- In this video, I get my first mow in with the Ariens IKON XD 52. It laid some nice stripes without my Big League installed. The XD is a great machine. I am very happy with it. I put over 80 hours on it in my first season.

Bought the ikon 52 yesterday drove it around awhile this morning,this is my first zero turn .This thing drives beautiful. Bought at Lowe's I had to drive it up on trailer people were standing there watching me , I put this ikon right up the ramp lol any way nice video. Can't wait to really mow my yard.

Hahaha man I just did this...they bring the mower out and say "it's all yours" and I'm like "uhm okay yest it's all mine heheh" and I parked right in the front so everyone was watching 😅

Grass is banging already..looks great. Here in Michigan we got snow today. But did a dethatch, soil test and put 1st fert down.

Have you had any issues with the belts yet? I've seen videos of the hydro belt pulleys not aligned properly and causing the belt to shred. I'm in the market for this mower and don't want this to be a problem for me. Nice video.
I’ve had zero issues with anything. I haven’t even swapped a belt at 100 plus hours. I keep up on general maintenance like plugs, fuel and oil filters, and oil as needed; typically at the end of the season. I blow it off after each use. That’s about it. It’s been a great machine. I’ve not had a single issue to date. Hope this helps. Maybe I’ll do 100 hour review? I’d purchase again without hesitation. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I replaced my rear tires with ATV tires. I highly recommend this if you have a hilly property. ( no more spinning tires )
Also, I drilled 1/2" holes in the edges of the pulley covers. It makes deck clean up a breeze.

I did my first mow Sunday. Had to beat that snow that was coming in 🤦🏾. I got some nice strips but I still may get that stripper for the ikon.
The Big League striper is awesome! I haven’t put it back on yet. I will, but I try to stay light in the spring. And snow in Indy is silly. The 500 is starting shortly! Thanks for watching as always!

I just blow it off after each use and periodically spray it down with some water after that. Nothing special. I let it sun dry. Thanks for watching!
How high do you mow??
I usually like to cut at 4 to 4.5; although this Fall I’m at 3.5 and kinda liking it. I typically bring it down for winter. Thanks for watching!
