A salad that cuts the calories without cutting the flavor, like Sara’s Steak, Mushroom and Tomato Salad, or her Scallop and Grapefruit Salad. And we’ll learn about Wholesome Wave, a program that helps people on food assistance get fresh produce from sustainable farmers.

I like how she says cook with your hands at home. That is true. Its your food so you know best how to treat it. Love her salad idea. But what I also welcome, and i wish more food channels or show would incorporate, are educational programs all over the country that involves people trying to make culinary differences in their neighborhood and society whether it'd be food farms, teaching low income women how to bake to gain new skills out in the world, or even the simple introduction of restaurants and the food that is served there. Wonderful, wonderful platform and I cannot say any thing more about it. Love you Sara!
Yum. Sara - could I use a marinated London Broil cut? Maybe?
We are on certain medications that do not allow us to eat or drink Grapefruit. What different citrus fruit do you suggest as an alternative to Grapefruit?
Blood Oranges - tangy - but no reaction to medications.
