Metzen returns and WoW suddenly appears to have "focus" again, that's not a coincidence ...
You think they made 1 expansion and planned 2 more in less than a year since Metzen got back - especially with him being like a consultant at first? I love that he's back, but he's not the one guy running the show.
I think its a mix of things but its just so cool to watch him talk about Warcraft!
@@FancyTophatDude that's also true, I know there are a ton of people on the narrative / lore team creating the future plot points for WoW
@@FancyTophatDude Well actually if you listen to one of the interviews with Holly Longdale & John Hight they said it was mainly Metzen's decision to do it this way.

What they don't understand and still don't understand is that yes, we have been playing for 20 years. And guess what? We are grown up now with our own families and kids and jobs, and we dont have the time necessary to dedicate to the game to be competitive anymore unless we are playing like we did when we were younger. The game has not evolved with us in that respect and has gotten worse with the Grind. I stopped playing because I could no longer justify the time necessary to play the game for as long as was needed. I hope they understand this.

well its not only for you or your generation, there are more poeple younger people
The game has totally evolved with us. Whats a "grind" for you? You can get easy good ilvl alone from World Content. You get a raid item if you do 5 timewalking dungeons. You can do 1 M+ Dungeon a week and you get an heroic raid itemlvl per week. There is literally no grind required anymore for anything. Maybe Mythic Raiding but thats about it. Just learn to play at your own pace. You get good gear everywhere. Game is the most casual it has ever been.
