- What a whirwind this project has been. I am so excited to be at the tail end of it as we have big shifts ahead of us. While renovating this house has been an amazing experience there have been many life lessons learnt along the way and hardships that have shifted our life design outside of our comfort zone. More to share in the live. My sons new obsession is flowers especially after my mother in law passed away last April we live on her family farm and everyday he goes and documents the new blooms ☺️ every time we go anywhere all he wants is seeds and potted or bulb flowers..today we came across a bush of Azaleas and he said what a beautiful flower I’ll name one of my daughters that one day and thought of you and your beautiful journey and family much love happy Mother’s Day ❤️💐

Please don’t think of the house as your biggest mistake! As I near 50, married for almost 30 of those years I can promise you this: the hardest parts of our journeys and sometimes the mistakes we think we’ve made actually nourish the soil for greater joys ahead and give us stronger endurance for future challenges and this experience has deepened the well of wisdom in your life. You will draw water up from that well and look back on this experience (I promise!) with an astounding gratefulness in the future 💚

The house is looking fantastic! It will be sad to let it go, but I imagine a real sense of relief, but also the joy of a major accomplishment! Can't wait to see what's to come! On a side note- I was looking for ideas for (safe) bee watering cups. I clicked on a website and the name seemed really familiar. It was Buddha Bee! It was great info and really helped me figure out my design (I'm a potter). Justin & all the people ay BBA have done a great job with the info and have a really fun website.

Hey... I have a REALLY REALLY helpful hint for you when painting windows. (Wood frame) It looks as if your French doors are wood? All those little, while gorgeous, are such a pain in the ars to tape off! Years ago, I realize that if I just painted them without worry, I could take a razor after and just slice right up to the edge all the way around. Then scrape the paint off everywhere else. I should say that this always works for me! Lol!! Saves so much time not having to tape off everything!
Anyways... hope this hint saves you time one day!

Lady, you are a beast! Everything looks amazing! This house has been such a learning experience. We, after renovating an old house, now live in a timber frame house. No paint. No extra rooms. Lots of time in nature.

I really connect with your honesty about feeling like you made a mistake in buying the house. We sold a small house in a rural location and bought a larger house in a more suburban setting, it hasn't suited us or our lifestyles and it has been an expensive and sometimes painful life lesson. It's not easy to speak about it, as many people (wrongly in our case) assume that bigger means better. It has taught me to slow down and listen to my gut though. We make the best choices we can with the information we have at the time and we all keep learning! I hope you get to enjoy peace in your next adventures!

I hope that all goes well with the sale. If for any reason it doesn't sell easily or ya'll won't break even, I am a real estate investor and in this scenerio I would sell on seller finance or lease with an option. I have contracts and can advise if you need to explore options. Much Love.

House reno is NO JOKE! We bought our house 6 years ago and it has driven me to tears and also aggravation and even a little anger toward the previous owners... they laid carpet UNDER the topsiol in almost the entire yard a s a weed barrier. Only problem is if you want to plant something, it is impossible!

dood - I actually cannot tell you how much clarity this post gave me when I read it. I have struggled with so much of my identity tied into my work and through CZcams and the success found here through our home and how the bus defined a true milestone moment for us in life and I have been holding onto that. I really felt a release and excitement for the next version of Me and I am elated to have the opportunity to share it with you. I am finally sinking into the channel as a solo voyage and the bus was just a chapter. The future Juby is getting me jazzed and I am grateful to be Present Juby to fuel the embers into a flame! definitely - probably without our personal belongings since we have already started selling things and purging so the house is a mess. But our realtor is going to be staging it so that will be the tour video probs, or empty so it's a great before and after transformation. And I'll share the plan in the live stream at the end of the month. Its been a roller coaster ride trying to figure out what the next stepping stone was going to be, but we are excited

I must have missed something. What is the “mistake” part? You bought an older home that was affordable for you at the time. You worked your butts off renovating it. You stayed while your daughter was young and will sell it just as she hits school age. You will assumably make a tidy profit (market depending). I guess it’s possible you bought high and will suffer a loss due to a down turn in the market. Is that the mistake? Otherwise I just can’t imagine you won’t benefit from all the work you’ve done. It truly is beautiful.
Maybe the mistake was buying a house without seeing it first.
It's tough to have spent so much time, money and effort to renovate a house that you then don't get to enjoy. If they had purchased a property in a location with a good school, close to friends and activities, then they would actually get to enjoy the fruits of their labor for many years to come.
@@TaniaJordanova I guess I can see your point. I just was under the impression that the reason why this house was affordable was because it lacked all those points you mentioned. A house in the more desirable area that they now seek would not have been affordable at the time that they purchased this house. Hopefully they reap the rewards of all their hard work and will be able to use that to purchase a home in the more desirable area. I guess all these questions will be answered at the end of May. It is a shame they aren’t able to stay because the house is beautiful.

I agree the house has turned out beautifully… I feel though that you have trouble finding contentment anywhere. I’ve followed you for years and you always have some need to keep moving. Is Justin equally as unhappy there even with his business and family near? You seemed to want home and your things easily accessible and a work station back when you were in Mexico and the bus. I’m sure you’ll fill us in.
its a part of what we have processed in the last couple of years, chasing something that we don't know what because we have it all. Theres more to it when it comes to the house, but alas its a darkness that we are both working on through inner work

I actually don't love weed whacking, and he really does. I chose to do the mulch project. And theres nothing wrong with roles being reversed, Im empowered to know my strength doesn't depend on him all the time. I am strong, capable and independent
