Prince Street Pizza: i'm actually a big fan of PSP, so much pepperoni lol
Lucali's: fantastic, you gotta show up before 3:30 to stand in line tho lol
Fini: a newer place, i haven't made it to but many people say it might be the best o.O

Youll love rubirosa, but I feel like they are disqualified due to the trio of sauces they use lol. Super good!
On the way to Mama Too's is Made In New York on 80th - only get the spicy pepperoni square there but it's my fav comfort slice.
F&F pizza in Carrol gardens is my top spot. Beautiful sourdough crust and the brown butter sage sausage pizza is so damn good

Ngl, I don't. It feels really generic, like a buzzfeed original thing or tryguys type stuff. Not exactly like it, but in the same ballpark. All of the personality he had in the shorts feels watered down here. The titles are just samey youtube stuff, too.
I imagine the other vids weren't doing as well, so I get this approach and I'm really not trying to be a 'hater' or anything, I just don't like it.

Thereâs also something to be said for the aggressively average slices at dingy little neighborhood shops - greasy, chewy, not fully heated up. I love the upscale, designer, trendy places like some of the ones you visited but when Iâm craving a slice I donât always want that. I grew up in south queens and New Park pizza will always be special to me for how average yet amazing it is
Also from south Queens and the people I know always argue with me that New Park is the best pizza you can get in the area đ. Totally agree about average pizza my favorite slice of pizza is from the shop on the corner of my grandmas block. Just the memories of summer afternoons getting a bite to eat with her after playing all day makes it the best pizza.

Obviously other than Best, I'm glad you didnt just try the typical NYC list of of the best pizzarias. The ones that are hyped up always seem to disappoint. Brooklyn is definitely the king pin borough when it comes to pizza. Some other notable spots that aren't really on the map are Krispys on 13th avenue, and Lennys on 86th street. There's also a place in Queens called Pizza Classica on Metropolitan Avenue. Its in a horrible location in a shop and shop parking lot, but the pizza is fantastic.
I grew up across the street from Pizza Classica and the location defiantly sucks. I always thought of it as a pretty local spot as most people in Queens kinda forget Glendale exists đ. Definitely great if you like a crispy slice and they have great grandma slices

Oddly enough a small town in eastern Washington has an Italian family thatâs ran a pizza joint for a few decades. Everyone that leaves compares their new cities pizza to it and few have found a replacement. The pizza has made national lists a few times including buzz feed back when it was a good website. The signature pizza has sauerkraut and mustard sauce. Itâs way to hell out of the way if you are traveling but a great local gem. Hell Iâm going to order from them tonight because of this post. The place is call Fazzariâs in Clarkston, WA; right on the Idaho border about 2 hours south of Spokane.

If you're from the city you know how much travelling it took to get all of these places in 1 day. Respect the hustle senpai. I tried Fini last week for the first time, it was good but $6 a slice lol. If you liked the hot honey square you should try Paulie G's slice shop in Green point next time you're here it is better than L'industrie, Best and Fini in my opinion.
