That's right, some gra ites hence need to be sealed. Some granites are having a healthy feldspar content making them extremely less porous. Sealing is also a good way around it. More importantly, white graites have been used extensively for facade, exterior flooring & elevation purposes.

What about slightly tough finishes like leather finish, antique finish, etc which are less slippery and hence elderly friendly and the natural texture is scientifically proven to be less harmful in long run on bones and joints
