The world needs more bird vets! I have a canary that when we got her had teeny little lump just above the beak where it turns fleshy. Didn't seem to bother her so we thought it was just a little defect and her birth mark or something. Then it grew and baldness started happening on her face. Her eyes became watery and she was always wiping her face. She no longer looked happy. I gave her a week long course of Baytril and saw the lump had a little scab. I thought abscess, so I gently picked at the scab and sure enough it fell off and hard pus came out. I cleaned her up and carried on the Baytril. Feather loss continued to go round the sides of her face but after the baytril she became more her old self again. But now her eyes are a little water again and there are another couple of lumps. I think she is in pain because she shouts when I try to look at her and touch her face. There is a soft yellowy swelling on her lower cheek/jaw on one side and now her breathing is open mouthed and laboured and also a sort of squeaky noise. She sneezes a lot and still rubs her face but the feathers are starting to return. We were told it was a vitamin D deficiency and the abscesses were ingrowing feathers. I am not so sure but she is the ONLY one with any kind of symptoms and this has been getting slowly worse since about March. I am worried about her and am wondering if she needs more antibiotics. However I know too much can kill her but if I do nothing, she is dead anyway. We did separate her but she got very depressed and stopped eating, drinking and even moving. She is now starting to look sorry for herself again. Any ideas? Also a canary mother of ours (no longer will be bred) chewed off the top part of the beak on it's day old baby so I hand reared it as it survived somehow. Does the beak grow back? Don't care if it does because we love it anyway and it is now somehow managing to eat seed. Thanks
Hi Joanna, it sounds like your canary may potentially be displaying signs of Canary Pox. This is a virus transmitted by mosquitoes. As it is a virus there are no drugs you can give that will cure the disease, I would think that the Baytril is assisting in combating any secondary infections that are occurring. I strongly recommend trying to mosquito-proof your aviaries to reduce the risk of future disease spread. Your current, unwell Canary may survive the initial infection, once she builds an immunity to the virus she will carry it but no longer be symptomatic. The broken beaked baby will not grow it's beak back.
I researched the pox for hours because that is what we feared it was. She has had the lump when we got her in March and it is now September. Normally pox kills in a couple of weeks and all the others should be dead too. However there are no signs of anything in any of the others so whatever it is, it can't be catching. That is why we thought it must be some kind of infection. It looked like the beak was trying to come back but it was split in the middle like a cleft lip but I think the eating of seeds has worn it away some. It's a happy little thing.

Thank you!!! I wish I had known about this sooner! I read a study about treating birds with ivermectin and then found your video. Please tell me what to do. I really love him and please could you respond to this.
Hi, i have a question. I have a canary who has the mites in her legs, but not that severe. Do i have to apply one drop on each thy or just one drop on a thy? also how many times a day? and for how long? Thank you for your time and please reply as soon as you can.
Hi and good day, First of all i would like really to thank you a lot for your interesting videos :). I bought your product because i saw some mites on some of my canary birds recently. I used the medicine on all my birds today. My question is : Is it enough to wait 21 days to treat the birds again at the beginning or should i treat the birds once a week for 3 weeks at the beginning like what i watched in the video? As well i placed the drop between the shoulders ( under the skin ) so as the birds wouldn't be able to eat from it. Hi, my canary is making clicking sounds and it's very low sound and he's quiet puffed up. Ive applied him Beaphar Anti-parasite spot on which is a drop that is for all the type of mites, parasites etc. he's now cleaning himself as he is annoyed by it, I've washed his whole cage including accessories. I just need to know what else I can do and how to get rid if it because I've warmed up my room and covered his cage with a white blanket. Any other advice please ? Thanks
My budgie has little black specks on his feather. I am pretty sure he has air sac mites so I just treated him for that. I can't determine what the black specks on his feathers are though?

could you please tell me in your experience how long dose it take for air sac mite to kill a bird? my 3 year old canary died this morning but i only started seeing symptoms a few hours before:(
My alexandrine parrot doesn't get any benefit using scatt i apply 3 times on my bird. (my bird has air sac mites ). what should i do now? more than 3 months have passed since this disease still doesn't go I'm very much upset and curious about my bird
Small birds have to be treated on a monthly basis. 1 drop at back of neck close to the skin. My breeder gave me a spray to mix with water to spray cage with too. There are mites that attack birds body and some live in cage itself on bars etc...
Hi Guys at Vetafarm, i use a drop of ivermectin (already diluted to use on small birds) onto the skin to keep red-mites at bay; when i suspect air sac mites i dose the bird with one drop straight into the beak with great results i must say....now, what's your opinion on this practice? In Europe is a very common method used by us breeders. Thank You for all your great work!
Hi, I'm glad this method is proving successful for you! Unfortunately it is not something we are familiar with so cannot provide any substantial opinion on it. My only suggestion would be to ensure when applying that the birds are not inhaling any of the Ivermectin.
Thank you so much for this video! I just got your product today and treated the two rescue budgies I acquired last week. One is displaying symptoms of scaly face mites on around his eyes. We do have three other parakeets in a different room and I mistakenly had our cockatiel in the same room for a few hours the day we brought the rescue keets home. Should I treat my other three parakeets and the cockatiel?
Hi Dr Gestier,I have a pair of red headed Gouldians and the female appears to be narcoleptic, she looks fine, eyes are bright{when they're open},feathers tight and shiny and she perks up when I go near the cage, leave her and off she goes again, head under her wing.I give her a good diet of millet and greens same as the male but she just wants to sleep.Any ideas? thanks
Hi Tony I am Chris and i live in Ireland' I am having big trouble at the moment with red mite'' I keep Canaries an the mite are killing all my young ones' My canaries all look poor an always picking at themselves. Can you please help
So I’ve realised my new canary has air sac mites and I recently just started treating it, it sleeps in the same room as my budgie (because they have the same bed time and the room I put them in is the only room that is dark and quiet) but in different cages but I am scared the air sac mites will or have started to look for fresh blood and might go to my budgie. Is this possible for them to know to go to my budgie ? I separate them in the morning in separate rooms and don’t let them out at in the same rooms as I think my budgie could kill him. But is it going to spread to my budgie if I keep to me in the same room or should I separate them even during bedtime.
Hi, thank you for commenting on our video! Air Sac Mite do tend to spread between birds in a flock, so we generally recommend completing a flock treatment for all birds in the same aviary. As these two birds are in an enclosed environment we would recommend treating both of them. :)
Hi, thank you for commenting! Scatt is our Air Sac and Scaly Face Mite treatment. S76 is not one of our products so I am unable to comment on that one I'm sorry! :)
How the birds get air sac mites? Are the mites common in normal environment and how can we prevent the mites appear in my home? Finally, is Scatt harm to human body? Please advise.
Thank you for your comment :) The product Dr Tony Gestier is using in this video is Scatt. It is a Moxidectin based treatment for Scaly face mite and air sac mite infections in ornamental birds.
Hello, yes Scatt can be used on breeding canaries, it is applied on the skin. I would recommend treating before any eggs hatch as it is not recommended on very young birds.
I noticed my female gouldian has its mouth open and is gasping for air. This is the only symptom Ive seen so far since I haven't seen a cough or change in sound when she peeps or sings. Can this be sac mites? I herd if you pick up the bird and hold it next to your ear you can hear the mites, her trouble breathing makes me want to try it. If she does have the mites and i treat her should i treat the male that is with her in the same cage even though he shows no sign he has it?
I have a canary, older seems to not be able to see at all, head goes to the side and has a tendency to be on the cage walls alot...still eating, but does lots of clicking with beak and head shakes.have done some research but unsure of condition, anyone have any idea's..I am thinking his condition is untreatable?Poor little guy.
+Muhammad Bilal Hi Muhammad, thanks for your question. Vetafarm have not designed Scatt as an oral treatment, so unfortunately cannot recommend it to be used in this fashion. It is also important to note that Moxidectin while a very effective worming medicine, does have its flaws. Moxidectin is completely ineffective for Tapeworm control, is unstable when mixed with water and does have resistance issues with some round worms. We recommend using a safe and effective all wormer for in water or oral treatment and control of worms such as our Wormout Gel. Check out our videos on direct administration and worming in general here: czcams.com/video/DZOTFXVlD-M/video.html czcams.com/video/X1Sf1ClvfKY/video.html
+Vetafarm Thanks for your reply. i already used wormout Gel in water for pigeons but they don't like its taste because of bitter taste of praziquentel. i added orange juice and other flavors to it, but they wouldn't drink at all. i have 100+ pigeons and treating individual bird is hard but still i did that, never seen a single worm though. that's why i was planning to give moxidectin a try.
i just lost my female blue gouldian to air sack mites, real shame. it wasnt until after she died i found out what the problem was. i MUST get some scatt to treat all my other gouldians as ive heard clicking noises in their cages at nights and some are breathing heavily. thanks for the vid
I'm.on my 2nd week of using S76 and feel like my budgie doesn't drink as much. Can I change to scatt? I hear a faint clicking sound every breath he does. Sounds like a knuckle cracking. Please advise. Thank you very much
Hi there, thank you for your comment. Scatt contains Moxidectin and is an effective treatment against Scaly Face and Air Sac Mite. Full recovery may take up to 6 weeks.
Dr Gastier, I am keeping a zosterop that has air sac mites. After giving the treatment, how long then can i shower my bird? It baths everyday. Need help . Tks
Can you use it if canary has scaly legs?If i give it for this reason should i give biotic or not?One drop and again one more after 21 days will be oke?
I'am confuse, i thought i heard you said 3 treatment every 21 days and should clear the aviary and the once or twice a year as a preventative measure. but at the end you said it's not preventative and will not prevent the bird from getting the mite it will only treat the bird if it has it. did i miss the point or i am just really confuse?
I had the same problem.Don't give him cuttlefish while you are giving him antibiotics! Antibiotic Powder will be affected by the presence of calcium in the diet. calcium affects the uptake of the antibiotic. My vet told me this and you can also read it on vetafarm web page under triple C antibiotic Product Description
Hi All, I have applied Scatt on 2 my canaries thigh 4 week ago and all symptoms nearly gone gradually. 5 days ago I have repeated the treatment and surprisingly symptoms worsen significantly. My birds are not poorly but sneezing, coughing, and squeaking non-stop. Is there any logical explanation? What should I do now to save my pets? Many thanks.
Kalms and birds Scatt has to be applied once in every 21 days, total of 3 times. In other words Day1 apply scatt, Day21 apply scatt, day43 apply scatt. When u apply one dose and wait 4 weeks you let the mites reproduce and multiply.
My bird has the same problem but I've been using a medicine called Broncolis.... Is this one effective or should I use other? I don't know any other medicine that can be used effectively.... Any recommendations?
Hi, we are unable to comment on the efficacy of a product that is not manufactured by us. If you are unsure, we would recommend taking the bird to a veterinarian for consult and prescription. :)
I just rubbed it on the effected areas with a Qtip on all of my budgies one of them came infected with air sac and scaly mites so now I treated them all I saw white mites crawling on my budgies I was using lemon grass tea originally to treat the mites I just hope that this will work my husband deep cleaned the cage using vinegar and boiling water after I medicated our birds I put them in a box with a plate of millet to apologize for breaking their trust and they waited while my husband cleaned our room and their cage I might use olive oil on their legs and beak to keep them from getting onto their faces and in their vents
Hi Rukia, thank you for watching and commenting on our video. Air Sac Mites are not generally able to be found externally on the body, as they live in the birds Air Sacs. It sounds as though your birds may have some kind of feather mite as well. Scatt will only treat Air Sac Mites and Scaly Face Mite. Therefore, if they have feather mites or some kind of external mite, we would recommend treatment with Avian Insect Liquidator. We hope your birds recover soon!
This product is called Scatt, it is able to be purchased over the counter but only in certain countries (depending on product registration in that particular country).
Your bird may be sneezing due to the Air Sac mite being in its airways. If this is the case, it will need to be treated for the mite. But we would recommend initially taking it to your local veterinarian for examination to make sure that it is not something else causing the sneezing. :)
can these mites infest dogs and humans? my dad races pigeons and I think they are attracted to my dog and myself possibly because my dog and i lived in a moldy home (separate home from the pigeons) and went to live with my parents.
Full recovery can take up to 6 weeks. Retreatment can be completed after 21 days if necessary. We would not recommend allowing the bird to bathe the next day.
I just saw my Green parrot making clicking noise with its breath only when he run or fly... Is it air sac mite Help me soon this is the only symptom i saw in my parrot please replay ASAP
Hiya is it common for canaries to make a funny noise with air sac mites (like two pebbles being clinked together)? Is there anything else that’s causing her to make that noise? Thanks in advance
Hi, thank you for your comment! Scatt and Avimec are slightly different to each other with different active ingredients. Scatt is suitable for both Air Sac Mite, and Scaly Face Mite treatments.
Hello, my canary has bigger problem. I used S76 (ivermectin) and I didn't work. Vet gave me antibiotics (for bacterial infection) and it didn't work too. Then I used S76 topical on its skin.. Nothing is working! Can you help me please?
***** What exactly do you need to know ? She is 3 years old and she has this problem minimally 1 year. She is doing strange sounds, she is whistling and clicking while breathing during day and night. I have just this one canary but I had another one (female too, she probably does not have Air sac mites ) and they were in one cage together. But the second female died in february this year. Since that time she is less active, but just little bit.
***** No, sorry. I am from Slovakia, Europe. I dont know name of antibiotics, but I know it was for bacterial infection. I want to add, we have fireplace, so I replaced the cage away from smoke. But the distance between cage and fireplace is 5 meter and there is 23 °C. She was whistling all night and here is morning now and she is sill doing it. 2 weeks ako, she wanted to "sing " and it was good, but now it sounds Like she can not and like she is hoarse.
***** I want ask something else. She is doing splutter sounds, I dont know, if you understand what I mean but I hope so. Does it mean she is getting rid of death mites? I am afraid of her. Can I help her somehow to better/ easier breathing?
Hello! Unfortunately we don't have any avian vets in my country. My cockatiel has mites and I applied a drop on her neck (Travipharma) every 2 weeks but they are still not gone. Is there another way? I'm really scared they might kill her it's been too long. Idk why the drop is not working :(
@@vetafarm Thank you for replying. I'm actually not sure I can't tell. She scratches alot and preens though. I checked her perches but I can't find them hiding anywhere. I saw them 3 times though on the floor when she was sleeping. They are very tiny and grey/beige. When I scratch her head I don't see any of them so i think they hide very well
@@Lemon.Icecream it is very hard to distinguish which mite it could be that is causing the issue, and treatment options very much depend on the type of mite, which is why we always recommend taking them to a veterinarian. If the mites are in her feathers and you noticed them on the floor, it could be Bird Mites or Feather Mites. Treatment would involve the spraying of the bird and its environment with Vetafarm Avian Insect Liquidator.
@@vetafarm Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I asked every vet clinic in my country, Kuwait and they all said they don't treat birds 💔 can I find your product in Kuwait?
hello vetafarm, it is very difficult to reach ivermectin where I am, my bird is very sick, what can I use instead of ivermectin? please inform me, is LEVAMISOLE an active ingredient drug?
Hi there, we do recommend administering on the unfeathered part of the birds thigh. However, this will still be effective, so long as it was on an unfeathered part.
Hi Sly, unfortunately Scatt is only registered for the use as described on this video and on the instructions on the packaging. We would not recommend diluting the product. :)
Hi again :), Many thanks for your quick reply and advice :), ok then i have to catch the birds. I have too many of them that is why i was being lazy and wishing or searching for a way for less work :). Many thanks again :) Have a great day! Best wishes Sly
My 2 canaries don’t sing. Thy open their mouth but nothing but a crack comes out. One just died. Where can I get this treatment and what is it called please?
Thank you for your comment. I am sorry to hear about your canary. This product is called Scatt. Where are you located? I may be able to put you in touch with a distributor in your area who may be able to assist you.
We are in Belgium. I’ve added vinegar to his bath water. I see lots of dots in the water every time. So I’m guessing the skin ones are dying but how to clear the ones inside his throat?
hi sir good day my cackatiel is been pluck feather in her neck i dont know why..they said that the one who pluck it is his partner...can u help me to find way to refeather her neck part? thanks and have a blessed day
thanks sir but it over now..sad to say but my female bird is died because of of over plucking of the male bird...:( but now i know next time i have an idea...thank you so much sir..im still have 20 pair sir..thank you so much for the info
Hi, thank you for watching and commenting on our video! Scatt is a very safe product. We would recommend waiting until the chicks are weaned if possible, as the stress from handling her may result in the chicks not being cared for properly. However, if her case of mites is bad, you can go ahead and treat her safely.
@@vetafarm Thank you for your response. I think I'd rather wait. When the chicks fledge and if they show the symptoms of air sac mites, can I give Scatt?
Thank you for responding. I really love my bird and you've helped me . THANK YOUUUUU!!!!!!
Did u treat ur bird? Im scared for my bird and we have no vet :(
I think I have finally found out why my budgie has been sick. Thank you so much
Thanks. Brilliant advice.
This is great. Will be treating my budgies with this method. Thanks for your help.

I need to treat all of my canaries however, there are currently 4 babies that are being fed. Can I treat while there are babies present?
Small birds have to be treated on a monthly basis. 1 drop at back of neck close to the skin. My breeder gave me a spray to mix with water to spray cage with too. There are mites that attack birds body and some live in cage itself on bars etc...
how do i treat coccidiosiss in gouldian
finches
My bird feels and also he was loosing hair but what I would like to know is if it will grow back.
Place answer this for me please again sorry !!!!!
My only suggestion would be to ensure when applying that the birds are not inhaling any of the Ivermectin.
is the bird allowed to bath after applying scatt ?
Can I apply on pigeons ? If yes than how many drops?
Thank you so much for this video! I just got your product today and treated the two rescue budgies I acquired last week. One is displaying symptoms of scaly face mites on around his eyes. We do have three other parakeets in a different room and I mistakenly had our cockatiel in the same room for a few hours the day we brought the rescue keets home. Should I treat my other three parakeets and the cockatiel?
I would recommend treating all of the birds that have been in contact with the affected bird.
Thank you! I will do that!
Product name?
Thanks for sharing is scat and s76 different what's better any advise please
Hi, thank you for commenting! Scatt is our Air Sac and Scaly Face Mite treatment. S76 is not one of our products so I am unable to comment on that one I'm sorry! :)
Can the Jenday Conure get Air Dac Mites if so how much the dosage would be.
Thanks a lot
Hi Ather,
It is highly unlikely for a Conure to get Air Sac Mites.
Thank you for your question!
dude i wanna spray my averiy before i let my birds into flight it 14ft long i have bark on floor thanks
How the birds get air sac mites? Are the mites common in normal environment and how can we prevent the mites appear in my home? Finally, is Scatt harm to human body? Please advise.
Is it safe for birds 7 months years old?
Hello, anybody? What exactly is the product he is applying?
Thank you for your comment :) The product Dr Tony Gestier is using in this video is Scatt. It is a Moxidectin based treatment for Scaly face mite and air sac mite infections in ornamental birds.
Hello, can scatt be used on breeding canaries? If not, how long can it be used before setting the canaries for breeding? thank You.
Hi, can i use Scatt orally as dewormer? since moxidectin is considered to be a safe dewormer.
Check out our videos on direct administration and worming in general here: czcams.com/video/DZOTFXVlD-M/video.html
czcams.com/video/X1Sf1ClvfKY/video.html
@@vetafarm thank you I don't know what to do now
Dr Gastier, I am keeping a zosterop that has air sac mites. After giving the treatment, how long then can i shower my bird? It baths everyday. Need help . Tks
Thank you for your question! We recommend that your bird waits at least 24 hours to bathe to ensure the product has been absorbed completely.
Can you use it if canary has scaly legs?If i give it for this reason should i give biotic or not?One drop and again one more after 21 days will be oke?
Thank a lot guys for replying :)
Hello there. I plan to buy your product to treat air sac mite for my zebra finch. Which product is the right one to buy? Thanks
Hi Daniel, our Air Sac Mite treatment is called Scatt! :)
Archie Felix this medicine available in india?
I had the same problem.Don't give him cuttlefish while you are giving him antibiotics! Antibiotic Powder will be affected by the presence of calcium in the diet. calcium affects the uptake of the antibiotic. My vet told me this and you can also read it on vetafarm web page under triple C antibiotic Product Description
What is the product that you are using? so i can figure out what to buy.
Thanks

hello i just got the product SCATT and just apply it to my canary, but i was just wondering if i have to retreat the bird if the bird get a bath.
thank you for your quick response
***** hi my canary is making squeaking sound could this be why. where can i buy this Scatt
Hi All,
I have applied Scatt on 2 my canaries thigh 4 week ago and all symptoms nearly gone gradually.
Can you use avimec and this one together? Also is there anything I can put on the budgies scaly face? Or no not recommended?
Hi there, you should not need to use Scatt. and Avimec at the same time. Avimec and Scatt are both effective in the treatment of Scaly Face Mite.

Because the medication would have soaked into the skin by that stage, it will be fine haitang :)
Hi... is scatt good to treat feather's mites?
Hi there, thank you for commenting :) Scatt was designed to treat Scaly Face Mite and Air Sac Mite.
What is it called and where can I get it please ?
This product is called Scatt. Whereabouts are you located?
What's the name of this stuff? Can I buy it over the counter?
This product is called Scatt, it is able to be purchased over the counter but only in certain countries (depending on product registration in that particular country).
and lately my canary is picking at his wings.whast is going on.pls respond.thx
and hes spending a lot of time at the bottom of his cage making clicking sounds and being mute.no lovely songs of his
plz doctor just want help. can u put any treatment for sneezing..
Your bird may be sneezing due to the Air Sac mite being in its airways. If this is the case, it will need to be treated for the mite. But we would recommend initially taking it to your local veterinarian for examination to make sure that it is not something else causing the sneezing. :)
Hello. How can I order this medicine for mites? I am from Japan.
Hi Mark, if you contact our international sales coordinator, he will be able to assist you further. His email address is yoshinori@vetafarm.com.au
can these mites infest dogs and humans? my dad races pigeons and I think they are attracted to my dog and myself possibly because my dog and i lived in a moldy home (separate home from the pigeons) and went to live with my parents.
+Cee Cee Hi, the Air Sac mite are not transmissible to human or dogs from birds.
Hi, How long does it take to effect and see the result after first time use ? And is bathing ok for bird on the next day ?
Full recovery can take up to 6 weeks. Retreatment can be completed after 21 days if necessary. We would not recommend allowing the bird to bathe the next day.
Vetafarm Thanks 👍

Hiya is it common for canaries to make a funny noise with air sac mites (like two pebbles being clinked together)? Is there anything else that’s causing her to make that noise?
Thanks in advance
Hi Poppy, thank you for watching and commenting on our video! Yes a "clicking" sound is quite a common symptom for a bird with Air Sac Mite.
Vetafarm Thanks for replying!
Is this the same as avimec.? Does this treat scaly face and leg?
Hi, thank you for your comment! Scatt and Avimec are slightly different to each other with different active ingredients. Scatt is suitable for both Air Sac Mite, and Scaly Face Mite treatments.
Vetafarm would it be overdose if I use both Scatt and Avimec together?
We would not recommend using them together. :)
***** Yes Thanks, my Vet gave me ivermectin yesterday, I drip 1 drop to her beak as he said, this morning so I hope I will see the results.
***** I want ask something else. She is doing splutter sounds, I dont know, if you understand what I mean but I hope so. Does it mean she is getting rid of death mites? I am afraid of her. Can I help her somehow to better/ easier breathing?
***** Hi, it is sill the same, even bit worse. She started to close her left eye, I really dont know why. What is happening with her?
what if finch drink that from that place is it ok?
This product is a drop on, not for in water use.
Hello! Unfortunately we don't have any avian vets in my country. My cockatiel has mites and I applied a drop on her neck (Travipharma) every 2 weeks but they are still not gone. Is there another way? I'm really scared they might kill her it's been too long. Idk why the drop is not working :(
Hi, thank you for commenting! What kind of mites does your Cockatiel have? Are they on the skin/feathers, in the air sac, or burrowed?
@@vetafarm Thank you for replying. I'm actually not sure I can't tell. She scratches alot and preens though. I checked her perches but I can't find them hiding anywhere. I saw them 3 times though on the floor when she was sleeping. They are very tiny and grey/beige. When I scratch her head I don't see any of them so i think they hide very well
Sometimes I notice her kind of heavy breathing though and her feather quality is not good 💔
@@Lemon.Icecream it is very hard to distinguish which mite it could be that is causing the issue, and treatment options very much depend on the type of mite, which is why we always recommend taking them to a veterinarian. If the mites are in her feathers and you noticed them on the floor, it could be Bird Mites or Feather Mites. Treatment would involve the spraying of the bird and its environment with Vetafarm Avian Insect Liquidator.

hi sir good day my cackatiel is been pluck feather in her neck i dont know why..they said that the one who pluck it is his partner...can u help me to find way to refeather her neck part? thanks and have a blessed day
Hello Yhanz, there are many possible reasons why a bird may pluck. Is the bird plucking its own feathers or is another bird pulling them out?
in one cage there is 2 birds that is partner i think the male one pluck it...how can solved it sir?
Sometimes male birds will pluck females or themselves when it is breeding time. If he does not stop plucking her you should separate the birds.
thanks sir but it over now..sad to say but my female bird is died because of of over plucking of the male bird...:(
but now i know next time i have an idea...thank you so much sir..im still have 20 pair sir..thank you so much for the info
WHICH PLACE IS SUITABLE LAG OR CHEST FOR APPLY THIS MADISON?

Hello, is Scatt safe for a finch hen feeding 2 weks old chicks?
Hi, thank you for watching and commenting on our video! Scatt is a very safe product. We would recommend waiting until the chicks are weaned if possible, as the stress from handling her may result in the chicks not being cared for properly. However, if her case of mites is bad, you can go ahead and treat her safely.
@@vetafarm Thank you for your response. I think I'd rather wait.
