This is where the deaths went from normal stabs or slashes to very creative. Parts 3-5 have the best deaths in the franchise. No other franchise would’ve been able to use veins as puppet strings or having syringe fingers. I also love that horrific detail that Freddy not only powers up via fear but the souls of his dead victims so Nancy’s friends and mom are there. Rip Nancy as well she did her best.
Truth ✌️
“Holy f&$k it’s Larry Fishburne”😂😂😂
Does Andre knows that Pops work in a mental ward !
Lol I love when people react to this movie and say that, I knew he was in this movie for decades, but my 😮 moment about Larry Fishburn was his role in death wish 2
I like that they made all the teenagers actually likeable in this movie
They are still the most memorable cast of any horror film or franchise.
“You want me to prescribe an experimental drug to a bunch of suicidal teenagers?” That always makes me laugh
Giving the puppet master kill anything other than a 10 out of 10 is insane.
Probably my favorite kill in the franchise. 10/10.
@@williamsummerson1204Same!
Right? The bloody Spider-Man is one of my favorites.
One of my favorites but the Freddy TV is #1 for me. And with that you have one of the most iconic lines in a horror film, "Welcome to Prime Time BITCH!". You just can't beat that Lol!
It's up there for me too but mine would be the Freddy TV with the classic line, "Welcome to Primetime Bitch!".
I love this movie even more than the original because of the cast and practical effects. It was the first film in the franchise I saw. I was still in elementary school when i first saw it on SyFy. There are a bunch of behind the scenes stories like how director Chuck Russell and co-writer Frank Daramont were brought in for rewrites after Wes Craven's draft ended up being a little too mean and not as fantastical, how the original design of the Freddy Snake was a little too phallic, how Robert Englund was the one who ad-libbed "Welcome to prime-time b***h!", how Taryn's head was supposed to explode after Freddy stabbed her with his needle fingers but was scrapped, and how the actress who played Joey's crush was wearing the prostethics for Freddy's head while topless
This film is my personal favorite among the series with #1 being a VERY CLOSE 2nd. I'm absolutely loving watching you two do this series, thank you so much and please keep up the great content!!! 🖤💚 Ya guys
Same here, this is my favorite, too...followed by the 1st one.
It's awesome!!
This has always been my favorite horror sequel and franchise. The puppet master kill is so iconic. Nancy's death still hurts, RIP to my final girl. 🙏😪
Worse than that, Neil buried Freddy's remains in the junkyard, which is NOT hallowed ground, and therefore WON'T bode well for the Kristen, Joey, or Kincaid later on.
SMH!!!!!😔
My ex-boyfriend got me into watching these films years ago and I still think this one is my fave because they brought back a lot of continuity from the first film, created a biy more lore on Freddy and of course, Nancy Thompson. (One of the best final girls in horror history.) I'm still mad that they killed her off in this film, but I can see the writers wanted to pass the torch to the next generation of kids.
I had the pleasure of meeting Heather Langenkamp and Robert Englund at a convention years ago and they are just great people to chat with. Heather especially since she started a FX Studio with her husband and she's just having a good time making movies.
My only gripe was them killing Nancy!
The skeleton sequence is a homage to Ray Harryhausen, stop- motion pioneer.
One of my favs. Philip’s puppet walk death is the my favorite in the series.
I am a lucid dreamer, and as a kid would watch all these movies before bed. While in my dreams when Freddy would show up, I would make him my minion and have him take out anyone or anything trying to hurt me. Haven't had a nightmare since. 🤣🤣🤣
Literally. We would actually play in my dreams and he was like a minion/friend. Started watching his movies at 6yrs old and loved them ever since.
@theresashores2512 , I was around 7 or 8, when I first started watching the Nighmare on Elm Street films, lol. Are you an 80's kid, too?
@@profanepersonality born in 91. My dad had rented it and I wasn’t supposed to watch it but I snuck it into my room to watch while my dad was sleeping. Once he found out & realized I wasn’t scared, he rented me all of the 80’s slasher horror movies. Just covered my eyes during the nude scenes.
@theresashores2512 , your mom and my dad were similar. As long as she knew I understood what I was watching and that I could handle it; she allowed me to watch it. The only difference I think there was is that nudity wasn't an issue as long as it wasn't literal porn, lol. I didn't even notice the nudity in movies, until I was a teenager.
Finally, you get to witness my favorite Freddy catchphrase!!! Welcome to primetime B!!
I never noticed that we never discovered Neil's dream ability when they were discovering each other's abilities.
might have been detective as discovers how to kill him via burying the bones or able to see freddy as one of the few adults that end up seeing him anyways.
Fun fact, Robert Englund improvised the line “Welcome to Prime Time, Bitch!”
This is tied with Evil Dead 2 as my favorite horror movie. And for the same reason. It's just completely nuts and bat poop crazy. I watched your reaction as I attended a Horror Convention recently and got to meet and take a picture with both Robert and Heather at the same time. Super nice people. It got me curious if anyone has reacted to these movies and found you two. Glad to see someone new to it all having fun watching it.
NoES is my fave horror franchise of the 80s. And this was my fave of the movies. I think they did a good job of expanding the story and making you care about the kids this time, while giving some cool kills.
There are several comic series about NoES, but I have a favorite. It's one that follows events from Dream Warriors. You know at the end when Kristen is telling Nancy that she's going to wish/dream her into a 'Beautiful Dream?' In the comics, it shows that Kristen sent Nancy's soul to the Positive Gate of the Astral Realm where she becomes the guardian. Much like the Demons made Freddy the Guardian of the Negative Gate. So, she spends years learning and building her power and some time later, Neil and some of the other survivors come back for a final fight with Freddy. And during the fight Nancy unleashes the souls of all the children Freddy has taken over the years and they come to destroy him. It was pretty fun and love that ending for Nancy's character.
Idk if it’s true but every time I watch the first scream and Sydney kills Stu with the TV and says “in your dreams” I always feel like it’s a reference to this movie lol
Dont hate on juice boxes! I'm 30 and regularly stock the fridge with kool-aid pouches! haha. Grab that strawberry kiwi and youll see the light!
I absolutely loved your reaction DREAM WARRIORS. I disagree on a few things. I give each death a solid 10 for creativity. My favorite deaths were Phillip, Jennifer, Taryn and Donald Thompson. Bridget's reaction to Nancy's death was a jaw dropper, especially after I first watched it at age 7(yeah I began watching at a young age lol) Not to mention the bones coming alive, her reaction was priceless.
When a horror channel makes it to 1 million subs, the award CZcams sends them in the mail should be that TV with Freddy's head coming out the top of it, with the words, "Welcome to prime time, bitch!" engraved along the front of it. A tasteful entry into the upper echelon. That dolphin edit was utterly hilarious.
In the original VHS release after the credits the music video for the song Dream Warriors by Dokken played.
The "Laurance Fishborn must be here" line when the pigeons were flying fucking had me in stitches. 😂 Great Review! Long live the king baby! Lol.
This is Patricia Arquette's first film roll
"This is it Jennifer, your big break in TV. WELCOME TO PRIME TIME, B*TCH!!!!"
-Freddy Kreuger
The hypnocil connects with Freddy vs Jason...wow 😂
My favorite Nightmare on Elm St. also..
I have the same shirt!!
This one was always my favorite. The original is a close second but yeah. Revenge and New nightmare are also great
Part 3 is my favorite in the series. I also have that Part 3 shirt.
"Welcome to prime time, Flipper."
Carve it on a stone and ship it to mom, for I am dead.
This is my favorite of the movies I’m so happy to see you guys reacting to this 🙌🏾
My boy Kincaide is the absolute GOAT😤✊
Dream Warriors is the BEST! “Is that how your dad died?” Is something I never thought of 😂
The actress who played the bad ass with knifes was in the movie "THE CRUSH" starring Alicia Silverstone and carey elwes
9:23 epic “Youuu”
They mentioned Puppet Master!! Please let that be an upcoming thing! I love (some of) those movies!
Re watching this with yall this is scarier than I remember. It's definitely my favorite sequel after part 1.
The names you make for each kill are beyond hilarious 😂😂
The N’SYNC one took me out!
I'm sorry, but I relish your reactions to the puppeteer death and because my dad helped with the SPFX, alongside the nurse with the tongues. Seeing reactions, like yours, to his work, makes me proud of my father for his contributions to Cinema 😁
Wes Craven wrote an original draft but the rewrote it. They did still give him writing credit
I got that same shirt at walmart for $8. I cut the sleeves off. Now I'm super cool.
13:32 Phillip's death reminding me of Nadine's death of Chucky season 2
It kills me when you call him Fredrick 😆😆
Dream Warriors has always been my favorite in the series. Might be bias because I saw this movie before the first 2. Fun series none the less.
Where’s the bourbon? lol
This is such an incredible sequel. It really cemented Freddy as an iconic horror villain.
Another thing...Weston Hills, even Hypnocil won't be seen again until Freddy faces off against Jason, and I most CERTAINLY can't wait until BRIDGECO reacts to 'Freddy Vs. Jason'!!!!😁
OMG guys, I was obsessed w/ this movie in middle school when I could rent it on VHS for the weekend!
"Nobody doesn't have to go in if they don't want to."
..."I'm out." lol
I too have that shirt from Walmart because the 3rd was always my favorite next to the 1st 😂
Those special effects before CGI are awesome 👍
I'm sorry, but a 7 for "Welcome to primetime B****"? He killed the girl who wanted to be in TV by putting her literally in a TV. While at the same time, delivering one of the most iconic lines in all time in a horror movie. That is truly a 10 IMO and just criminal you didn't even rate it above an 8.
😂 love how you 😮 about Larry Fishburn, my 😮 moment about Larry Fishburn was his role in death wish 2
Right! She dolphin-yeeted herself into the TV. Obviously
I always refer to the first kill as "The Amazing Spider-Man." 😂
Love this one, part 4 and the new nightmare. xx
This one and the next one are my favorite of the series. I knew Kristen looked familiar but never realized that it's Patricia Arquette (I think her best known role is Medium).
This one is my fav of the franchise. Something you might like is 1988's Night of the Demons. The deaths are great. That film gave me nightmares for years.
Loving the reactions and the kill scoring system keep up the fantastic work always a good time and a laugh
The S2 teaser for Interview with the Vampire has just DROPPED!
Once you're done with Freddy, PLEASE DO *THE FRIDAY THE 13th* movies because the movie *JASON vs FREDDY* is canon.
This is my favorite of all the Freddy Krueger movies.
Freddy is a one liner killer.
I think it’s safe to say NOES 3 made up for 2🤣DREAM WARRIORS is most def THE best sequel.
The female doctor is also Sue Snell's mother in Carrie 1976
For Taryn's death after we see the vains on her face get bigger her head supposed to explode, they shot it all with a fake head but it was a 1 shot deal and the fake head did not explode correctly so they had to cut her death short and not include it. theres a behind the scenes showing them film the scene
I would dream I was invincible... Not that I had tiny knives and a mohawk, not a high level RPGer...just invincible. 😊
This one is one of my faves! 1,3,5,& new nightmare are my go to Freddy movies
I saw that puppet master kill years ago when I was like 8, and from that moment I decided I would never have a Freddy Kruger figure
For me dream warriors is awesome no question a fan favorite for sure, not my favorite but it's up there .
Probably my number 3 favorite.
Nancy Thompson returns with a VENGEANCE....
...And so does FREDDY!!!!!
Yes she’s does, all while looking stunning too
You meant Lawrence Fishburne 😂😂😂🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ and he called him Larry all throughout the movie
1 3 & new nightmare are my favorites am I’ve seen/ heard that seems to be most people’s favorites ! I’m still holding out hope RE will give us one last ANOES
Dream Warriors is a great sequel. I love Into The Fire and Dream Warriors by Dokken. Great reaction!
Lmao not the skeleton celebrating!
My favorite out of all the movies and the one I’ve seen the most as a kid
I love Patricia Arquette!! You guys should watch Stigmata, and the series Medium. She's a great actress!
You should watch Taryn's original death which was cut from the film.
this is my fav horror movie!!! love it so much and loved u guys reaction ❤
Can't wait for you guyz to watch Part 4!
This was the first ‘horror’ movie I ever rented and watched on my own. Will always be my favorite. Great reaction.
This movie is still one of my favorites, and apparently there was actually a original ending where Christian lives and actually keeps Nancy and the dream world where she basically ends up becoming immortal. And they did an object that at the end where you saw the light go on and the Krueger house basically that's Nancy and then they started to create more nightmare on elm Street movies and that nice Little tots became a pile of crap
Robert Englund improvised the line "welcome to prime Time btch" it wasnt on the script
thats amazing cause its like my favorite line 😂😂
@@BRIDGECO1 Robert Englund has the liberty to improvise, un the first he said "this Is god" and show tina His glove
I used to have the DVD box set, watched all of these endlessly. 3 was my favorite for a long time, but 4 really grew on me. I think 4 just accepts the 80s MTV era and runs with it. Personally, I think if they ever reboot the series as movies or a TV series, they should lean into the fun more, kind of a Ash Vs. Evil Dead tone and really make use of the fact that it’s all DREAMSCAPE. There is so much room to be inventive. That’s why the 2010 remake was so dull. Now one could argue that with the exception of #1 and #3, the other films maybe strayed from Wes Craven’s original vision and became their own thing, but I think the tone of this one and the next one are what works the best for this series, with higher budgets now to do really creative dream worlds and kills. Although Freddy’s Revenge Freddy still is top tier
Yeah I think 4 is slightly better than 3
New favorite reaction channel lol. Keep it up!
The marionette death scene is in the top five of the series.
Always fun watching the classic eighty horror movies, make you wish Don't want this type of nightmare in your dreams
Awww this one is my all time favorite :)
I remember seeing this in theaters when I was a teenager. I think it was this movie that inured me to jump scares. At the same time, it grossed me out. That tendon puppetry scene was foul!
Best one of the series, fan favorite
Besides Freddy vs Jason this movie is my fav💛
Heather Langenkamp with that hair would have been an amazing casting choice for Rogue if X-Men did a live action version in this era.
I don't know if you react to music videos but the rock band Dokkan did a music video called dream warriors. It has some of the cast from this movie and is amazing. You should check it out
Can’t wait for you to get to New Nightmare! The ones between this and that one…certainly exist lol
The ending of original nightmare is probably like I known what you did last summer movies where you think everything is over and ends with a jump scare but AR least in I still know it turns out to be a nightmare she was having it was over at that time but not for long lol.
This wasn't my first Nightmare film, but it was the first one I saw in theaters. I was 15, wasn't into horror. As a matter of fact, I hated the genre. Then, prior to Dream Warriors release, I saw the first 2 films on cable (it was on a station that was similar to HBO so, no commercials, no editing. I think it was due to the dream aspect, but it didn't affect me the same way Jaws or Friday the 13th did (my siblings were a-holes and put those movies on when they didn't want me around). The fantasy element made this series easier for me to deal with. Now, nearly 40 years later, horror is one of my favorite genres.
Freddy should have done like Michael in resurrection take out Nancy Laurie out at beginning so ding have to worry about them later lol
My favorite of the series
Part 3 is my favorite! i love your channel have you y'all seen Ghost Ship or Stay alive before?
