Even if I don't get a SIMs card from you I will say this video is very informative. I was trying to shop around for the last few days for a SIM card and like you said every company I've called they said my I IMEI number is not able to be found as operable for their sim cards. I have a 2017 Silverado. just purchased the Linkswell T-Style XL Radio and I plan on running XM/Sirius through an app. Which is a better solution for getting streaming services to the radio? @LinksWellInc just an update on this fiasco. The SOC doesn't make a difference in the sim working or not. Plan was changed to one of the specific SOCs gotten from linkswell and still same issue. Worked with a specific guru from linkswell for weeks on this. We even got on a 3 way call with t-mobile tech support and they were ZERO help. This morning i called the sales team at t-mobile and they were a lot more help and at least knew what SOC I was using, which led to knowing that changing the SOC doesn't fix the issue. I also set the access point name info to match t-mobile and still no bars. The unit does see the SIM, if I pull the sim out, put it in another device, then put it back in the unit, it will work for one car ride, then when I go to drive again another day, no bars. Still sees the sim, just no internet. Talking to the sales rep and her team this morning, they think it is one of 2 things, either the SIM itself is faulty (unlikely) or maybe the jeeps computer system itself is over writing the sim. I am still at the drawing board and still googling and youtube searching for fixes and workarounds. Just an update on the hot mess.
