Why are people so set on bashing the ps5? What it's doing is standard fare for what it's accomplishing. If you buy a PC that's worth like 5 ps5s then you of course should be getting a much better experience with graphics than a ps5. As a PC player I will help defend the ps5 because the game still looks good. I would totally have gotten the game for ps5 if i didn't have a pretty good pc myself.
Side note its funny that people haven't made fun of the game on lowest settings for pc. oh well that just goes to show how ignorant some "PC MASTER RACE" people are.

Been playing on PS5 in performance mode and the aliasing in the ship is pretty bad, but otherwise it looks good when in combat. Just have to make sure you turn off motion blur and depth of field on PS5 though.
You Can enable anti aliasing in settings menu. I dont have aliasing on ps5 After enabling this option

I play on ps5 at the moment but I been thinking about buying a pc so I could play a lot of older games I like with mods like Bo3 zombies and Minecraft but never knew where to start and how much I’m willing to spend.
But the more I see games with mods I’m like I NEED IT NOW
simple, start buying parts, for example buy case which is interesting to you, then check which CPU you would like to have you, then google which motherboard for that CPU will be best with the ram, then think about graphic card if you don't want to spend a lot buy used one, anything to 1K will in total will be better than PS5, all you need to do is a bit of research or just type in YT the cheapest pc build better than consoles and there is a lot of videos, trust me you won't regret it, adjusting settings is fun once you do that you can enjoy game or simply leave everything to dlss select performance or quality and it does the job for you

@@challenger516 Digital Foundry does that all the time, they haven't jet for this game, but it's a good point of comparation if you want to optimize the settings if it's need it.

@@lagunrivull want to put it on high settings to achieve ps5 graphics tho on higher resolutions like 2k and 4k the ps5 actually puts vegetation,effects,postprocessing etc to low which most console players see no difference in at high resolutions.for us graphics nerds its very obvious tho,even more so if u zoom in on objects.

1080p huh? In performance mode this game looks really blurry for a PS5 game. I think this game should be able to run at 4K 60HZ on the PS5... I've played games that look better and have more enemies on the screen than this game that run at 4k 60HZ. Turning up sharpness is not a great solution either since it causes artifacts around edges. Sometimes the game looks like a PS4 game that got a 60HZ patch without a graphics/resolution upgrade, it's my only complaint about this game.
You were fooled by Sony into thinking the PS5 is actually powerful when it's equal to 4 generation old PC hardware.

I wasn't fooled by anyone, as I said I've played many PS5 games that look better and have higher resolution than this game. This game is not taking full advantage of the console. 1080p is not the standard on PS5 not even in performance mode.
@@docnotL How do you know it isn't? This is UE5 right? The PS5 has already proven to not be able to handle UE5 games well at all. Look at the 20fps in the matrix demo. Look at the Immortals of Aveum. The PS5 simply isn't powerful enough.

I think a couple of patches will come out and it will be 1440/60+ FSR which will make the picture very similar to 4k, as happens in many games.
Very few games get resolution updates I don't know what you're referring to, with the ps5 pro yeah but not otherwise

I would say it depends on your hardware. If you use an AMD Radeon graphics card such as the one I have, get it on PS5 since the game doesn't run on Radeon GPUs right now. But that's the only advice I can give. If you use an NVIDIA graphics card like most PC gamers, you'll have to look more into how the game runs with your specs and your monitor's resolution and determine from there whether it's worth it or not.

The real issue is the anticheat has ISSUES. I even have seen people having to reinstall the AC over it suddenly failing on them. Which makes me consider the ps5 port for now.

If SOME people have to reinstall (likely a handful of people who have ridiculous antivirus software that continually flags and possibly removes it) then it's likely on them. Me and all my friends have been up and running on PC since day one with ZERO issues other than server load. Other than that it's a flawless experience.

@@SpartanPhazed so, I’m on a 4080 and I average 80FPS at native 4K max settings. The most intensive setting you’re going to want to lower is probably going to be Global Illumination. I’m sure you can find PS5 equivalent settings on Digital Foundry or similar on CZcams, and considering the PS5 is closer to a 2070 super in performance you’ll still end up with a very nice looking and performing game.

@@germansherman7707 yes, and the upscaled output is 1440p. PS5 By comparison is coming from an even lower internal resolution (likely with FSR) only to then be upscaled to a paltry 1080p output. That's not good. Don't kid yourself into thinking the PS5's GPU is somehow on par with a 3060 ti, because it factually isn't. Regardless, I'm on a 4070 ti Super anyway, but I used to own a 3060 ti and I would regularly run titles at much higher settings than the consoles. Watch Digital Foundry content for more of this sort of info.

Game is pretty fun but not as good as the original. Had a blast playing it online on my vita and ps3. What made the original game so good was you play with four others online and must work together doing certain task. Friendly fire is a thing so always try to be careful not to accidentally kill your teammates. You will be kicked out of the match if you do it on purpose. Remember every planet had different enemies. Like aliens, robots, humans, monsters, vampires. The more you progress the harder the game becomes. So hard I never beaten the game. Super fun though. Oh and everyone uses mics to communicate and it makes it easier. Helldivers 2 is great but no where as good as the original Helldivers
