Her clingyness can definitely be hard at times. But the hardest part of parenting for me is dealing with her eczema & allergies 🥺 I feel so bad for her. But I know I’ll miss my clingy baby when she gets older ❤ I love getting extra cuddles

@@VarneyFamily Kaylie, you are a gorgeous woman, and such a loving Mom. I know you can do this. Using hydro-cortizone cream always helps when I have flare ups. If that doesn't work, aquaphor or Vaseline should help. I hope this helps ☺

I am telling this from experience. Having kids is the most beautiful and most heart breaking experience ever. There will always be struggles, there just keep changing as they grow up. Always remember that you both are best parents your daughters could ever have. Where do get all this wisdom and so much patience, while being so young. Your daughter are blessed to have parents like you both and vice versa. Kids have a magical way of growing up. It seems hard, but it will get better.

So you know Isla is probably clingy partly because she is so uncomfortable with the eczema. You know you are doing everything you can to treat or get rid of the problem. Isla is only one so please don’t worry about school, yet. Keep praying and your subscribers that pray, will pray with you for Isla and have faith she will get better. I know it’s easy for me to say as I’m not her parent, but I had worrisome issues with my kids, like depression and anxiety for my daughter and Asperger’s with my son and now they are both fully adjusted adults. Keep up your faith and God will take care of you and Isla. Bless you and your sweet family. I believe things are all going to work out.

Awe 😢😢 So sorry Kaylie and Mason!! It's so scary as a parent when something like that happens! 😭 Soy allergies are so difficult, my heart goes out to you guys! Unfortunately, it is in soooooo many foods. My kids and I are really sensitive to it too. It's a struggle, but you get better at scanning labels. And don't worry about school, most schools are good about protecting kids with allergies. I bet her Eczema gets tons better once you eliminate the soy from her diet. Watch for soy lecithin too, I can't even have that in small amounts. 😢 You've got this guys, you're wonderful caring parents and we're all praying for you!! 💜💜💜

This is going to sound crazy, I don't know if anybody's ever told you but breast milk on eczema actually helps. I know it sounds nuts but if you wanna try putting your breastmilk on where she has a bad patch just to see if it would work. It won't harm her, but just to see if it would work because I know a lot of people have done it and it helped but again it all depends your baby and everything like that but don't for a second feel like you are less than anything. You are an amazing mother and you live your life for your three babies and you take care of them amazingly you are an amazing mother what you have to learn to start doing is taking a little time for yourself , not only do you need it? You deserve it. I've been watching you from the beginning. You've got this and you're an amazing family. God bless you all.

I wouldn’t stop breastfeeding until I was two so don’t worry, my mum went through the same thing you’ll get through it but just soaking all the moments that you have kids and babies then they don’t like to get picked up anymore and be cuddled, mostly on the phone all the time.❤❤

So, I did not have this as a baby with soy but I did with lactose. If this helps to know, its going to be hard and I feel this pain because I was in pain as a baby too and they didn't test me for lactose allergy. Finally we figured it out and we had other options for dairy, but it was a long road. Just know you are doing the best you can an hopefully if this does continue as she gets older Isla will be able to vocalize fabrics and lotions that feel good on her so it is easier for you to help her be comfortable.

You guys are doing everything possible AND without a support group nearby! I can't believe that the doctors aren't finding answers for you! Have you exhausted every medical option? Despite all of the challenges that have come your way lately you have created a fun and loving atmosphere for the kids - as for us! I know it's hard to remind yourself that it won't be this way forever. There are so many "what ifs". I've got grandkids and I've found that the thing that works for me is to remember how many low points we've had over the years and yet we recovered over and over again and are still going. Kaylie, you and Mason are great parents. I know you are so worried about Isla and her future. However by then she may have outgrown much of this. And if she does have allergies, she will learn and so will you, to have alternatives. You really don't want to pity her. Babies are smart, and Isla is really smart, and pity just causes more issues. And it all causes unhappiness. How about walking this burden up to God and asking him to take it. It's so much on you, and leaving it to God creates new avenues of healing for everyone. I've lived with a disease called mast cell. I have constant rashes, eczema and allergies. Honestly Kaylie I've learned organic food, fragrance free products, especially for sheet and creams and showers help a lot. I've not been tested for soy but I stay away from it. You may want to read up on GMO foods. Honestly Kaylie, in the end Isla may help everyone be healthier and wiser. My prayers are with you friend. You're not alone. And such a beautiful Easter you and Mason did for the kids.

Idk if you will see this but I would try to find a functional medicine doctor who takes pediatric patients. I had eczema out of the blue several years ago although I'm an adult. I have had episodes periodically throughout my life and no one could help me. I also went to an allergy doctor who was absolutely no help. I am allergic to certain things which I already knew about. Anyway, I started researching and found out that I was having histamine over-reactions from food. This often won't show up in allergy tests however but the histamine levels in food are much higher the older food is as in frozen, canned, fermented, etc. Salicylates and oxalates also can affect histamine levels. There are a lot of Facebook groups that have great ideas how to FOD map for foods that can cause reactions. Good luck to Isla!

Don't worry alergies are pretty easy to live with, you just have to take safety procedures like ensuring Isla always have an antidote with her, and the school she goes to are aware of her allergi, beside most allergies disappear over time.

I would get a second opionion for the allergist and take her to a dermatologist and tell them you dont want steroid treatments there are treatments they can do. Light treatments helped my kids. You just have to be firm with the doctors and make sure they know you know your not a complete idiot but you know you dont know enough to do what she needs to get better. You are doing what you need to to help your daughter get better.

    • @izzy12285

Yea I second this. Bamboo sleepers and creams Will help with the symptoms but won't solve the root of the problem. She needs to get a second opinion from a dermatologist, preferably a pediatric dermatologist who will find other solutions and she needs to get a full allergen test because once you cut out all of her allergens her eczema will go away. You have to be firm and stand up for your kids because doctors will just shoo you away

With allergies she shouldn't eat out in the restaurant, it is hard but rather bring her food from home which you can control and know what is in the food. She is still small ,you can easily figure out what food she can't eat, but I am sure you did research on how to deal with the allergies. Don't worry too much it will get better when you will know how to deal with it.

I've read that eczema is an inflammatory condition and related to Candida overgrowth in the digestive system (Candidiasis). So high sugar foods, highly processed foods, breads, sweats, baked goods and even very sweet fruits can exacerbate this condition. An anti-candida diet can help keep the overgrowth in check and bring back balance to the gut's microbiome, eliminating eczema and other topical flare ups. Topical remedies like creams and lotions will NOT get to the root of the issue. Please, please, please do some research around Candida overgrowth and how it impacts the body. Then talk to a physician before moving forward.

Most schools have kids with allergies sit at a separate table during lunch just so they don’t eat anything they are allergic too. Plus you can give the school nurse an epi pen and they will give it to her if she has an allergic reaction. One of my granddaughters had eczema as a baby and it was pretty awful. But it miraculously went away when she turned one. Now she gets patches of it on her hands and legs now and they are hardly noticeable when she does get it. Please stop saying how clingy she is. She will be looking at these videos when she gets older and it may make her feel better. Plus now that she walks she seems to be more independent.

I just found your channel. My recommendation is to switch your daughter over to EVERYTHING, All Natural & Organic products. All Natural & Organic food, drinks, soaps, shampoo, laundry detergent, creams, lotions, toothpaste, deodorant, baby powder, etc., and don't use dryer sheets or fabric softeners when you wash her clothes. Also switch her clothing over to All Natural & Organic fabrics (i.e. Organic Cotton, Linen, Bamboo Fiber, Hemp, etc.), and stay away from all the Synthetic Petrochemical Products like Polyester, Nylon, Rayon, etc.; switch her bedding over as well with All Natural & Organic sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. Start using All Natural & Organic products to clean your home as well, and don't use synthetic aerosol sprays (synthetic air fresheners wreak havoc on my allergies). Basically, if the Ingredients read like a Chemistry Experiment, put it back on the shelf. For her diet, try to eliminate Artificial Colors, Artificial Flavors, Artificial Sweeteners, Additives, Preservatives, Fillers, and Genetically Modified Organisms / GMO's. Some Artificial Dyes are known to cause a myriad of health problems including eczema and other kinds of allergies. Personally, I'm convinced that all of the Artificial and Synthetic products that we are exposed to on a daily basis are the primary culprit for the myriad of health problems that are plaguing our society.
I wish you the best in finding solutions for your baby.

It _is_ unfair, cause Isla's just a baby. Almost brought me to tears. And yes, DO homeschool her. Just remember, even _with_ both parents at her side in the Japanese restaurant, something unforeseeable happened. It happens. But sending her off to school will magnify the "unforseeable" a hundredfold. You cannot guarantee that the school will adhere to your instructions (about not giving her anything with soy) 100% of the time. These things can't be left to chance.

Go see a different allergist, and the moment you get in that office you tell them “this is what happened with this other person. Here are my expectations. If you don’t agree with what I want please explain to me why instead of dismissing my concerns.” You’re a young mom of three and you’re gonna have to be assertive because there will always be people to dismiss you. It sucks, but it is what it is. When you talk to a doctor about the miso incident, don’t forget to mention that you guys were in contact with bunnies not long before. If she’s sensitive to that, her immune system might have been already fighting when you introduced another allergen and increased the reaction.
