I have tested Citi and Slavia, and both center seats are not comfortable. 4 persons can travel well. Next, AC is really good in Slavia. 1.0 turbo engine. Good pickup in Slavia. Wireless map ( City doesn't have ) But Citi looks more premium. Both are great cars. But 1.5 Engine in Slavia is not worth the money. Too much. You can buy City V variant ( 1.5 L engine ) ( V is a basic model that comes with curse control and many important features).
You are wrong on 1.5L not worthy. 1.5L has cylinder deactivation technology that city dont have. That's very modern technology. It way faster and smooth than City
@@sorumamu Agree, all said and done. But is it really worth 20 Lakhs for the entry level sedan from the VW/Skodas? There are other better driving cars if the budget is 20L. BTW City also has VTEC which serves the same purpose of saving fuel if cylinder deactivation helps reduce fuel consumption.

It's absolutely worth of money and features when compared to Slavia 1.5L

I'm thinking on Virtus too. I feel City and Virtus are better. However, 1.5 liter option is the good one. So thinking of City. Recently Honda has launched eHeV version too.. for amazing mileage (37 kmpl, tested by Autocar India)
Go for city or Verna..seat comfort and rear comfort is better on City and new Verna..I think Verna 1.5 NA top model is better vfm

Birla bro, what's you height? At 5.11 I couldn't sit behind due to no head room also knew position is also not comfortable at my height. Only 4 can sit not 5 for sure. AC is average not a great thing

Skoda 1.5 TSI is only for enthusiasts. Won't prefer 1.0TSI as 3 cylinders will cause issues in long term. Also Skoda uses Dry DSG gearbox in Slavia 1.5 auto which is not suitable for our conditions. Normal people will choose Honda City as it's more comfortable, Value for money, less maintanence cost and reliable in long term. Only issue is City doesn't have ventilated seats and Infotainment system not modern, it is pathetic.

Absolutely right! 3 Cylinder engine is just rubbish and moreover it's super expensive as well. Honda City ZX top of the line is just 16.46 while the 1.5 TSI style top of the line slavia costs 19.51. Top model 3 cylinder variant still cost 16.8 lakhs.
Even test drive this last week and even I believe in 4 cylinder over 3 cylinder, but this one totally different beast and white colour looks massive and drivability Vera level

Took an extensive test drive of the top end Slavia. Decent car. But nowhere close to the refinement and driving comfort of the Honda City. Plus, it costs a whopping 18 Lakhs for the top trim in my city, and I think that’s a huge stretch for a 1 litre 3 cylinder engine. The TSI engine has a long way to go before it can compete with an Ivtec. The rear passenger comfort isn’t as comfortable as the City.
I test drove every car in the compact SUV and Sedan segment between 13 and 28 Lakhs, barring the Renaults.
Nothing comes close to the overall driving experience of a Honda City. Not only is the City the segment defining car, it just oozes elegance .
Especially the 5th generation has gone leaps ahead of the 4th generation.
It wouldn’t take a lot to convince a true driving enthusiast to buy a sedan and especially a Honda City. They’d just know it.

@Birla sir... Two things to be noted.
1. Sunglass holder given in the top can hold sun glasses comfortably provided the glass is kept the other way( glass facing the top)
2. Ac cooling is pretty decent. Some changes like internal circulation mode needs to be on which cools the cabin comfortably.
Windshield will have a ticket holder which you have missed it.
The real cons are...
No one touch windows
Rear seat in the middle has a raise compared to two adjacent seats.
They would have given some hooks and tray in the boot.
In my experience .... Overall skoda is simply clever....
