok, this is 2018 and I just finished Glory Hole... I mean "Glory Daze" and It was well made and informative. I feel you really should watch "Party Monster: The Shockumentary" first because it has a better chronological flow to the events. It was cruel for the director to put that audio in about the floating box without more context. A person from outside the scene would not know about the viscus yet playful undertone to everything and also the use of dark humor to suppress unwanted emotions.

glory daze was good expect when it came to angel. it was kind of disturbing how everyone in the doc basically said yea he was worthless.

Right?? Like, I wouldn’t want them to “pretend” they liked him more than they did after the fact. That would have seemed phony and tasteless as well, BUT there IS a respectable middle ground that only Walt Paper and Amanda were able to pull off in that segment. With the rest of them you could just see in their faces and with their words, how literally worthless and annoying they really thought he was and it made me feel gross that they could still be so petty and tacky about it all these years later. Like, come on. Honesty is fine, but they could have held back on the hatefullness

Hi guys, I will start off that I did an interview with Ramon last night for about an hour. NOT A PLUG I watched the documentary the day before and watched some pre-incident interviews on Joan Rivers and Donahue etc to get a little more familiarity. Now I can completely understand if you feel personally violated from how he handled the information, but I can tell you as a viewer of the film that I thought that the blood party didn't seem as though it was after, it only seemed to add to people's ideas about "how stable can a guy be who wants a blood party?". My show is primarily about horror NOT A PLUG so I totally understand how it is to be that horror person who makes "sick" jokes and likes weird dark stuff and people assume it means you're somehow more dangerous than any other "normal" person. So did that put you, Michael, in a negative light? I think it might make a viewer question things, but those who would question and decide that it was a serious factor in what happened would probably be the type to judge you anyways. Maybe having a blood party is just not something non-horror people are capable of really understanding.
I do agree that if he guaranteed the footage of you and James St James wouldn't be used, yes that is fucked up - HOWEVER I brought up that part to Ramon specifically and commented how when combined the private conversation along with what you said afterwards in the van it shows that you did realize that what you were saying was inappropriate. I think it was actually a perfect way to show that yes you do have a conscience and you are thoughtful about your actions. I think some of us really can understand that you have a personality type that is just on the go in positive, fun-loving ways and that joking and being excited is something that just cant be burnt out of you no matter what has happened, or what will happen. Not that you dont have any dark thoughts or bad times, but please just know that some of us see this documentary and feel for you. It's showing a bunch of friends and acquaintances speaking about you who are realistically going to have mixed opinions about such a unique and sad experience. Sensitive and intelligent people who dont know you will get that from seeing it - that there is bias and opinions for different reasons. People who dont get it would probably judge you no matter what you do or say, for better or for worse. It seems that the theme of life was about being a "freak" who said fuck off to the average minded people who dont get shit, and I think that's just how it has to be. I know a lot of people have some judgmental and unforgiving thoughts towards you, but I am genuinely happy for you to come out of this and still are able to enjoy life. What purpose does it serve to be miserable? It's just not part of who you are. Anyways, as this video here was made about a year ago maybe these kinds of things have already been said to you by friends and other strangers, but hopefully it still means a little something to have it from me now.
Take care guys, have fun :)

nailbunny12345 agreed. the type of segments The Pee-ew films doesn't make sense to be filmed in front of a crowd, and the annoying people yelling take away from the whole thing. really disappointing.
