I recently started to work with Mary Magdalene so I bought The Mary Magdalene Oracle by Meggan Watterson. I already owned an oracle deck called Oracle of the Roses by Cheralyn Darcey so i paired them and they pair AMAZING. The Rose Oracle is an archetype oracle and the archetypes are really good (some may think that since it's an oracle of Roses it's fluffy but it's not). For example - today I pulled "Golden Light - Healing comes from within" from The Magdalene Oracle and "The Outsider" from the Rose Oracle. It reminded me that this very teaching made MM an outsider, even with some of the apostles and certainly with what would become the Church. Not only do they look stunning with each other but the messages I get are so deep and thoughtful. The guidebooks are both good and a decent size, you get a good amount of info. It's like they were meant to be together and are now permanently paired for me.

Thank you for sharing your experience with these two decks. I have the Oracle of the roses and recently got MM revealed. Never thought these two would go well together, I'll definitely try and pair these.

I have been using Tarot de Marseille for my Mary Magdalene practice for along time, and this results in amazing readings. I made the connection years ago of her teachings in Marseille, France and that connection to the Marseille Tarot. I recently also found out that there was a book "The Hidden Magdalene in The Tarot de Marseille" by Raylene Abbott. I think you might like it...🙏🏾🤎

Hi, could you recommend which Mary gospel is the best to read

Sorry it took me so long to see this comment! I personally like Karen King's translation the best. However, it's less about which translation you choose and more about understanding some of the important words and concepts before they were translated to English. Because the English language just doesn't have words that truly capture a lot of the concepts written about in ancient texts.
So having said that, if you want a more scholarly approach to the gospel (but still easy to read if you're not actually a scholar), I like the book "The Meaning of Mary Magdalene" by Cynthia Bourgeault or "The Gospel of Mary Magdalene" by Jean-Yves Leloup.
But my favorite book is "The Meaning of Mary Magdalene" by Meggan Watterson. It's like 1/3 history, 1/3 theology, and 1/3 personal memoir. So it still ahs plenty of scholarly info in it, but reads a little more like a story.
