Congratulations, mate. Mighty effort!
Thanks Mick
This channel deserves a lot more attention. Great camera work, wonderful commentary, and superb editing. I regret not finding it earlier!
Too kind… thank you
Unreal JM. The cold must’ve been a difficult obstacle. The decision to take the time to warm in the car was a good decision. I can’t imagine your headspace during these difficult moments of the race. Well done. “Keep on running”.
Thank you, I appreciate that
Amazing effort mate! What a challenge and a journey
Thanks mate 👍
142 km is incredible! What a rollercoaster. I can't imagine 24 hours of running in circles!
Thanks mate
When I read Coburg 24h , I expected a run in the 1000 year old city and not in this new building area. But despite that disappointment 😉, a great video with great insights. This running on the track reminds me of the Elbtunnel -Marathon. You are running in the tubes and see the same people over and over again.
Elbtunnel sounds like a cool event. I wasn’t aware of the 1000 year old city. Thank you
I visited Coburg, Germany, a few times and thought a 24h run there has to be cool.
The Elbtunnel-Marathon is 48 rounds some 20m below the surface. If you're a runner like me, you most likely are lapped several times in the first half of the race. But you will also start lapping other people. Finally you make your way to the top of the leaderboard, which they display at the finish line. When you drop out after you finished, the next guy is happy to be on top 😀. Unfortunately, I think they will not be allowed to do another marathon, when the reconstruction of the tunnel is completed.
you the man! well done, solid stuff even with crazy rollercoaster conditions!
Thanks Chris!
88 miles. Amazing. Great job.
Thank you (I had to think a bit, my head works in metric)
