Automatically reset the timer with OpenTX

In this video, we look at how to automate the resetting of the flight timer in OpenTX. On a previous video, Richard F. Adams asked about getting the throttle percentage timer to reset automatically when you swap the batteries over. It's one of those things that is easy to forget, I've forgotten enough times too. This will put an end to that.
I've included two methods of achieving this in the video. The first just uses your arm switch, so will work with anything. However I would highly recommend the second method, as this guarantees that the battery has been disconnected. Well, that or you've had a fly away. The second method uses the existence of RSSI to see if you still have a connection to the plane. If you're disarmed and there has been no RSSI for 20 seconds. It's safe to assume that the timer can be reset, and that the reset won't be accidental. The only downside is that the receiver must support telemetry.
Even if you know how to set a flight timer; I recommend watching the Setting the timer section. There is a tip in that section that shows how to stop the timer counting when the model is disarmed, but the throttle is up.

Can you have the transmitter count the the total H:M:S flight time at the same time as elapsed flight
