- Since officially turning pro at the end of 2020, Gannon Buhr became the youngest-ever United States Disc Golf Championship winner when he captured the title in 2022 for his first professional Major victory, and the youngest Disc Golf Pro Tour Elite event winner at the 2023 Open at Austin. He was also the youngest player to ever reach a 1000 PDGA Player Rating when he hit the milestone as a 14 year old in 2019.
When choosing what goes in his disc golf bag, Gannon has a philosophy. “I throw the same disc on different angles, instead of throwing a different disc on the same angle,” said Gannon. “I don't carry as many discs as a lot of people do.”

@@kyleweir689 If money is what the timing is about then maybe. I think it’s more important knowing what a player threw during a major championship. But Gannon knows history and tradition of disc golf so his video is kinda early.

What happened with the proto M2?
I'm super proud of this young man for deciding to do the right thing and meet his obligations to this company. I also would like to point out how ridiculous a lot of the baloney that has been said about this plastic and molds is. There are several great pro's right now that are killing it with the Prodigy discs!!!
Which year discs?
The quality has gone up a little bit since they moved over to China, which really shows how terrible it was.
Also notice how he has a lot of old plastic, along with many pros, because the quality was a lot better back then
They can definitely recruit. Probably luck but Gannon, Isaac, and Alden definitely lead the pack for new players dominating the tour last few years.

Used to throw a PA-3, but got tired of carrying 3 chalk bags per round.

Wait!!! There is a 450 A2?!? I have never heard of that. I do really like the A2 mold. If prodigy fixes their flashing problem then I feel like they would really be on top of the world. I really like the PA-3, PX-3, A2s, H1v2 and D2 pro air that is really fun to throw. Really great discs in their line up. It just sucks having to sand down all the sharp edges whenever you get new discs.
They did a run of 450 glimmer A2s for his USDGC win, but was only available on the europe store. Actually, they're still in stock. 30 euros each

They fixed their flashing issue over a year ago
@@micah_lee Maybe they did. Maybe they didn't. I got some discs from them within the year that still had flashing. Maybe they were old stock but in any case, I needed to sand them down.
