I was trying to getting Rocksmith to work for over a year (actually gave up last year and decided to try again now), and when I finally got it running, the CDLC problem hit me. I was almost giving up (again!), but found this video and can (FINALLY!!!) start playing it. Thank you so much for this fix!!!

damn, didnt work for me game keeps freezing on the amp load screen after custom song selection EDIT: the dll had a (1) in the name took that out and my custom tracks are working!!!! thanks man ur a legend

My game launches but it has the No Real Cable notification.
I have rsasio files in the game folder. I have assigned input and output to Focusrite USB ASIO Turned on. I can hear my guitar and the game (game sound keeps repeating like it’s broken) in my headphones connected to Focusrite solo.

I downloaded the cracked Rocksmith because they no longer sell the original on Steam, but it doesn't work for me, the game just doesn't even play sound, why is that?

Any reason the .dll is needed? How does that make it work?
Loading CDLC needs that original .DLL, however that DLL has crack checking in it. This DLL does not.
When I try to install CDLC it says that it does't work with pirate versions, even after de DLL was placed

This still doesnt work, I've tried multiple dll files and everything I can think of but the cdlc songs dont show up in the game, I'm at a complete loss
I think you need to have Cherub Rock dlc for cdlc's to show up on the list. I have downloaded remastered version with all dlc and had 0 problems with cdlc showing up, except you need this dll otherwise your game wont lauch. At least that was the case for me.

The DLL itself isn't cracked. It's just a different one that happens to work with cracked Rocksmith.

I'm confused. At the start of the video you tried to open Rocksmith but showed it doesnt open without the dll file. But yet you deleted ( 0:35 ) the dll file to put another one in. So why didn't it open in the first place

There's a download button right under where it says unsupported. It doesn't need to be supported by dropbox for you to download, it works
so this kinda worked. it loaded my one of my cdlc songs but then the first time it crashed the game. secoind time i got all the way through but i went to go run another song and it crashed again. Any ideas why the crashes?

Something isn't working on my end. Thank you for the .dll, but the version I downloaded (not from IGG) only installs and opens UPlay. From there, you need to sign up and it demands an activation key. Help?
You probably didn't apply the crack right. Try the version from thepiratebay, thats what I used and had no issues. If the game asks you to log into uplay, you can just press esc and ignore it.
If this is the skidrow version. You need to copy the contents of the KPRK file and copy it to the main directory with the rocksmith exe. After that just click the rocksmith exe to launch.

Is the file name exactly as in the video? is the .dll file in the same folder as the Rocksmith.exe file?

do not click yes, that is the wrong file. use the one i linked.

How many times do I gotta tell you that this is up to date, it works. You're doing something wrong or your game/crack is broken if it doesn't.

Cracked works without steam, but steam will keep supporting the game, you just can't buy it anymore.

i dont have that dll i have a bink2w32.dll instead would that still work
I use NoCable Launcher and it works fine, however, after I add d3dx9_42.dll , NoCable won't open. And if I remove the d3dx9_42.dll file from the folder, it works again but the cdlc file won't play. The song will stop after tuning interface. Let me know if I am missing something.

I got it sorted. I had the d3dx9_42.dll file from other source. I deleted it and downloaded from your link.

@@SamuelSalo nah like, it said "You're pretty stupid,. That DLL only works with this GUI, doesn't support pirated copies." and it closes CDLC and sends you to the steam page to buy the game. Idk what to do either.
@@Kitler06 hmm, I've only tested this on one cracked version, it may not work on some others. Idk how to help in that case, i experienced nothing like it
