Off course eating more meat especially red meat and the associated fat and less plants if good, that's human's natural diet that's what shaped humans so yes eating a species appropriate diet is going to be healthier.
Happy to see you rebut these paid propagandists.
@@granddaddyofthemall6320 ha! Meat is by no means healthier
I’ve been meaning to buy the ugly soy bitch shirt for YEARS
From an NPR article on grass fed beef:
"Feedlot calves begin their lives on pasture with the cow that produced them. They're weaned after six to nine months, then grazed a bit more on pasture. They're then "finished" for about 120 days on high-energy corn and other grains in a feedlot, gaining weight fast and creating that fat-marbled beef that consumers like. At about 14 to 18 months of age, they are sent to slaughter. (One downside of the feedlot system, as we've reported, is that a diet of corn can lead to liver abscesses in cattle, which is why animals who eat it receive antibiotics as part of their feed.)
In a grass-fed and finished scenario, cattle spend their entire lives on grass. Since their feed is much lower in energy, they are sent to slaughter later - between 18 to 24 months of age, after a finishing period, still on grass, of 190 days. Their weight at slaughter averages about 1,200 pounds compared with about 1,350 pounds for feedlot animals."
I don't know if you have ever seen what a feedlot looks like, but it is generally appalling conditions for a cow. Also, feeding a cow that kind of diet is almost like force feeding a duck or goose to make foie gras.
As for environmental considerations, I can't imagine that grass feeding could be worse than feedlots. For feedlot cattle, you would need to take into account all of the carbon emissions from growing the grain used to feed the cattle, which is responsible for a huge amount of emissions. The land use argument isn't simple either. A lot of the land used for grazing cattle is not easily usable for growing human food. I suspect that there is plenty of such grazing area since feedlot cattle start out on such grazing area anyway.
I believe she finds the topics that drive conservative engagement and makes videos on that. She's just making a ton of money with her cute face and controversial opinions
I think it’s the echo chamber she’s creating not her face 😂 which reminds me of a cabbage patch doll

I'm convinced that this woman is a female clone of Ben Shapiro.
She looks like him too.
Right? the resemblance is uncanny
Yeah it’s kinda nuts how similar they look. She looks more related to him than his own sister does.
Looks? Yes. But I have also a hard time imagining that anyone related to Ben Shapiro wouldn't also talk as fast as he does.
She works for his company and has been marketed as 'the female Ben Shapiro' so you are pretty spot on.
She's intense. I remember being that confident without reason. Glad I grew up!
She's not like the other girls, she's illiterate.

My brother used to send me clips of her all the time as a conservative “gotcha,” but I just had to keep pointing out how poorly researched and easily debunked it all was. Not that he’d take that for an answer though because I’m obviously a biased hippie…

I loved the "Americans are overweight - Protein! Americans are unhealthy - Bill Gates!" part 😂❤
I'm still waiting for my "Soros Check" - darn him!
Bill Gates isn't even vegan or vegetarian.
No but a lot of high profile athletes are, specially in football, look up Tom Brady. I was very surprised with that! Also I'm in no way vegan haha before people come at me haha
I blame Bill Gates
I closed the gates on Bill 🚪😞
She doesn’t believe what she says. It is all her audience. It is a very easy way to produce content.
Just wanted to say that I come from a carnivore/animal-based approach, but I found your channel when it was cited by Food Lies as debunking the Game Changers documentary, and I shortly subscribed thereafter. I'm not allergic to information that contradicts my beliefs, but it's so hard to find vegan perspectives that are free of dogma. Your channel proved itself to be exactly that, so I am subscribed to challenge my beliefs on a regular basis. Please keep doing what you do. :)
I like your comment. Hopefully you eat more than just animal based foods. Please be kind to your body. It needs a varied diet to function long term and short term.
She gives off the same vibes as Ben Shapiro, just aggressively and confidently talk out of her ass
I always find it hilarious when people say Americans are obese so the American guidelines are wrong. Wtf? Can anyone in America even name the guidelines? No. The answer is no one in America is trying to follow the American guidelines.
Forget protein. After watching this, I'm curious what percentage of adderall is in Fem Shapiro's diet. I feel like I could hear her heart palpitating while she spoke.
I think she’s naturally like that. She’s a home school christian kid who never learned volume control or how to think rationally.
I love how you talked about the possible impact on her mental health. This in my experience is a very scary way to live your life. My father in law is this way and he honestly gets distressed when he is talking about the government. It is like a personal attack just that someone else has different information than you. Or has come to a different conclusion about the information that they are given. Anyone to the contrary of his belief is just dismissed as brainwashed . very sad.

10:27 The government has whole departments to promote meat, milk, and eggs. It's just bad-faith for her to ignore that, but we've come to expect it
Funny how she believes it’s murder to terminate a fertilized egg but proceeds to eats sentient animals.
The thing is, if you want to eat 1.2g protein per kg bodyweight, whilst staying within a healthy energy intake, getting enough fibre, consuming adequate vegetables, and not consuming too much saturated fat, you're going to have to rely pretty heavily on plant sources of protein
Whut? I like my beans but lean animal products will meet your protein needs easily with plenty of room for plants.
@@miekekuppen9275 not really 'plenty of room'. Animal foods tend to be much more calorie-dense than plant foods so they have a high opportunity cost
The problem with the vegan diet and lacto-ovo for that matter, is that it's hard to eat a lot of protein without getting too many carbs, at least if you want to stick to wole foods like me and do not want to eat superprocessed food.. anyway. Im lacto-ovo vegetarian tho, but I was vegan for 6 years. It's the same I say. It's easier if you eat meat. Cause a lot of meat contains no carbs bnut a lot of protein.
@@LordOfSweden Define "too many carbs"

Omg I recently saw Mama Doctor Jones make a video about her, she was talking nonsense about birth control. I guess it's her usual thing, to talk without knowing anything
Living in australia and having only been to América for a couple of hours inside an airport I can tell the average american does not eat qhat the government reccomends.. I struggled to find one place selling whole foods
Really? At the airport? Well, that settles it then. There are obviously no Whole Foods to be had in the United States.
@@mcsmoothie7052 Where did he even said there are no whole foods in US? Don't be toxic.
No, the average American certainly doesn’t eat what the government recommends, but one airport isn’t evidence.
In my experience, airports usually don’t have many or any places that sell whole foods. That might be different in Australia and this is anecdotal evidence, too, but the European airports I’ve been to don’t offer great food.
@@Diana-qp2rw Yes I agree I know it's a simple example but we have all kinds of studies, anecdotal examples, etc, of how poorly Americans eat and to say it has something to do with the old food pyramid or how the government tells people to eat... every informed or honest person knows that most of the American population never followed those guidelines. Not only that but its way easier to just say "bill gates" to explain things instead of looking where most of american gov subsidies go to and thats meat and dairy.
It’s just sad that this is where we are now as humans 🤦🏻♀️ thanks for the video!
I remember when I was her age and I fell down the Illuminati rabbit hole. 😅🙃I’m so glad I’m a little bit older, and a little bit wiser now. Hopefully she grows.

This type of conservative content is so ridiculously cringe.
The speaker exhibits a rapid speech pattern, a potentially agitated tone, and a lack of appropriate pauses for reflection or consideration of alternative perspectives. Additionally, the speaker appears to lack a sense of humor.
Ben Shapiro?
exactly!
My wife was one of Brett's 1st subs but unsubbed about 6 months ago when she kept ranting about meat and being anti vegan. She sounds like she just wants to be a pick me around the meat heavy consumption members of the daily wire.
Me too. Used to love her but the more she and others on Daily Wire post anti-vegan content the more I stopped watching. Matt Walsh did a him eating vegan food and ranting about how bad it was video. One he went into the video with bias assuming the food would be bad and two he only ate super processed vegan food (Beyond Burgers etc) and I assure you a vegan did not pick out these foods or make them. And one of their biggest sponsors of the daily wire is meat. Like they don't believe that vegan or vegetarian conservatives exist and they alienate these conservatives to not wanting to watch any of their videos.
I’m a vegan and also conservative and I’m getting so sick of the conservatives being obsessed with meat
Conservative 🤮🤮🤮
I think what conservatives are concerned about is the threat of policy being put in place that would legislate and control their ability to eat what they want. If everyone had a live and let live, “ you eat the way you want, and I’ll eat the way I want” attitude, I don’t think there would be a conservative around that cared who was vegan and who wasn’t.
Same. I am conservative and used to watch her. But this isn’t the first anti vegan video she has put out. She forgets that her audience has vegans and vegetarians in it. She should stick with conservative topics and not this.
@@mcsmoothie7052 I agree with that but conservatives don't want to live and let live when it comes to who can marry who and what a person can do with their body.
I want to point out one thing that you probably got wrong. The average caloric intake in the US is almost certainly not 3500 calories. The UN News article you cited kinda says that but I'm fairly certain that it refers to the "caloric supply" instead of the caloric intake. The caloric supply does not account for food waste at retail, restaurants or household levels, it represents the number of calories available for consumption not the actual consumption.
If Americans actually ate 3500 calories that would probably amount to something like a 1000 daily caloric surplus resulting in 47kg of annual gain in body fat, which is obviously way to much.
Actual data for how much people consume on a daily basis is way harder to come by and relies on surveys which are often inaccurate but it's safe to say that most people are not running huge caloric surpluses. That's just not how people get obese generally. They do so by slowly gaining weight over years or decades for which they only need a relatively small daily surplus of calories.
It takes
You have the patience of a saint, my God. Good video.

Ugh, it's so true. I'm politically conservative (after spending years being pretty far left), and I just can't stand the weird, crazy attitude toward people who have compassion for animals, who want to eat lighter, who eschew animal proteins. The "soy boy" thing is so ignorant and sadly, so prevalent in conservative circles. Conservative plant-based people are an anomaly for sure.

American whole-grain bread is not a proper whole-grain bread anyway. From a north European standpoint THIS IS JUST TOAST guys 😅
The Daily Wire has really found found their footing with shortform content for conservatives. I am a moderate leftie who tries to be authentically open-minded, and what I found with Brett Cooper, Amala Ekpunobi, and even Ben Shapiro is that their reactions are just as lazy, boring, and shallow as everyone else’s. I’m just so tired of watching people stare at other people’s content and contribute *nothing* 🤷♀️
She definitely proved that it’s a good idea to have many sources of information and perhaps be open to having wrong and being biased, its at least the reason I try to stay open minded and listen to people I don’t necessarily agree with.. but thats me and my perspective
Aghhhhh I feel like she’s yelling at me 😢
The problem with ultra-processed foods is that most of them are hyperpalatable, defined as containing two of: high fat, high salt, high simple carb. Your breakfast croissant is hyperpalatable, and your slice of Wonder Bread may also be, but not flour or bread or oil per se, although they are processed. Your sausages are hyperpalatable. So is your steakhouse steak, because it is laced with salt.
I did a natural N=1 experiment on myself. I can eat two or three handfuls of Jube Jubes (10mg-ish sodium per handful) and feel satisfied, and stop. But if I eat twizzlers (25mg per stick) I have difficulty stopping at less than half a pound, and I generally crave nuts or something proteiny even when I manage to stop.
As a young RD I appreciate this video and learned a lot. Trying to learn more in other ways as well
PEOPLE the daily wire cares about the environment, they admit CO2 IS BAD 🥺🥺🥺🥺 what a day to be alive 😊
The thing shocked me most in this video, was the calorie intake in europe and US. I knew it was much higher than 2000kcal, but 3500??? WTF?
And they say liberals are shrill. Sheesh!
I was suffering from auto immune disease, diabetes, and severe fatigue and depression. I started a carnivore diet. After 8 months I am no longer taking any pills. My doctor was shocked that all my conditions were reversed. I no longer have any diabetes. And my autoimmune disease has been reversed. And no fatigue and no depression. Now i do eat thrle occasional fruit or veggies but carnivore diet is what cured me.
Carnivore isn't what cured you. A restriction diet removed the food that was causing you harm. Using your own logic all the people who got cured by only eating fruit makes it a legit and safe diet.
I realize this is a conservative CZcamsr, but let's not pretend the liberal side doesn't also do this. You'll have extra people to get clicks either way. Thanks for presenting things in a calm manner. I appreciate creators on any side that can present facts about why they hold their view and not just yell at the camera 😂
She really does the same thing with sensationalist or dogmatic vegans too.
Surely Recommended Daily *Allowance* implies the upper limit... if I wanted the minimums I'd look at RDI
She's like if Ben Shapiro and Russell Brand had a child. I don't get why this shrill frenetic gish galloping presentation style is so popular in the right wing media echosystem (sic), but it seems to be the archetype that is taking over the space by storm. See: Alex Jones, Russell Brand, and now this...
Brett Cooper is definitely not as smart as she says she is
The guidelines are actually set at 2 standard deviations above what the average person needs. So it takes into account individual differences already if that's the case.
She couldn’t make it as an actress (probably blames that on democrats too) so she makes her living by spreading misinformation. Sad
She wanted to be an entertainer, and that's what she is, providing mean-spirited "infotainment" for an audience of mean-spirited conservatives.
Everyone at the daily wire are failed actors that decided to become conservative talking heads that spew things they probably don’t even believe. It’s quite lucrative.
