This pest is also responsible for the transmission of pathogens such as Salmonellosis or Avian Influenza bringing secondary health issues for people living in infested houses but also for pest control staff being attacked during treatment activities.
Such Acari pest is difficult to eradicate from human dwellings due to its size, ability to hide and to resist to many treatments. However, there are some key points to consider when fighting such arthropod pest to maximize its control and develop long-term strategies.

Thank You for your video. I have suffered from some sort of Mite or Midges for 4 years. It almost killed me. Through trial and error I have made some progress in controlling them. I use Termidor plus an additive for interrupting their cycle. I use a blue light irradiation every day. I also use a Dyson air purifier and wash my bedding twice a week. I have to make sure I completely blow dry my hair. I wanted to post incase I am able to help anyone.
Hello ...what is terminador plus and blue light ? It would help me to understand since I am also suffering from having them on my scalp and skin not able to stop the cycle and eradicate the eggs
Do they live on you? If so I would HIGHLY recommend a diet with zero sugar. That means no oat or almond milk either. Nothing processed as there are hidden sugars in there. I also had them for 3 years and with a completely natural diet they go. I don't even eat ketchup. It has to be COMPLETELY NATURAL.
Use name brand simple green...they almost killed me as well. How to rid the sickness to they gave me?

Oi can't believe I found this, I live in the US , ARKANSAS, I've suffered for 2years with mites, I've slowed them but never completey rid my body of this infestation. I am at my wits end, I've tried everything and learned so much about this subject I feel I could write a book, I need help but there is no help here, I've lost so much this has completely changed my life in a negative way, I miss how things use to be before the mites came,
Have you tried PremoGuard mite killer? After one spraying, I have reduced their numbers significantly on the mattress. I took apart the bed and sprayed all sides. You should spray for 2 weeks. I washed all bed rails with Murphy’s oil soap and used Windex wipes on metal parts. Spray PremoGuard on window sills and carpeting. Wash down windows with Windex wipes. Spray outside window frames and doors with neem oil. Walmart has a good size spray bottle that is inexpensive. Vacuum, vacuum, vacuum. Use a lint roller on sheets, mattresses, and clothes, especially before wearing. Get an antifungal shampoo. Use aloe Vera gel on affected areas of the body.

Have seen cases of this lasting for years with no resolution and the people are able to produce samples. I see D. Gallinae, N. Fowl mite, and Tropical Fowl mite as the most common.
I want to add that if we don't find a cure for this a lot of people are going to have it.
Genetic plasticity is why these mites sometimes infest human hosts they pick for years, whereas I see other cases where it is resolved in a month. I think that has a lot to do with their extreme genetic variation.
Omg i feel like this story the doctor tells first off is exactly like my situation!! Family, doctors, ect wont believe me and they wont give me the meds I know I need!! I am ready to do my own treatments even more aggressively! My animals have this also and it is a constant struggle!! I have used my cell phones camera and I Have Seen them with my own eyes so to speak. My Veterinarian is the only person who believes me!
At least you can see your problem. I can't see my parasites since we got them back at the end of 2021.

Excellent video-I have a rat mite (proof under a 200x clear tape sample, re-state of Florida- including mold mites) and flea sample from a local extension proof, I heard type O blood in human is an issue. I Spray Igr , knock down (Permethrin) long term (termidor/ onslaught ) from dyi in USA and spray 2x a yr inside walls, floor boards? Bird mites attack heat, bug zapper indoors? Find a good dyi?
Can you see these rat mites or mold mites you speak of ? I can't see whats ruined my life for a year and a half now in Florida also..

I was recently infected by bird mites, doctor gave me permethrin and able to find the corpse of a few bird mites
Is permethrin working for you. Same just 2 days ago i got infected by bird mites becuz there was a dove nest nesting besides our window of our other room. I used to go and check them and soemtimes take care of them so during this one visit i stayed for too long over there and these dumb mites climbed up on me without me realizing m for the past 2 days I couldn't sleep and couldn't think of anything else other than these mites . There's red lesions on my body but ATM mostly on my left arm. I can't even sleep at night, I am afraid they might get into the orifices of my body like ear holes nostrils anus naval etc. So I have been staying up at night for the past 2 days. It's tiring already. I have slabbed on sanitizer on my body to kill these mites, I think these mites might die from alcohol on contact but I couldn't catch them despite applying sanitizer on my whole body. And I have applied a mixture of tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil and rubbed vix vapour up. My head has been itching I really hope it's out of street and not that those mites have climbed up to my hair.

Can't see them? They're small but they're not microscopic. Bird mites are smaller than fleas, but they're visible under close inspection. I don't think these people are dealing with bird mites, there has to be a different issue.

Lice eggs on feather shafts of birds, can the eggs be removed by washing and flea combing off the pheasant or do you have to remove the feather?

I have been fighting them for years ! Its very frustrating 😑 People say you are crazy 😡 their are not bugs 😤 its my medicine. Ok well my dog doesn't take medicine . So whats her problem 🤔 they say fleas 🙄 no ! She takes nexguard every month. Definitely not flea.

About your neighbors tree. Get a power washer and, power wash it . Whatever is hanging in your yard . Make sure to spray it towards their house ! Get something with mites on it and, conveniently place it in their yard. Once they get them. They will do something to get rid of them .

What did you use in Texas? Currently in Houston dealing with them. They’ve started taking over my husband’s office and the guest bathroom

We tried and controlled it well with diatomaceous earth, sulfur powder everywhere, pillows and mattress zippered protectors, A lot of washing with borax and vinegar, kleen free spray, burning menthol, ozone lamp. Mixture of essential oils with almond oil for the skin. Anything with permethrin for floors. Wishing you luck 🍀

How about making your body taste repulsive to them? As some people are affected, while others are not! Ayurvedic doctors understand this better from what I’ve seen. Some people have had success by consuming purified sulphur, Neem and NAC - all 2x daily. Others by consuming bitter mellon/gourd or garlic. Look into it!
Also consuming sweets makes it worse, so cut that out as well as getting your yeast in check. Folks with yeast overgrowth also suffer more! Healing from the inside-out while treating the environment. Heat treating the home (buy your own machines as you’ll need to use it multiple times), ozone machines from froverozone. Inside-out!
In the animal kingdom, animals that suffer with “mange” which is the same thing, just maybe a slightly different species of mite, recover from consuming sulphur as well as improving their immune system.
Dogs that consume garlic regularly become mange/tick/mite/flea FREE after 1.5 months of consuming it daily! We need to think outside the box and see how animals recover from
this!
Folks need to focus HARD on the concept of making their bodies “bad” hosts for these creatures.
@@____s460but the problem is, people are uneducated on such things. And by no fault of their own. When advise is seeker, we are deemed to be crazy and on drugs and mentally ill. If there was an Avenue that wasn’t ridiculously unaffordable or impossible to find then I’m sure a lot of people would work in making their body’s bad hosts.

My treatment worked 100% in a week. Flea powder on the carpet. 3 days later i used a jug of flea & tic or small bug spray_with A pump. It didn't take much. Sprayed alongside the corner of the walls and floor and bed legs they crawled up and fed on mom. The source was the nest we removed. I seen 1000's crawling from the nest in line like ants into my house. wash everything after their gone wash everything. 100% of the mites have been gone for at least five years now. Don't use this method with children in the house. I would put my work clothes in the freezer at night to prevent me from taking bugs to work. Guess I was lucky. I still have the same jug of the insect killer.
What insect cleaner did you use? I put my stuff in the freezer too it helps

Hi there - a pest professional will be able to monitor for insect pests in your home with non-toxic traps. From there they'll be able to suggest a treatment if they find anything. If they don't find something then you might be best contacting a medical professional, as they can test for things that cause itching/biting sensations that pest professionals can't. Hope it gets resolved for you soon.
You would think it’s that simple but it is not! Can’t find a doctors or pest control that knows about these issues.

I had a basket hanging bird nest under my balcony roof for decades. The doves showed up the nest was full of mites. Millions of eggs hatched they marched in my house and ate up my elderly mom that live with me. They crawled around tablet screen's during the day and ate mom at night. We got rid of the nest and I sprinkled flea powder on the carpet it didn't work. I got a jug of flea and tick or small bug spray. I sprayed it along sides of the floor/wall and bed posts they crawled up to feed on mom. They didn't like my diet so they didn't eat much of me. The spray worked in a few days they were all gone. Wash all your sheets and carry on.

for Gods sake we dont imagine this ! im infested with rat and bird bloody mites why ? beacause my 3rd floor flat is rat infested due to holes in kitchen cupboards were pipes run behind, also due to air vents in ceilings being near old chimny pots , i csnt get to this as above me conecting to every other flat. outside is biggest tree i ever saw, branches nearly in my windiw. protected tree. its hell. its pure hell. tiny bites all over us.
@TravelerPat it’s been 5 months now for us, rats bit way into flat now we have scabies on steroids plus other bugs due to gaps.
This is torture isn’t it. Please God end this nightmare for you and us my child badly bitten and nothing killing these bird and rat mites.

These are super mites. Part of some depopulation agenda ( this could have just evolved from over use of pesticides but I dunno it feels more sinister.

Rats caused my horrible start , rats living by boiler they broke in rats have rat mites ticks and birdmites they can be seen some do get big enough but in fairness these mites are sooooo tiny like dust but u no it’s not dust also they go crazy at night ! After 5 pm to 8 in morning in the uk. Me and my daughter see dots apearing over the vinyl flooring u wipe them up and over and over all night they come back they do make u sick too. The uk council lied there heads of saying nothing on trap just two flies ! All lies I’ve pictures and the trap is smothered in dots ! All over the trap but they lied because they know they are in and on everything u own and they will have to pay you out in court for all your stuff and the torture u and family were put through. We need something less toxic that kills and can be used every day because these things are breeding non stop !!! All day all night, we’re so sick now too burning fever then freezing, skin looks like bites and scabies mixed but u may see nothing on hands it’s more ur back , your legs and hair oh and these evil things even infest your private parts ! Worse my hubby just died age 43 !! His lungs packed up 30. Percent he died only a month or two b4 my home became seriously infested I fully believe these mites got in his lungs I know because if I go kitchen we’re the rats nest is/ was I cough them up non stop for 3 hours same dots on the floors !! It’s crazy to try to explain only relief is sulphur soap and steam ironed clothes. U may get an hour feeling better but go in the room nearest nest infested agsin in just mins! U may not see anything move , but they are there, they infest ceilings walls cracks baseboards and u need several treatments ! Also finding one that works is hell. I wanna walk away from this flat it made my hubby so sick so weak he died age 43 no immune system fsilling !

hello, ik it hard but try moving out, im so sorry you had to go thro that ik its sucks fr and i can imagine how bad it is for you, moving out or getting professional help would save you from this nightmare, ive heard a lot about tea tree oil, use salt while showering it helps too, try smoke, use bokhoor if yk it or just get coal and have it on the stove for couple of mins till it turns red and place it in a metal plate or something then go through the house, or if you cant take the smoke, place it in one of the rooms and close the door then do it all over agn to the rest of the house, stay strong, good luck

@@gina2190 yes they do i tried them, use salt and water in a sprayer too, but what i had were bird mites so idk if they will work for rat mites, but just try i hope it works, anytime im glad i could help

You are literally speaking as if there is no compassion or empathy in your work to help desperate people and get rid of pests… instead it is all about the practice of pest control and your career. It’s kind of disgusting and a big turn off from any of your tips.
