Thank you so much for taking the time to do this and share your knowledge! I've been wanting to build furniture with Danish cord and the resources to learn how to do so are pretty limited. I believe I have the only book on the subject as it is! What I was always uncertain about is, is how critical (or not) the spacing and amount of nails is... or if there is a particular formula for figuring out how many are needed for each side.
I go for 8mm spacing at the ends and 30mm on the sides (my cord is around 4mm)
It’s important to start marking out in the middle and work your way out to each end - so the weave is centrally located…

Can you tell me where to purchase the nails you use during your demonstration. My husband has dementia, 94 years of age and loves your videos. We want to purchase what you use to put a small piece together. We have watched your video all morning. Thank you. Don was a magical woodturner for 20 years or so and we are trying to keep him stimulated without using heavy equipment.
