  • Battery had finally arrived in which performance is the same gas the gas counterpart. over 2 years I have used this trimmer and has not failed me once.
For professional landscapers seeking a game-changing, battery-powered trimmer in a wrap-handle design, the FSA 135 R delivers. With the same proven drive and cutting components found in STIHL professional gas trimmers and powered by a brushless motor, the FSA 135 R provides professional cutting performance with the added benefits of low noise and zero exhaust emissions. With three performance settings, this trimmer is versatile enough for a range of cutting applications. Its weather-resistant design means it’s built for tough professional work, and its quiet operation maximizes productivity by extending working hours into the early morning and late evenings..
*Run time may vary based on battery type, charge level, and capacity, model, operating style, and conditions. Batteries and chargers can be purchased separately or as a combined set with tool.

This was a real in depth review along with what's going on with the switch to electric. The laws, battery life, etc. It's Inevitable!🤔

I bought 2 quads and put them on the wall in my trailer. I’m running 8 battery’s that get plugged in at the end of the day. We haven’t started cutting yet but so far we like them.

I often wandered about the chargers that hold multiple batteries! Only charge one at a time sad! Don't even talk about the blower battery I thought it was just me but after hearing soooooo many say the same thing🙃 And yes I have a Big Question? DID YOU HAVE TO DO THIS IN FRONT OF YOUR FREAKING POOL!!!!!!!! AND IN SHORTS!!!!!!!!!!😠 While the rest of us wait for the weather to break💯🤣👍🏾 Great informative video Jim BOb!🤣

Too much watts to charge at once. My single charger needs 335 watts to charge. You would need a 220 v outlet to charge all 4. Well the pool 🏊‍♂️ is to cold 🥶 to go in it just yet. Maybe 🤔 next month 😂

I may have used mine FSA135 in bicycle handle configuration beyond manufacturing recommendations and with all kind blades never have any problem. The weed line I may use it 20 minutes in one all year, very much mine I use it to cut and clear in forests heavy brush and tall grass. I am 100% happy with my FSA135 performance wish I can say the same with AP500S batteries, I have 4 AP500S batteries and 4 AP300S and I go one battery after another no problem with this machine.

Yeah batteries never seem to be long enough, hard to carry all the batteries in the forest too

@@CityScapesLawnCare Not only that, where are you going to charge the AP500S battery out in the woods if you are using the MSA300 chainsaw on a 45cm logs and after 11 or 12 cuts your battery is out of charge has it had happen to me many times?
The machines are great no question about, battery technology still light years away for professional use.

There are portable battery stations that can recharge, but honestly battery charging battery never makes since. Simple put just buy more batteries if you need them.

@@johntowers1213 if you really need that much capacity. Cost for the backpack vs the individual batteries as spares. I think the backpack battery is 1k so you can get 4 extra batteries for the same. Just got to do whatever you needs are.

    I am
Playing with batter my stuff now. Ryobi has been better for me this go round. I have focused on the brushless stuff. I know you mentioned you see Ryobi as home owner but their ratings are getting better. The battery cost for any brand is where the cost really is. Have you seen any decrease in longevity with the first battery yet.

No, the claim is 1500 cycles before it get to charging up to 80%. Not sure the life after that. Ok so what does 1500 charge cycles (full charges) if I use it for let’s say 5 days a week for 1 year that’s 552 cycles per year so 3 years and then it goes to 80% and we all know some of us don’t work 5 days a week all year. My bet is 5 years before it’s toast. That’s not too bad.

I have the inverter also but it serves no purpose because I must have the truck running and for that minus well use a generator. I have 2 rapid chargers, 4 AP500S, 4 AP300S, 1 AP300 and 1 AP200.

I think if Stihl knew this whole democrat EPA green movement was coming. When designing their commercial battery trimmers. They should of concentrate and been more concerned about how long those batteries will last on the high speed setting. Cause there are landscapers that do a fair amount of overgrown properties that are going to be using that third power setting and don’t want to have to replace the battery 2, 3, or 4 times in a work day. So I take it if your a lawn crew and u stick with already manicured weekly/ biweekly properties a battery on the first speed will last them good part of the day. That this units are really designed for going hard full blast property clean ups, banks and whatever else. I agree with you that these corrupt far left democrats don’t really know what the heck they’re doing and in return really hurting our country. Maybe trying to mean well. But shooting themselves and everyone else around them in the foot in the process. It’s funny cause I don’t hear or see a EPA green push from the Republican and or Independent side at all. All I can say is it’s a very very shady time we’re currently in.

Your not wrong, as heavy as the batteries are one would think you could longer runtime. For me and my small yards it's perfect, seldom do I need my 2 spares, on the average no more than 12 small yards. Guys that are doing ditches and acres the batteries will work but you need a ton of them
