Here we go again đ

- ** I guess the Ideal 10 won't be back, due to the window that was cracked/broken from trying to haul the unit to the field that night. Atleast that's what I was told, so I ll have to do an Ideal 10 summery video at a later date because I didn't expect the combine not to return - after all, it still has Sally my Milwaukee greese gun! đ đ€·ââïž đ€Šââïž
** Once we get Ashytn's Ideal 9 back up and running, we'll move yet again - yeah I know, we move alot! đ đ€·ââïž
** Again, just another day at the office, and no.. We are not taking the time to change out the concaves, we are getting close to being done harvest đ
Oh man that looked epic when all of the combines came at the same time to load their headers to the trailers.
Good afternoon Mike.. It's been great watching your harvest videos.. As always, thank you for the tag along â€ïž â€ïž â€ïž
That was a pretty kool shot of the three combine's coming in simultaneously to load their headers on the carts. 100% at random, but 100% perfect timing. Couldn't do it again if ya tried. It looked almost like out of some "space" movie where ship's were coming in for landing...
Plural is not possessive
I actually got goosebumps when they did that
Hi Mike,
I repeat my question from the last video: Could you give us an overview what your usual crop distribution is? Like:
20% Lentis
20% Canola (havn't seen any)
40% durum wheat
15% chick peas...
And what else you might grow rye, oat, barley....
Thank you a lot!
On those combine need bathrooms and kitchens. You'll really need them. Great video. God bless you all and stay safe.
Nice to see the team, to see Ashtyn and the guys at the end of a long (harvest) season. You're awesome you guysđđ
Some evaluating remarks maybe on this years' harvest, on possible lessons learned? On what structurally to try to change maybe or continuing on the way forward? On soil treatment, seeding, fertiliser use, spraying, harvesting procedure, or anything else.. Just curious how it goes.. đđ
Hey Mike,
It is good to see your mentality and optimism in agriculture :D Its a good example it can be done that way, and nothing will be better worse if you are worrying about weather, yield ect (Around us it is the common way unfortunately). :D
Btw. exellent content as always
Another great đ đ đ videos. Thanks Mike
You need to âREMEMBERâ what Ashtyn got you on Valentineâs Day.
Lack of memory is a good way to get in the âDog Houseâ
đ€Łđ„°đđ
Also make sure you don't loose it in the field đ
Thanks Mike love the videos keep them coming
Glad we got to see the 10! Was short lived but it was awesome to see in action and not in an advertisement! Thanks Mike!
đđđ
I love this gang! So positive, so much energy and super caring for each other and have each others back. Stay safe out there :-)đđ
Best of luck the rest of the way on Harvest 2020 Mike and crew. We have 250 +/- acres of Canola left to go east of Calgary. But the weather is now a little bit of a fight. Hopefully we can get it.
Thanks Mike! Enjoyed the video!
Mike you make amazing videos keep up the good work! đđ»
What a sweetie! Combininâ and cookinâ. đđȘ
Big hug, Mike you should know corona is still angry.
So finally you got your hands on a 60ft header.
Btw, couple of videos back you talked about rotary vs walker combines, John Deere still makes walker combines, T series, neighbour farm that i help during summer here in Sweden has a T670
11:48 wow talented, making you a meal, while combining...that's definitely a keeper, lol, cheers.
Thanks for another great video mike!
âNo big dealâ đ€Ł Iâd be pissed if I was having to start welding on such a new machine.
What ever happens u lot keep smiling which is awesome đ
You guys are awesome!
i love following you around. tx
You sure are lucky to have her but yes stay on the other side of the field especially after chili
Hahah đ đ
@@mikemitchell2554 What happens if Stuck is even between 2 or 3 people hmm đ€ curious to know
Who are you weird people who choose to click unlike? One of the funniest and most interesting pages on CZcams. Love you Mike and the other guys. You are number 1 for me!
WOW, you talk about having a Fleet, you sure do.. are you the logistics manager?? The video the other day was amazing, with Your "Fleet" driving down the road... I live in Connecticut,USA,and seeing your vast land of crops, the fleet, and planning to make it all work Thanks đđđ
deepwoodguy2 could you imagine seeing this equipment on the side roads of CT you people drive way to crazy đ
@@nealfigary3288 Hmmm, not us , you must be thinking of the drivers to the north of us in Massachusetts đ
Great video Mike
Canât wait to see the secret honey bee! And it seems like Ashton is getting a bit more comfortable w the camera which is great because u guys are hilarious together!
Did you watch the video? Mike said he can't put the new header on CZcams.
@@anderleof he said not yet. Has to wait for the ok from honey bee. Unless I heard wrong.
@@matthewdowd4686 12:55 you can see it for a hot sec
@@IanTpennington I did see that. Lil blurry but she was there.
@@matthewdowd4686 He said he âsigned a piece of paper saying he wouldnât do any YouTubing with it.â
Ashtynâs combine with a âHot Plateâ should be a standard feature on the ideal 10.đœ
Yeah put a hot plate on the back of the buddy seat and make it flip down
Is there a hot plate in her combine? Didn't see it?
@@Warrior6350 Ashtyn does indeed have a hot plate inside her cab to warm up mealsđœđ„
@@gavinperry7237 That sounds nice, is there a Video where it's better to see?
@@Warrior6350 I am going to have to rack my brains on that as I know Mike has mentioned it a number of times in various videos. I will send Mike a request to video the inside of Ashtynâs cab but since she is somewhat camera shy we will see what results Mike gets.
Love the content keep it up
11:39 sure nice looking 55 or 60 foot header right there ;)
And my uncle calls me crazy for tarping my window on a hundred mile haul. That really is unfortunate for you. I feel like a day and a half isnât enough to get to know a machine thoroughly enough to spend a million dollars. Stay safe!
Shields in some situations need to be left off.....they can hold chaff and straw and cause fires and cover areas that need to be inspected.
That spoolup at 5:37 sounded awesome
mike , i`d love to meet you and your crazy gang , but alas i`m in the uk , keep up the great vids dude , i love-em
Just keep getting er done.
You sir, as they say Married up!
Glen - Hey Mike, we have this new header we would like you to test out on that ideal 10
Mike - heck yeah! The ideal 10 vieos did well, it would be awesome to show the world your new product!
Greg - ...but we don't want you to put it on CZcams
Mike - đ€...đȘ
Bahaha đ đ€·ââïž
Why did Greg get involved in this conversation between Glen and Mike?
@@FoodwaysDistribution Because Glen ran with the 10
Mike - OK Glen if that's how you feel make some room at your place as I'm bringing the 6 x 50ft Honeybee headers back to you and replacing them with new 60ft Drapers, they love my CZcams video channel!
She is taking good care of you!
Cmon lets see the 60 foot HoneyBee. Hahahaha. Must be the header they were building for NASA hahaha
If Ashton doesnât want to be on camera then you should do a day in the life of frankels
Yes Frankels needs to be on more videos
just had to thumbs up the video when you say "surprise" :D
lol the ending was very funny, stay on your side of the field haha
Ashton sure does look after you well Mike ! You have an Awesome wife.
Is it just me or does he not look like Chris Griffin from Family Guy?
Yes
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Hummm Chilli... Love this ! Any other surprise than the headers ?
Glad you didnât burn down Ashtynâs combine as the repairs were being done.đ„đ„
Ashtyn's so cool !
A sense of humor is essential in relationships haha :) Have a good one!
Nice video Mike.
Man I just want to see a Claas in Green in your field so bad!!!
Hello to my neighbors to the North Would love to work with you through the fall one day
Here we go again,
we're out of our medicine,
Out of our minds and we want in yours: let us in.
The title suits your character Mike , I wonder if it was deliberate?
Great as always Mike, keep them coming buddy, I do miss farming but not on the scale of you guys.
đ good job.
I guess, Claas has to send you the new 8900 lexion to try this new honey bee header đ
Honey bee is mmm not Ideal either.
Macdon definitely has a better transport
Hi Mike, I enjoy watching your videos , Stuart Marshall, Kyle Sask
Lol I said did you have a bigger header or did you just run the 50 feet. Be nice to see the combo as like the 10 with a 60 foot header. Stay safe all Ady from UK
Hey Mike what about the claas dos it come around your farm??? Then you now what you need to change the ideal tođ€Șđ€Ș
Enjoy the farm vedios keep making them awesome
You need some aussie comb trailers for those headers man.
Your awesome Mike
So she drives combine AND cooks inside the cab??! Thatâs awesome!!! Does she have a sister...? Lmao. Kidding not kidding lol
Well Mike, ur the chillest guy when it comes to farm equipment that are broken down. Other farmers would throw there had on the ground and leave the combine or whatever it is standing in the field and leave itđ but I love ur videos man, keep it upđđ
That's cos hes so used to them combines breaking down đđ
@@JohnDeerefan-fo1qp agreed ma dudeđ
love the vid
Mike Mitchell trademark: "Soo..... Umm.... Yeah...."
âGive or take...â
"So Mike we have a question"
Scruffy 61 my favourite lol
common!!!
Very common phrase in farming, It is what it is .
Hi Mike, new to watching your vids, they are unreal. Where do you fit in at the farm whatâs your story
That 60foot on the Ideal 10 would be awsome to see it working đąđ Agco please give the 10t back to Mike đ
12:33 Ideal 9 and ideal wife! cant get any better than that
Seen a photo on Facebook today from kindersley. Looks like Coutts agro got your x9 demo
wow exatly a year old... nice and if mike see's this keep it up
Good video đ
A normal header kart I guess won't fit them but will it cause im sure they make them and it be much simpler then using a two piece.
Not good morning ! iÂŽm having lunch right now ;)
Just wondering, do you have to chance the concaves for every "fruit"
Is it common on the fendt combines, cause in my john deere i just change the distance of the gap (remotely) and I'm done. Or is it just because chickpeas are so much bigger than wheat, rye, barley?
Yeah, that's why. The chickpeas are 4x as wide as the grains.
Do you mean the gap between the rotor and the concave ?
WOW!! Quite a sizable operation. How many acres in total do you farm ? How many employees do you have at the busiest time ? Do you keep a full-time mechanic on ? Good Lord, Iâd hate to be paying your bills ! Great video, sorry for all the questions.
What do you do with the transports when they are not hooked to a header?
Will you be demoing any more combines this year.
Sounds like the X9 showed up
Edit:Idk but the hopper says Lexion to me
Combine go brrrr
Definitely the new 60 ft flex head
Have you seen the new fendt 21 the are pretty sweet
So if the I10 is gone do you just have to wait for your new replacement for next year or?
Have you or are you going to replace the burned combine this season
Mike, what is the total acreage you are farming? I was not able to find the info. Thxs
More Ashton Please!!!!! :D
I agree! đ
I'm surprised you guys don't have a small trailer for food/drinks. Or a small section of one of your POL trailers set aside for that. Have a small Generator/Inverter for cold storage/microwave duties. Just a thought.
The transport mode in those headers are a pain in the ass, something more easy? You have to be in 2 people to detach a header đ
it can be done with one person btw
Deere really missed an opportunity to showcase the new X9 on Mike's channel. With the the issues they have had with the Ideals it would have been the perfect scenario to see how it really compares from the perspective of an equal opportunity offender. Great stuff Mike and team!
It's time for a geography lesson. The TWP 100 'street sign' that flashed when rounded the corner marks exactly 60 miles north of the U.S.A. border
Have any of you considered how many hectares these harvesters do. It is impossible that there are no breakdowns
Hi Mike, 2 questions, have you ever forgot to combine a piece of land and have to back after you think you are done, second, you seem to handle stress well. Part of frame breaks on combineâ oh well, wait for welderâ. Do ever getâ what nextâ with a bit of exasperation?
What do you put in the bags
I see a claas in your future mike
Google Midwest 60ft draper front. Draper front made in Australia, would look good on front of the fendt.
65' honeybee I'll bet,I'm sure that's what they brought out now!??đđđđ»đđ»đđ»đ„
That one big ass header 12:55
60 ft plus 15ft transport hitch fun drive
Goodđ€
The ideal 10 still did more acres than the x9
