I finally received mine mid June. It replaces my KM94R, in comparison the KMA135R has way more power and certainly more torque, gives full power straightaway, no need to wait forthe motor to get warm, no need to pull the cord, you can leave onto the grass without burning the grass with the exhaust. It doesn't bog down even when put the string against the ground, it just digs into the ground. The motor is super silent and generates very little vibration. It is a bit heavier with an AP200 then KM94R with full tank. If you don't trim all day long (low battery run time), I defenitely recommend this motor. It surpasses the petrol unit in many ways.

If one already has the attachments it’s the best solution. For those others a dedicated HLA 86 hedge trimmer might come more handy; it’s lighter and more flexible as far as the length adjustment goes. Now, this machine has more power and those 4.000 cuts/min, but is this a huge plus? Waiting for a sequel to this video. A great review as usual and an amazing gardener at work!

I agree, if your just looking for a hedge trimmer, the hla86 or hla66 would be a good choice, iv not used the hla86, but have the older hla85 and that's a really good machine, but if someone has the attachments, the kombi is perfect.

@@jasongardener3425 I don’t have the HLA86 either; yet. The dealer’s spring stock was not delivered till summer and then only in limited quantity; then the batteries went rare; after this another item was out of stock. I was listening to journalists and politicians that everything was normalising and thus I didn’t make a reservation; now I’m hopeful to get everything till September, if I pay one month in advance (reservation of sorts). Back to your machine; I think it will prolong your mileage; much more comfortable to work with than the petrol.

@@brayvdb2191 , it's a very specific machine. In other words - heavy. HLA86 length is easily adjustable, it's lighter and more flexible. The only real advantage of the HLA 135 is that it's more powerful and that is of little use for trimming tasks; it's a cutting machine.

Have been waiting on these for months now, wanted to trial before buying but have had to commit to buying without the opportunity to trial due to demand and availability. Hopefully mine will be in stock nearer the end of this month. I copied you and use a short shaft hedge cutter attachment with my 94......how do you find the balance with the short shaft and 135? Will be using 300 batteries so hoping it's not gonna feel too 'engine's heavy? Also, does the throttle feathering work well and does it hold consistent rpms? My 94 has never held consistent rpms when feathering, which is a pita when strimming/edging. Rpms drop off, line drops and then tries to catch. Nice review mate, been hoping inward gonna see your review before I spent my hard earned lol 👍

I have a hawthorn hedge, and I cut it twice a year, once about now in June, after flower, to shape it, and again later in the year when all the leaves have fallen.
The winter stems can be a bit woody, can this machine handle work like that?
I used to be able to get my hands on a 2 stroke Stihl long reach machine, not sure which model but I see the hedge trimmer attachments for electric and 2 stroke are very similar. It was an awesome machine, but I don't like the 2stroke fumes.
