They are quite popular these days. I haven't personally used them but have heard edge finishing is not seamless & that joints occuring for larger spans is unavoidable and cannot be done in a seamless way.

I don't believe in these. From a very long time in south India black granite is being used in homes extensively.

Exotic granite or quartzite. Ofcourse the cost is higher here as compared to regular granites.

@@vsnuair there's no problem with other granites but check for their porosity. Generally black doesn't have any porosity.
Does porcelain slabs gets chipped off ? Also porcelain and sintered stone are same ?
Yes it will get chipped, for that matter anything you use will get chipped. But what's visible after it gets chipped is the main concern.
And sintered stone is also a man made material. Doesn't occur naturally so will have similar properties like porcelain or quartz.
Maam can pearl white counter top crack easily after installing within a few years
I m not sure which material your refering to here. But if it's nano white, then yes it will crack easily if banged by something.

As far as I know, you get smart films to put on stone slabs. Never heard of a slab itself that's smart.
Is white granite a best option like black granite for kitchen counter?
Yes granite are a good option but you need to check porosity. If it is uneven in color or have translucent grains then may not be as strong.

Yes, except for Kalinga & ceaserstone variants to some extent are reliable and stainproof.

Your concept is not clear about porcelain. It has highly brittle and chances of breakage is 90% especially at sink and hobe surrounding
