They spending more money, because everything gone up. And for the seating times, nobody wants to be rushed when placing a meal,we're on holiday time to relax and chat and a few drinks. One time there was a mention that all inclusive wasn't a good thing, that they wanted tourists to support the locals, back to all inclusive 👍

It seems a bit bizarre that restaurants/bars wish to put a time limit on your stay. It was not so long ago that they were empty, nobody was going abroad. But now people are travelling they want to rush them out the door, that is crazy 🤪 x

Hi Ana, great vlog. Good reminder to people about staying safe in the sun, as Benidorm is experiencing very high temperatures. Keep up the great vlogging x

the only thing people can really do about that time limit in bars is to vote with your feet and boycott them. Im sure for every big bar being arseholes about times there are plenty of little bars welcome for people to have a coffee and not hassle them.

Gosh whatever next 😖 thats not good weve decided on tenerife this year going to give benidorm a miss we come every year to benidorm sometimes twice a year but that is very off putting, holidays are for relaxing and enjoying yourself not having time limits on food & drinks. Thanks for the update Ana ❤️

Its bad enough being constantly hassled to buy drinks in some bars when your glass is still half full but this would put me off going into certain places. Worst place for this is Palladium and Talk of the Coast where every 5 mins the waiters are constantly pushing you to buy more drinks and screw up their faces if you ask for a diet coke or water.

I’m not going to Benidorm this year , to many problems. Issues at UK airports, that’s if your flight is not cancelled. Problems at Alicante airport. Now time restrictions in the bars and restaurants. Tourist tax on the horizon. I can see the all inclusive restrictions they have implemented in Majorca. Spreading all over Spain.
    It could be goodbye Spain

We are retired and have been visiting Altea for around 5 weeks in early Autumn for the last 5 years. We travel by vehicle, bringing a motorcycle. We have rented a Condo on the front for the last 3 years and have one booked for this Autumn. We normally eat early evening so it is unlikely that restaurant/bar time limits will apply. When we eat out we eat relatively expensive evening meals and would tend to avoid anywhere that applied a time limit.

      @BenidormbyAna  Před 2 lety +1

I haven't seen any major limitations in Altea just yet 😊👍

Lots of places do that over here. It seems harsh but some people just sit there gabbing, hogging the table. An hour and a half is plenty

Was at levante club for2weeks. But found lots of people there for 3 4 5 days. Where as before minium stay was 5 days. Not many people were there for 1 week or 2 weeks. Also there was more groups of people of 6 . In these breaks. Hotel was never like that pre covid

We will just use the establishments that don’t have a limit. Some nights we are in and out in an hour for a meal other nights we will have the meal and stay and watch the Rugby or Football. It sounds like Benidorm & Spain are just putting things in place that will put tourists coming and spending their money. People will be quite happy to go elsewhere, where their custom is appreciated. 🌞⛱🏖🩳

As long as the time limits are realistic, then I'm OK with it. I've been to venues especially in the Old town where they are smaller venues, people sit nursing a caña for hours whilst the bar owner is having to turn people away as there is no seats available. I don't think someone should be able to hog a seat for an hour or more when they've only spent €1.50/€2.

    • @RGW851

Totally agree with you. We always stay in and around the old town and we've noticed this a lot. Just one person or a couple sitting at a table with hardly anything left in the glass .and there's 5 of us wanting to sit down and order drinks. It's really annoying. I think the bar managers should ask there people to leave..

Hi Anna, I suppose I. An see the Spanish point of view of limiting the time we spend at a restaurant ,it means they can make more money, it actually happens in Britain too, they do tell you when you book or turn up though. Looking forward to coming to Benidorm in September.

then many people who enjoy dinner and drink will certainly not visit these places anymore is very unheard of to give people a time limit in this time as well

  • @eileenleech

So it will mean no leasurely meals. Seems very strange, you might have to wait 15-20minutes for meal so food will be rushed..no not happy

I see it from both sides, some poeple just sit down in bars & cafes on the terraces and make one drink last for hours = no good for the businesses, but as long as bar owners are sensible, Im ok with it
