Which rendition did you like most? Leave your comments below, plus who would you like to see next! Thank you!
Stalin and Mozart look like romance book cover models!! Smoking HOT! LOL
King Charles II rocks 🎸😅!
@@CobiewithaK he certainly did!
@@franckorphanos2998I felt a wave of sadness seeing Joan of Arc as well, knowing that she was so young when she died, burnt at the stake 😢
Many were terrific. I thought Bejamin Franklin @ 6:50 resembled James May.
Seriously, one of the coolest videos I've seen on CZcams. If they played that on the first day of history class, the kids would be more likely to relate to those historical figures, and learn a great deal more.
My thoughts exactly as I was watching, how different history classes would be with these pictures showing the people in a more realistic way. Excellent video.👍
Not just kids!
The teachers who taught history classes at the school I attended until graduation seemed to focus on memorizing dates and names.
It wasn't until I attended college that history lessons actually became more interesting, so students could actually understand its impact on our lives, culture, the whole world.
PhD in history here. This is an exciting video because it really humanizes these people. It's interesting how normal they look, and how difficult it is to relate to the historical paintings. For instance, the wives of Henry VIII all look very attractive now, while in their portraits it's hard to appreciate their beauty. I think I like Charles II as a rock star best. He basically WAS a rock star.
A very nice work , the ’modern’ rendition , in my humble point of view, it works!😊😊
I agree. Those stoic old paintings used to put me off and bore the hell out of me.
2:58 King Henry VIII lookin like he just won American Idol. LOL 😂
King Charles like Skid Row Guitaris
@@texasjack5391 🤣🎸
Or Sam Smith's special friend who did 'something unholy' with him at the bodyshop ...lucky lucky Sam :-)
...and he won by ordering the other contestants put to death.
If he saw that i think whoever created that image would lose their head. Literally.
King Henry VIII looking like he's ready to go on Britain's got Talent.
Looks gay…
Just couldn't stop watching once I started.
Once you pop youuuuu can't stop!
Florence Nightingale turned into a proper fox! Stunning video, and yes I agree with the comment below, they became so much more relatable.
Hello nurse!
Stunning transformation for sure.
I think Florence was perhaps the worse one - sorry but looked like out of a Carry on..
so bosomy
Hotttttttttt
Never would’ve thought historical figures looked so attractive! 😂❤
Sisi was gorgeous in ANY time period. Machiavelli too.
I'm sure bathing added to their attractiveness.
We´re all thinking of the same guy?😳
Isaac Newton!
The original paintings were really flattering to begin with, and the modernization added a second level of flattering. I wonder what they actually looked like in real life.
As a retired Registered Nurse (male by the way) I thought Florence Nightingale was totally gorgeous😘 Interesting factoid...She kept a pet baby owl in her pocket! She rescued it from some children who were teasing it. Sadly it died when she had to go away and left it in the care of another. Maybe she was channelling Athena?
The only thing the modernized Florence Nightingale did was increase my heart rate! 😍
The apples in Isaac Newton's background is a nice touch 😄
I laughed the hardest when Vlad Dracula looked like a homeless man.😂
Look again ... he looks exactly like Snoop Dog! Must have been totally gangsta the guy!
My FAV too! 🤣
A lot less threatening.
Yeah, there was no way he was going to look anything but crazy.
@@Unotch Want to know more about real life of Vlad? Check corpus draculianum 😉
It's poignant seeing them brought to life for a few minutes, Machiavelli still looks like he's planning something and Lady Jane Grey looks like a thoughtful teenager.
Their faces are full of character and intelligence, unlike the botoxed, plumped faces of some famous people.
Ironic, because most royals were uneducated and lazy, as well as overweight, since that was a sign of wealth.
Yeah, but the problem is that they still have those exagerated features that were made with intention by painters back then.
Even modern painters will exagerate with certain features that they find interesting.
I was hoping to see more realistic faces.
Nicolo Machiavelli looks like he'd be one of the guys with a show on Fox News, or at least a regular guest on Kudlow or Gutfeld...
shakespeare looking like he is the suspended member of bee gees..
Willem Dafoe can play Michelangelo and Adrien Brody can play King Henry VII, their resemblances are quite remarkable.
Amazing! And it makes you realize just how young all of them were at the peak of their popularity
Da Vinci : 👁️👄👁️
how do you verify this?
Just because a contemporary artist edited these images it does not validate 'how young they were...'.
Your realization is backed up by this artistic video, says a lot about your historical intelligence.
Most people lived to about 35 ... there weren't good medical treatment methods or medicine...so you can understand that the ones that lived longer were probably rich or well taken care of by their families.
@@hummingbir6 Your assumption that the OP didn't use the original portrait as a reference for their observation says a lot about your disposition.
Even more startling than Louis XIV being imagined as a punk rocker in a leather tank top, is having the Parisian cityscape in the background [complete with the Eiffel Tower built 174 years after his death]. Having endured scary times of rioting in the city as a child, Louis would always loathe Paris and spend as little time as possible there- which is WHY he built the gigantic Versailles Palace on its outskirts and ran all of France from there instead of its official capital!
Yes yes oui :)
Aww, oui vous êtes 💯 Sire, excellent commentaire.
Vive le roi!👑
Congratulations to the A.I. Well done to the operator who pushed the right buttons.
I swear I've seen some of these people somewhere. Faces keep being repeated. Fascinating!
This is so well done. I particularly love seeing my favorite composers come to life -- Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven -- capturing the mad rebel genius in modern terms.
And Mozart was cute
yeah that wild teenage musik
Yes yes. Beethoven looks so intense.
There is no way that I could pick my favorite! I absolutely love how they looked as Modern people! Such a great job with the styling of the makeup, hair, and clothes!
?? It's definitely great stuff but superimposing the faces onto head and clothed body images already there isn't 'styling', lol. The choice of setting / clothes models is good though.
ITS AI . It takes this person zero effort. Check out Sam Smith as Henry XIII 😅😂
THIS IS BRILLIANT! You've humanized and made all of those people from the past relevant. Thanks!
Vivaldi!! He's reincarnated as Ed Sheeran!!😂😆❤💖💗👍👍👍👍
I thought that too.
George Frideric Handel is SAM SMITH
Thank you for creating this video, it truly humanizes these historical icons and makes them more relatable. Excellent work.
umm *No.*
wearing modern clothing and having waxed hair *does not relate* to anything great of the actual historical figures.
If anything, it *dehumanizes* them by making them appear simpy, fit for modern day repulsive gen.
I just said the same thing - I should have scrolled down to see the comments. Agreed!
SIOURSLY wonderful to think to do this..bloody brilliant
It just goes to show how little we change, it’s just fashion and style. This was fabulous!
Julius Caesar looks like an accountant, Nefertiti like a top model, Vlad like a hippy from the early 70s, Leonardo da Vinci like a homeless person, King Charles II like Bryan May of Queen, Newton like a young university researcher, Jane Austeen like an employee in a large company, Queen Victoria as a head nurse.
Henry v111 was the most remarkable to me, seen as a present day young man, for reasons I can't quite explain. The whole video was captivating. 10/10.
The music made it.
Tasty, yet Tasteful. Definitely makes the portraits become human beings instead of "Icons."
I've spent a lot of time working with 3D software, but I'm a cartoonist, not a portrait artist. These "reconstructions" are satisfyingly _Living_ and relaxed, like candid photos, not like stiff formal portraits.
Thanks for the post. Helps give a bit more COMFORTABLE *_handle_* on history.
Holy Cow. Not supposed to get feelings like that for historical figures. One feels Transported...........
@anim8torfiddler871 One should know it's A.I doing all the hard work!
Some turned out very natural, but most remained “icons”.
Humanize them?
Just because slick hair and fashionable suits is analogous with your narcissistic desires driven by this contemporary hedonistic/boar gen, it *does not* make these portraits appear more humanly; if anything it tarnishes them, hence *dehumanizing* them; for in the icons, through their abstract, one can 'imagine' the greatness of these historical figures rather than degrade them to contemporary day utter fools.
Well said!! Yes they're just so much like us...we can really relate better this way!
I see Antonio Vivaldi version looks like Ed Sheeran.... lol Amazing job. Enjoy watching so much. Thank you.
Ed Sheeran and Franz Schubert
what great people have come before us, how humbling to just see the lineup of now long past celebrities, who'll never be forgotten for the great contributions that have helped pave the way to our ever-advancing civilization!
Absolutely exquisite. One of the most well done videos on CZcams. There were many moments of seeing the actual vulnerability of people usually seen as powerful in history books.
Well done! I loved how you made Florence Nightingale a modern nurse!
Yes I have always thought the Nightingale portrait was awful, she appeared ill and depressed but this enhancement is wonderful . And Henry VIII wow! he looks like a rock star.
apparently she also did her b00bs, lmao
Flo would look HOT today!
@@galnhus56 Agree! She has a British face, and a trendy body and hair style.
And a hot hottie
Napoleon and Henry 8 are frightingly realistic...
Handel and Bach. I would listen too them for DAYS while doing art. INCREDIBLE. Your inspiration of such a artistic new event.
The whole time waiting for Vincent Van Gogh! Please make a part 2! 🙏
5:42 Queen Anne, 7:22 Madame de Pompadaur and 9:12 Florence Nightingale. The transformations of these three have been gorgeous.
The modern Marie Antoinette doesn't look too shabby, either.
Flo Night is my favorite
Same ones I was going to pick. All 3 were stacked.
@@pargolf3158 She'd look even hotter if she had glasses on.
I'd be faking symptoms to keep under the care of Miss Nightingale for a while longer.
Vald the Impaler, put a guitar in his hands and he looks like a rock star. Catherine the Great looks like a very stern secretary, nothing gets by her. I would date half these men. Mystery Scoop...you are the best!
Thank you 🙏!…
I always thought Vlad the impaler is Zlatan Ibrahimovic's father. 😂
I wouldn't swipe right on Stalin though.
Look scary
Some of the women such as Anne of Cleves were friggin hawt. A few of them definitely had men chasing after them in their time...
Vivaldi looks like Ed Sheeran 😁
Fortunately, AI is fictional...
I am impresses by the clothing and hair styles you picked. It's easier to see what they looked like because their antique ensembles don't overshadow their faces. I enjoyed the fact Bach looks like an aging hippie. To a lesser extend Ben Franklin does too. Thanks and Cheers! This was fun,
Bach looks like a mix between Jeremy Clarkson and James May.
I can see Jeremy Clarkson for sure. Good call.@@fosterfuchs
King Charles II with the guitar. 😎
He looks like Joe Walsh.
I couldn't stop watching; this is fascinating to see them brought to life from old world portraits.
wtf with Vlad Tepes lol
It looks like Richard Edson
I like how you gave Florence Nightingale a decent set of breast implants.
And a chin job.
This is like traveling back in time and seeing the real faces of all these historical people. I like them alll, particularly Anne of Cleaves, nothing like old king Henry described her. Thank you for your excellent work.
this video is INCREDIBLE, thank you!!
Rembrandt........I Wept and cried.....BRAVO!!!
My Goodness, you almost gave this old snowman a heart attack 😮
This video is magnificent. Thank you ❤⛄
Thank you too... be careful! 😁
@@MysteryScoopI will 🙂
Akhenaten looks a lot more normal when you "see him in the flesh" so to speak. He always looks like he's an alien or something with his busts/murals.
Thomas Jefferson looks like a proper American president 😂
Absolutely fabulous! Thanks for posting this.
Love the fade in and out of history! Rembrandt and Bach look like an 80's synth pop band reunion photo and Queen Anne was stunning!
Mozart surely looks sharp even in modern days!
I could go on watching for hours. It's addicting. What amazed me was how attractive almost all of them were as modern people. With no change to the faces except to add a little natural color, they were transformed. Some royal ladies in the lineup were described as beautiful in their day, and I always cringed when I saw their portraits. But modern hair and clothes - beautiful!
Florence Nightingale is clearly the hottest one in the group. She is stunning.
I’ve always wondered about historical figures, how they looked in real life. Formal paintings don’t always capture their essence.
Marie Antoinette still looks a bit of a silly young girl (or, more charitably, inexperienced), and Mary I still looks a bit mental. All of them are much more relatable this way-well done!
I think she was 14 when they sent her to France in an arranged marriage. Delia Morris
Mary I is the sort of woman where you'd sleep with one eye open if she was your partner.
It would have been hysterical if you slipped in the Mona Lisa after Leonardo Da Vinci’s “modern” picture 🤣
Great video and work. Really makes you look at these people in a new perhaps more relatable way.
Wonderful! More please.
I wonder if they could do this with classic literature characters? It would be interesting to see modern renditions of well-loved characters such as Robin Hood, Jean Valjean, Quasimodo, Lemuel Gulliver, Don Quixote, Victor Frankenstein, Huckleberry Finn, Peter Pan, Dorothy, and I could go on for hours.
I continue: Claude Frollo, Rochester, Jane Aire, Raskolnikov and Svidrigailov......and so on and so forth....
Patrick:
That's an amazing idea. Which author(s) would you start with? Shakespeare is my first pick.
Handel- yngwie malmsteen
This was GREAT! Several of these looked like folks I saw at work. You’ve connected the present to the distant past!
Columbus is my neighbor
@@Neoyorchese 🤣🤣
@@lris-Rose it 's true hahah
Absolutely fascinating and breathtaking thought provoking! Thanks and very well done 👍 👏👏👏👏👏👏
This was very fascinating to watch its incredible how good looking these people are in modern form some was actually quite surprising lol
WOW! This is truly something amazing! I can't take my eyes off of how exceptionally these famous figures from the past would look in today's world! It's like witnessing history come alive in a whole new dimension!
This is why I enjoy your wonderful videos! You take these historical people and put them in modern times and make it rock! I can see them as real modern people! I like all the modern renditions! Bravo!!!!👏👍❤️❤️
Wow, thank you!
@@MysteryScoop You're quite welcome! You deserve it!👍😁
@@MysteryScoop. 👍👍👍👍👍. P.S. Привет из Киргизии
Wow! Thank you. Gave me goosebumps!
no way, not Mozart, I would have never thought that, that is amazing 😯
I absolutely loved them all. It's hard to choose a favorite. Maybe Joan of Arc? The change from their portraits is stunning. I watched several times. Fascinating. Everything is perfect. The accessories, clothing, background, hair, makeup, lighting, all impeccable. Thank you for all the work you do. You should get an award!
Joan of Arc and Catharine of Aragon ❣️
Agree....❤
I would like to date Thomas Jefferson.
Sally Hemings certainly did.@@ethelwilson1450
Each time I see the modern Rembrandt rendering, I see the actor Maurice Bénichou who played M. Bretodeau in Amélie (my favorite film). It makes me smile.
I loved his hair, wow!
my favourite movie as well, just so lovely, always makes me feel good
Brilliantly and tastefully done - each person in the right setting! Thank you...
Such a new expression of ART!! Well done!
I think this is one of the best CZcams videos I’ve ever seen. The lighting, hair, fashion and transformation is flawless. This sticks are to a whole new level to me.
Florence Nightengale ... what a hottie!!
I could say the same for Mary I of England... 😍
she looked like Catherine Zetta Jones to me.... nice.
This is really unbelievable. Thank you very much for this wonderful work.❤
I have seen many of these, but definitely by far this is among my best - I would have to say that over imposing or transitioning into the original with barely any alterations is what made it stand out, superb job. Have you though about gathering images from modern game images and see how they'll turn out as live action.
Seeing these historical characters looking like modern day people, reminds you that they were real flesh and blood people, which considering the things many of them did, is a scary thought.
Absolutely fantastic. The artwork, the editing, the music. You hit it on the head. Thank you so much for this!❤
Bravo!
Now this method really brought those people to life!
Thank you and keep it up!
I watched this video from the beginning to the end and I couldn't take my eyes off it. It was very spiritual expeirience I got for last years.
Wow. This is the best video of it's kind I've seen yet. Some of the original likenesses of these people or the individuals, themselves have always seemed kind of odd looking to begin with (ie: Abraham Lincoln, Joan of Arc, Nefertiti) and I kept thinking, "There's no way they're going to be able to pull this one off... " but they nailed it every time! I loved Mona Lisa and Thomas Jefferson but I think my favorite was Henry VIII. The transition sequencing was also spectacular. Thank you!
I'm sure the original artists took at least a few liberties with the paintings/busts (especially when it pertains to powerful ancient historical figures that could have you executed if they're displeased) etc. - this video basically just textures over/pastes the original heads/busts over AI generated/retrieved pictures of bodies when it's very likely the real people did not look like this.
@@yellowblanka6058
Yeah, I'm sure they didn't but this at least gives us an idea of what they might look like to us. I really like the way the artist put contemporary clothes and hairstyles on them
Amazing video! I was so moved! It was like finally getting to meet these enigmatic characters of times bygone and discover that they were "just" people.
It's amazing to me how much Elizabeth I and Diana are similar. Very cool video . Thanks
This is really mind blowing. Well done. Thank you for your good work.
Queen Anne was beautiful! Love these famous faces of the past brought to life! Thank you!❤
OMG this was amazing 😮 thank you! You create what we imagine and connect the future and the past making history accessible to everyone 🎉
Was für ein tolles Video! Tolle Arbeit und perfekt in die heutige Zeit transferiert. Eines der erstaunlichsten Videos, das ich je gesehen haben 🙂
Christophe Collomb look like famous french actor Coluche ! it's freightening how they look identical !
I swear Young Stalin once cut my hair in a Turkish barbers in Maida Vale.
It makes me wonder if 50 years from now someone takes a picture of me and re-created it back to life. Would it look like me, or would it look like a version me? It’s fascinating. I love these shows !
Congratulations! The exercise is very convincing. It makes these great historical figures come alive and feel closer to us. As someone interested in history, I find it very amusing… I love it!
Thank you very much!
This is amazing. Everyone of them you can imagine seeing them now.
When I first saw the title for this video, I thought:"And I need to see this-why?" But after watching, I think it's pretty, dang cool. Well done indeed. Thanks.
Maybe we shouldn’t rethink the title.. thanks for watching!
Interesting how Flo Nightingales breast swell to 2024 proportions as per historical accuracy.
This was Extremely awesome thank you so much
Das ist die erste KI-Verarsche, die ich hier bei CZcams sehe. Nun geht's los und schon bald kann man absolut nix mehr glauben. Genießt die alten echten Dokus, solange es sie noch gibt :-)
Queen Anne wowed me the most. In her modern portrait she was beautiful
I thought she was black
Wow, nice work! But if Henry VIII saw this, he probably would have drawn, hanged, and quartered you for making him look like the spitting image of James Corden!
Florence Nightengale looking absolutely smashing. 🥰 I can also see why Benjamen Franklin was such a ladies' man. 😂
Fantastic. One of two others if love to have seen. Passed this on to all my friends and family
That's really intense. 👌
The prettiest is "Florence Nightingale".
Catherine Zeta Jones
She could nurse me anytime!
Totally agree
A teacher or professor could take this video and make an entire course out of it. And it would make for some interesting learning. 📚📖
The biggest feature of this video is not that it places well-known figures from a bygone era in a modern environment (although that also contributes to the effect), but that it removes the small flaws that made these faces lose their reality. It is quite touching to see that faces that seemed indifferent until now were once real flesh and blood people....
@MysteryCoop Can you describe what software you used? I would like to transform the well-known figures of my country so that young people can relate to them more easily, too.
