  • The H-King A-1 Skyraider PnF is a realistic flying model of the original plane. It is made of strong EPO foam and is electric-powered which makes it ideal as a park flier. There is a built-in Gyro (or Flight Stabilizer) to make flying this plane even easier.
    Get the H-King A-1 Skyraider: bit.ly/326gxd6
The Douglas A-1 Skyraider came too late to see action in WW2, introduced in 1946, but proved its worth as an outstanding ground attack aircraft in both the Korean and Vietnam wars, able to deliver a formidable punch and withstand a considerable amount of battle damage and still get home, the Skyraider had an impressive service record as a ground attack aircraft.
Our Skyraider looks so realistic in US Navy colors from USS Oriskany and the registration 139606 and comes fully equipped with missiles and bombs. The four-bladed propeller combines with an EMT-1200KV motor to give you all the power you need for those low-level strafing missions. The 800mm wingspan size of the plane will allow you to easily transport it in your car without removing the wings.

It looks so good that it hurts. If my hand was good I would buy it this moment and fly it with total pleasure. Great work HobbyKing. Big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert

Hey, maybe you could fly it, this has a flight stabalizer that would totally help you when flying.

What's up with all these comments saying retracts for this little bird.
Why not fly it for what it is.
A little good looking bird that has plenty of power to weight.

Hi Josh. I have just purchased one of the super looking aircraft, but I am completely foxed. I have always been an i/c man and used to 3 wire servo's. I have got one of the latest aerial free Spektrum receivers to go in this aircraft, due to its internal antennae. However the wiring inside the plane has some single white wires, marked up as Ailerons. Do I just connect these to the signal pins on my receiver. This is all new to me, and the manual is of no help either. Can you advise. I can be contacted on (madmodellerbamford@sky.com) Thanks in advance. Anthony.

@@iwasabombardier Hi Anthony, I'm thinking you are right. I just looked at the slim to none manual for this bird. However, I did see that it has some sort of ORX stabilizer. This reminds me of putting a Spektrum receiver in the ZOHD Orbit that came with a stabilizer as well. Single wires plugged into elevator and aieleron and another channel. (Will explain that later)
Essentially, as long as one servo channel has three pins (to include the ground and power) to power the receiver, the rest just need signal wires (white) going back out. The power can go into or out of any RX channel as it is a single power rail. The signal wires are on top. The power of the three pins is in the middle so if you get it backwards it won't blow it.
The thing about the power for these is the power to the servos is simply not from the receiver coming from a battery pack. The power is going to the servos from the stabilizer and only the signal from the RX through the stabilizer. The battery eliminator circuit (BEC) (within the electronic speed controller) is taking the full flight battery power and dropping and regulating the voltage for the accessories.
There will be one more channel you have to deal with. That channel is what amount of stabilization you will get. Also note, some stabilization is not active until throttle has reached 25 percent or more. One mode of the stablization will keep the control surfaces deflected until the plane is leveled. The other will just counter the quick movements of the wind and then return to neutral.
All in all, as long as everything has power, it just needs a signal wire, as long as it does share the common ground.
Make sure to test the control surfaces by flipping the plane upside down level and then banking, while still upside down, back and forth. The surfaces should be really lively, in the self leveling mode, to try to roll the plane the quickest route back to straight and level.
I fly the antenna free Spektrums inside of my B17 and it is plenty good.
      Hope this info helps.

Can retracts even be done reliably and sturdy at this scale? (And work from grass) I'm ok without them but challenge out there to HK. I'm happy to see they showed grass operations, thats a plus for me.

    • @rudyho3790
      @rudyho3790 Před 4 lety

Simple answer, NO, complicated retracts, many weak retaining springs, etc.
