- So imagine you drop your car off at a professional shop to get some work done, the owner tells you 7k for the wrk, I agree, pull up 2 weeks later pay 7k pick my car up and a new light comes on immediately, I take the car right back and owner calls and tells me another 11k to fix my car from a suspension problem all of a sudden, so you know Diggs, I feel it’s some funny shit goin on, and this is what I find out!👀

Sad when there is not an issue when paying for repairs but when you want a refund there is so much red tape. If you treat your customers well then you get repeat business. Having worked at two shops ill tell you road test before and after are required, sometimes 24 miles to cycle and make sure Check engines don't return and setting tire pressure monitors that run off ABS sensors, shit like that. Transmission relearn for shift points you are supposed to do that test on an airport runway strip so u can drive straight for a decent amount of time

These guys have been caught out racing other vehicles on highways, going to the casino, strip club, and putting 100 miles on the vehicle joyriding.
Also, getting tickets and not even telling the owner of the vehicle about it..
I'm not talking about legit work, i'm talking about disrespectful foolishness, there's a difference.

That’s shady af. Customer cars are always supposed to be repaired/upgraded, cleaned up and ready for the person to pick up the vehicle. Back when I did brakes and alignments, I took the car around the block once to make sure it was good to go, parked with the keys in the office. Nothing more should be done after the shop is done with it.

I built custom cars for quite a few years, including working at Barris Kustom, and I never, not once, took a customer's car for a joy ride. There was no way I was going to take a chance that someone might run into me when doing that. And I sure as hell wasn't going to hot rod it. That's just flat out stupid as one can get. I didn't even like delivering a car to it's owner, but when I did I drove that car like a grandma and did my best to stay away from other cars.
