4 episodes in. Still deploy trucks on bus line haha
did he do it again? I guess he will make this a staple of the series. ;)
@@Robbedem yeah. Ocurrs at 26:32 . As therr are no busses in this particular campaign
11:30 you should never put a signal for leaving the station, this will block your station if there is a train waiting to arrive at the platform.
I know this video is almost 2 years old BUT we call Trams "Streetcars" in Canada.
Squirrel doesn't know what guano is? That's batsh*t crazy!
Lmao!!!
Priceless.
Thank you.
Not even lying, I'm practically play-by-play playing this watching this series; It is SO helpful, and understandable, without it I would be lost and failing hard. Hopefully I will be as good as you can do some Let's Plays of my own, Cheers!
When you start this on twitch I will officially be glued to it. I love to watch you play this.
It physically hurts me when you don't touch the truck stop to the production building, because you will get side connections that'll be even better.
been loving this series mate :)
hope to see more like this one
Can't wait for next episode I'm glued to this
Hey Squirrel, two things, first, do you know how to Double Slip a junction? When you Criss-Cross tracks or make a diamond crossing, Hover your mouse cursor over the middle where the tracks intersect, it will highlight, then click, it will give you the option to double slip, this means a train can transfer to any track connected to it, not just the one the track is connecting too. So one intersecting track that's double slipped can handle a train on two tracks it crosses over. Second, I love your videos but hate how you place signals right after a junction. Because if a train stops at that signal, it then blocks that junction for other trains.
He does that because he thinks that the game uses blocks, while it actually checks for clear paths instead.
Another thing he's mistaken about is that the cobblestone road is an upgrade to the dirt road. The cobblestone roads are city roads, which means they have a lower speed limit than the dirt roads, which are country roads.
Thank you! All this time, I was wondering why my trains wouldn't deliver logs, but it was because I was using boxcars. Instead, I have a bunch of carriages transporting all of the goods around. I think I need to start this scenario over.
Really enjoying this series
Enjoyed. Thanks Squirrel
22:25 classic Transport Fever moment
Great series!
Good video, keep it up mate :)
In the viewing tram line, at first you didn't electrified the depo portion of the tracks, that's why you got that error message
it was electrified when he built the depot, but he removed the electrification when upgrading the roads.
Thank you for this video! It has helped me greatly! 🤘
Hi Squirrel, I have watched your videos for over 3-4 years now. You have improved so much! Keep up the great videos!
Explains the one way sign check in episode one, and forgets about it and use two way signs every episode.. 😂😜
Watch at 23:15 :D but I really don't get his point. What if you, at one point, had a fast passenger service and a cargo service on the same pair, don't you want to use the other track to overtake the slower cargo somewhere out? Or isn't that the use case for bidirectional signals?
‘A Streetcar named Desire’. A famous film from the 50’s.
Ahem, a famous play, which was later filmed ;-)
30:15 It would have been a very funny story if the mayor of the town came up to you said "I want no horse poop at the hotel and hospital" and you built an electric tram that avoids them anyway. :D
I am with you on this one Squirrel. I just played this. After an hour setting up a great transport system you want me to what? Spend 5 minutes using the bulldoze tool to destroy everything? What sort of madness is this? I already know how to use the bulldozer, so what is the frikkin point making me do this?! A mis-step from the DEVS there I feel. Apart from that, I am loving the hell out of this game. Just some of the campaign objectives seem a bit messed up :-)
Edited to remove the sweary words. Sorry Squirrel, I was a bit drunk when I posted this.
The tequila worm quest had me thinking the devs came up with that on Tequila and Taco Tuesday lol
Keep them comming Paul
22:30 happened bc the left track you selected was further back from the right one. and bc the tracks weren't going straight, the track on the right hand side poked into the one you were trying to build.
@A real bisexual petrol-head this sounds like something from the Grand Tour.
But yeah, he's angry at the game too often, for no reason.
@A real bisexual petrol-head I'm not a native speaker, so I'm not sure about it. It can be translated to my language in two ways and one is a swear word and the other isn't.
20:15 I wholeheartedly agree.
For the alcohol line you could have used ships, since you don't have to worrie about money in this scenario just yet,but trucks also works.
"By far the easier option..."
Please i back to just ETS 2, there you are unchallenged king!
Streetcar is American English for tram.
I used only one train line the Cactus to Alcohol line and the rest via road mostly electric.
"Streetcar" is the same of "Tram".
Gaaagh! I forgot which roads I built? Am I going to have to delete the whole city just to finish the mission? How annoying!
OK done. To complete the mission:-
1. Go to vehicle management and sell ALL vehicles
2. Remove all depots, truck stops, stations, rails and signals from the MAIN city (Topolobampo)
3. Remove any roads you may have created (If you cannot remember all the roads, start from where you removed depots, truck stations, bus stations, rail stations then work from outer to inner until counter reaches 100%)
Ty for the tip Squirrel
Hi, squirrel seeing you destroying the haul thing you build like tram lines and train lines and stations too that was just nuts?
Ah, I remember this episode. I build some carts and single tracks. *sees video* WTF!
when i see your signal is remind me to OPEN TTD style
I think truck station and bus station can be in one station with configuration like train terminal
@A real bisexual petrol-head chill bud
@A real bisexual petrol-head I feel your pain...but you may be overreacting in the moment...he is still learning...this game has a steep learning curve
41:57 Is it not possible to simply use the other side of the existing cargo platform? Never played it, but always triggers me when you just keep adding extra platforms seemingly for no reason *.*
It's kinda his thing. His rail networks are super complicated
wait...i don't have to add another platform on the other side? If i have double tracks, my patents can still enter and exit the trains?
No one mentioned about bug if you choose the alcohol export option.
You will be stuck in the later fertiliser mission.
1:04:59 - Worms
Perhaps a goods loop may have been a better solution for your silver
Guano... looks like grey poop :D
Because it is poop. Bat Poop
@@LarryMyster Or indeed bird poop :))
59:00 no you dont need to electrify anything, you have horses
_They dug too deep!_
You need a signal only before a point. Not after it.
Otherwise sooner or later your trains will stuck each other.
Would like to see ETS2 videos with Blacksea DLC
Why did u choose to change the tracks to one way?
You have a kind of annoying, confusing way of how you play these games, but for some reason I can't stop watching. Keep up the good work!
Everyone plays Tycoon games differently....so the way you play them may seem annoying and confusing to others as well :)
@A real bisexual petrol-head Pretty sure he didnt tell him how to play it...
@A real bisexual petrol-head That sure is an enlightening theory your noggin managed to coin there. Do keep it up!
Yeah. In the USA trams are called street cars >
Yeah, we don't believe in trams or prams over here.
Not so much A Streetcar Named Desire, more A Streetcar Named Manure...
Yo ho Mexico
Far to the south where the cactus grow
Tequila and a squirrel show
A man of great culture I see
@@kulak166 Only the finest and most refined of elegant culture.
Liked it before watching. Don't be too pleased. It's not you, it's the game.;)
the cacti is actually blue agave
who does the narration for the game?
FYI TO ALL AMERICANS(or people who don't understand the vocab): streetcar=trolley=tram
TOPOLOBAMPO
Street-car=Tramp
hahaha the first few minutes the game explains you have to build a socialistic utopia, well better get it right this time ;)
Lovley video!
Downer ending .
omg
Its a requester system
that's why things don't come in until you actually put in the game damn trucks on the god damn line.
4 missions , many videos
and i randomly get it now..

Hey Squirrel when you go on my summer car you know that car what did the garage what car came out so when you gonna when you play that when you play my summer car make sure you look out for it beyond it the garage the spelling gone wrong don't worry about it my speech is not good bye-bye
I uninstalled my summer car it made me do it.
Do you ever reply to your comments?
LOL agave is not a cactus hahah
OMG I hate watching a recorded video, you have me yelling at the screen lol! Street car is the American term for tram.
Why cactie it's Cactus no?
@@calebm9216 Cacti is the most commonly used plural, but cactuses is acceptable.
Yeah wasn't a fan of the last bit either but oh well.
I have not seen anything big and really new in TF2. Small things could have easily implemented into TF1!
- The whole production system has been changed.
- How and how much towns grow has been changed
- traffic lights and one-way street (including highways)
- 18 campaign missions
- map editor
- improved graphics
- many vehicles have been added
- modular stations
- select what cargo can be loaded/unloaded for every stop on a line
- ...
you just bought a peace of land... later... the land has no owners... really?
